8.5 Excellent
Cons: A little bit too old.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and amenities were great!! We loved our stay and will definitely be back!!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The gym and pool facilities were lovely. There were so many great machines in the workout room and it was open 24/7. I also really appreciated the sundry room!
Cons: The sheets were pretty scratchy and the bathroom light made a loud buzzing sound. One of the lamps kept flickering. Also, I would have liked the option of later check-out.
6.6 Good
Pros: The staff was very professional and pleasant. We also thought the hotel restaurant and lobby was very nice.
Cons: We did not like that we didn't get a room with a fridge. We were only there a night but they should ask if we need one when we sign in. The restaurant breakfast was ridiculously expensive for the quality. It should be much less.
3.1 Mediocre
Cons: Expected 2 doubles and a rollout. Received a king and rollout with stains on mattress and no linens. So we went to the front desk and told them we needed linens, and would be back after about an hour at the local watering hole. We came back, went to the room, and couldn't get back in the room with our keys. Back down to the front desk and told them of our situation. They couldn't reprogram our keys because their machine was broken. So the night staff attempted to open up our door with a master key, only to find out the door lock was broken. So after an hour of realizing they couldn't get us back into our room (around 2:30 am), they finally gave us another room and one complimentary toothbrush for three people.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything - Front desk, Camille Jira and Kourtney - Restaurant - Receap, JP, Thomas
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, nice rooms and great facilities.
Cons: Cell service seems spotty in the hotel and the wifi is often painfully slow.
6.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: While the hotel looks recently renovated, the maintenance and cleaning staff are not keeping up. The toilet was periodically running. Despite efforts to have it repaired, it continued all night. The shower had not been well cleaned, and had long hairs on the wall.
5.4 Okay
Cons: Customer service, Food, Room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel, nice room, very comfortable bed.
Cons: Incompetent staff, extensive billing errors were made.
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Close to everything you may need. Staff was very nice. Loved that we were given the oppurtunity to checkin early. The pool and hot tub was so nice. The welcome water was wonderful. Overall.a very nice.place to call home base for our adventures.
Cons: Just a personal preference, the bed was too soft for me.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was terrific!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Sfaff was friendly and nice. Location was great.
Cons: Room was a bit small for the price.
4.5 Okay
Pros: When I called the front desk at 1am because the occupants of the room next door were loud, it was taken care of immediately. Loved the complimentary WA post and NY Times newspapers in lobby. Couldn't change us to a King Bed room vs. Double beds. Seemed like we were less-well treated because of booking on a 3rd party site.
Cons: Could hear loud, raucous and profane conversation and laughter, woke me and my family up 3 times during the night, finally at 1am I called downstairs. Seemed to be blood spatter/stain on one of the sheets. Complimentary coffee urn in lobby was empty the one morning I noticed it - at 10am. ?! Was quite a distance from the main shopping and restaurant area, though we did have a nice meal at an Asian restaurant nearby.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, modern amenities, friendly staff.
Cons: The only hiccup was that construction closed the main entrance and parking garage entrance. It was easy to find the curbside valet parking, but the sign pointing straight for self-park was woefully inadequate (one needed to drive about a half-mile farther and then make two right-hand turns (only the second of which had a sign) to go in the back entrance. Similarly, it was not at all clear where the entrance was -- there was only the name of the hotel restaurant over it and inside. These problems will disappear in a few months when construction wraps up, but in the meantime the last problem I expected was being able to enter the hotel.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: location was great 1 block walk to center of town FREE INTERNET
Cons: did not offer free breAKFAST

8.0 Excellent
Pros: They provided cookies, hot cider and hot chocolate in the lobby for guests the first night I stayed, which was a nice surprise. The location was incredible to walk around the city and to the Naval Academy.
Cons: The closest parking was several blocks away, and with old brick sidewalks I couldn't roll my suitcase. I had to carry it. Plus, there weren't the cookies and cider the second night. I'm not sure why and I was kind of looking forward to them after the first night. The room and bathroom were very tiny, too much of the room was taken up by furniture. I had to turn sideways to get past the bed and dresser to get to the bathroom. Also, the pillows weren't comfortable at all, they were too soft.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Downtown is amazing. Favorite place to go. Go 3 or 4 times a year.
Cons: Nothing.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Close to Old Annapolis. Great room at Robert Johnson House.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I started at the Robert Johnson House for a weekend trip to Annapolis. The hotel was well located, and pretty nice. Overall, I liked the hotel. If I'm ever going to stay overnight in Annapolis again, I'll likely stay in one of the Historic Inns again.
Cons: The cable didn't get a good signal, though. After a day of walking, I wanted to relax and watch TV, but the picture and sound kept cutting out. Luckily I can watch Netflix in my phone.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, lovely decor, comfortable beds.
Cons: Walls are thin; at 1am I had to turn on the A/C to muffle the noise from others. Couldn't find any staff when attempting to check out.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Best location!
Cons: Young girl who checked us in was rude. She did not make us feel welcomed at all. I felt like I was on an assembly line when she went through her check-in speech. We stayed at the Maryland Inn. It has potential but when we walked in our room it felt like a dorm room. Just a bed and a dresser TV, and window AC unit. There was no artwork on the walls. Also, they must be renovating because when we got back for the evening the entire lobby and second floor smelled of oil based paint
6.0 Good
Pros: privacy...historic...very well run & would stay with them again
Cons: what brings my rating down is their restaurant, "The Treat of Paris". it is a poor, poor restaurant that represents itself as historic/romantic fine dining when the food was half rate at best. service tried, but it seemed their was a lack of management to oversee it (basic service, issues with food temps, food coming out cold). it's areal Shane that such an established institution as this restaurant has been badly managed to the point of just surviving on its laurels..even the locals tried to warm me that these days it's a tourist trap
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was beautifully decorated and comfortable
Cons: Our sink repeatedly expelled gas and grime from the drain. We were in Room 318 of the Maryland Inn. It is a triangle, with the bathroom at the top point, and busy streets on two of the sides of the main room. The street noise was very loud from both sides which made it hard to relax or sleep. It took us 45 minutes to get our car from valet parking the first morning we were there.
5.7 Okay
Pros: Loved the location!
Cons: Our door was old and kept sticking so we had to shoulder the thing open. Confusing were to park or the whole valet system. No breakfast at the marlyland inn.

