Very friendly and nice people.
Friendly very helpful hosts and excellent food.Lovely rooms and excellent location. No
The accommodations were very comfortable and it was en suite. The furniture and decorations were lovely. We even had a pub owner come get us and take us to his pub for dinner. It was a great dinner. I would stay here again.
Warm and friendly atmosphere. Kids said they 'enjoyed the breakfast and the beds were nice...' The decor' was