8.5 Excellent
Pros: Cute decor! Quiet room.
Cons: The room smelled unbelievably musty when we checked in.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Always wanted to stay here because of the waterfront location. Some other reviews said it was cramped, loud and needed updating so we were a bit worried. Decided to spend the extra money and try it for the spring sailboat show. The room was clean, updated and it was quiet. Our room was late being ready due to arrival of bridal party, the manager noticed us sitting there with our things and personally checked on our room twice and tried to hurry it along. Was too cold to hang out outside. Hotel and restaurant staff was excellent
Cons: A bit pricey. Thought the Restaurant menu was a little limited (but the food was good)

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern & very clean
Cons: I left something in the room. I called back the next day, the operator transferred me to housekeeping. The phone rang 12 times, went to voicemail, I left a message, but nobody has called me back. Very Disappointed... :-(
7.0 Good
Cons: Lobby is dinky and hotel staff are dressed excessively casually. Restaurant and bar are all one big room shared with lobby and not inviting.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location and modern decor.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, clean, nice decorations. Loved the keurig coffee maker.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice been hotel with nicely appointed rooms. Staff was nice and very helpful.
Cons: Parking is expensive!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location
7.0 Good
Pros: Charm & location, friendly staff
Cons: I usually like a form to very firm mattress but this one was so hard I was sore and stiff in the morning. Needed padding at least.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was very helpful, we were able to check in early. They were able to direct us to main attractions and provide maps.
Cons: They lobby was seemingly not air conditioned, it was damp feeling and smelt of mold. The room was in disrepair - side table was broken, writing desk water damaged. Mold on the shower curtain. Very disappointing.

6.5 Good
Pros: The hot tub after working hard all day.
Cons: Thin walls, hard bed, unfriendly front desk staff
4.8 Okay
Pros: Staff was friendly and allowed for a late check out. Shower had good pressure.
Cons: This hotel is very dated. AC is extremely loud so if ours turned off we could hear units running from other rooms. Soap was not very soapy! Carpet is old and the room in general is in need of new furniture and paint. No air circulating in the bathroom. Indoor pool is very small. If there was more than my family in the pool it would have been crowded. Also the water seemed clean but it was cloudy, which is usually an indication of chemical imbalance. It was easy to get into town but I wouldn't stay here again.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was wonderful. The breakfast better than most.
Cons: They were re-carpeting. I have issues with the smell of the glue. They tried to accommodate me. At one point they even moved my room to another area. It was frustrating as I had booked there for the pool and workout room and could not access them for a number of days because of the glue. I would not have booked there if Had realized they were carpeting.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Hotel is worn and is showing age-cleaning was average at best. Corners of the bathroom had mold. Breakfast was good if you arrived at least an hour before it closed because they didn't restock items after that. And staff spoke Spanish but should be more careful about how they talk about guests since some guests are bilingual and can understand their negative conversations. Pool had a lifeguard that was not kind to the kids. This was our first stay at a Country Inn and likely our last.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: I thought that the staff was wonderful. The hotel over all seemed very clea, up to date and well taken care of. I like the fact that we were able to bring our dog. Another point that I thought was great was that the room that my family stayed was almost like two rooms in one. We stayed in one of thier king suites. It had a king bed in a room that was separate by a door and my children stayed on a pull out couch that was more then big enough for the bothe of them. I have a 17 and a 11 year old so they are not small children. I appreciate the fact that when my husband and I wanted to be alone we were able to just by closing the door but still being in the room. The location of the hotel was not far from the bay bridge so it did not take us long to get to beach like areas. All in all it was a great trip.
Cons: The rooms were pretty clean and the only complaint that I may have is that the bathrooms were a little dirty. When we first got into the room thier was hair all over the tub.
6.0 Good
Pros: Hotel was clean, staff friendly and professional.
Cons: Breakfast was ok, but nothing exceptional
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were well furnished and comfortable
Cons: Breakfast was awful and the lack of ventilation in the baths made no sense.

Pros: Room was compact but well appointed. Pillows are bizarre- one super soft and one super hard.
Cons: Noise from next door room very evident. Restaurant overwhelmed for breakfast.

Cons: Booked and paid for a king room and was given a double

Pros: Yeah you'll get a much cheaper price, but the room you get isn't any better than what you'll find at a cheaper hotel overall. If you're okay with spending lots of money, go for it. If not, find something cheaper

Cons: Little further from attractions
7.7 Good
Pros: Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: In the morning I went to take a shower and the water was luke warm to cold. I ran it for 4 or 5 minutes and it never got any warmer. Breakfast buffet was supposed to start at 6 am. However, the staff was not fully ready at that time - no eggs and other items were not out yet. They did cook eggs to order for us because of the delay.
7.4 Good
Pros: The hotel was as expected for a Double Tree. Very nice place!
Cons: The hotel was under staffed. We traveled in for a sporting event (the hotel was sold out), yet the front desk was short staffed and they were only running one shuttle to downtown.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was reasonably close to all major shopping
Cons: Quality of food in the restaurant was lacking
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Agreed that the elevator is really small and used by staff and guests. The hotel, especially the Honors level was well appointed with refrigerator and microwave. The Exec center is TINY. The fitness room is well-appointed, but can be crowded in the morning. They offer complimentary earphones (new in plastic) for guests in the fitness center as the machines all have TV and audio. No Pay Per View movies in the rooms, which was very disappointing to my MID who wanted to watch movies in the room. The complimentary shuttle to/from the hotel is a really great deal. Enabled us to get to downtown without the hassle of parking! We would stay there again.

6.0 Good
Pros: Room was ready at checkin. Front desk was helpful and quickly got us on our way. Liked the noon checkout. So many hotels are 10 or 11AM.
Cons: Room was not as appealing as online pics. It was ok and we only stayed one night so it was manageable. Hotel was full and we were on the first floor. There seemed to be a lot of hallway and outside noise. Bathroom wasn't super clean either.
5.7 Okay
Cons: Dated, needs remodeling
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are clean and well kempt.
Cons: The night desk would have been more welcoming if they were actually genuine in greetings and didn't show displeasure in answering questions beyond their informational spiel. I had already traveled most of the day and really didn't appreciate the unpleasantness at such a nice hotel.
7.4 Good
Pros: dining staff very friendly. especially Tamisha. location good.
Cons: Our bed was not comfortable. It is time to replace the mattresses. Prices more than doubled during the week we were there. would have been good if prices were regular rates. But not worth the over prices charges. especially since you still had to buy your breakfast. also thin walls. could hear children in room above us waking and jumping.

Pros: The location is perfect for my needs.
7.0 Good
Cons: The breakfast food was absolutely horrible. Stale EVERYTHING. I thought I'd seen everything when it came to making scrambled eggs. Apparently not. The food was also cold, and definitely NOT fresh cooked. Beds were horrible. Time for new ones.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast was shut down completely 15 minutes before advertised time
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: It had 3 rooms available when we needed them.
Cons: Difficult to get to. Unprofessional front desk staff. Fire code violations...stairwell doors left open all the time.

Pros: Good value
Cons: Closet did not have a door. Did not know about the "master switch". Bathroom light did not function.

Cons: Vent pipe outside was broken. At times you could smell gas in the hallway. My husband reported this to staff and they were quick to look and apparently made phone calls.

Pros: Location and price were great.
Cons: Loud, next to highway, but air conditioner masked most.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was clean. It is far enough off the highway to be very quiet.
Cons: The shower never got very hot. Just warmish.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was easy to find & right next to where we were going. The rooms looked updated & were very clean. The staff was friendly & when we asked if we could do a late checkout, the staff made it easy. The breakfast was also plentiful.
Cons: The A/C in the room made a few weird noises. But overall everything was great.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Not the hotel's fault but there was a couple in the room next door having a very loud fight at 10pm and after. Seems like when they were near the connecting rooms door it was louder so maybe soundproofing could be better.

Pros: EVERYTHING WAS VERY NICE.!!!!!
5.4 Okay
Pros: breakfast was good; staff was friendly and accommodating; the location is excellent, with a very nice plaza/center of restaurants and shops within walking distance; we didn't make it to downtown Annapolis, but it is obviously also very close.
Cons: the biggest negative was the dampness of the room - we stayed in July and it was really hot outside, and while the AC in our room made it cool, it also made it really damp, which ruined the stay for my wife. when we first got there, I had booked a room with two queens, and they initially put us in a one bed queen - not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience that was fixed immediately. also, one of the days they failed to clean our room and provide new towels, so I had to walk to the front desk to ask for more. the exercise room is very small: two or three treadmill/ellipticals, one exercise bike, and dumbbells up to 35 or 40 with little space to operate (no bench or racks of any kind); no pool
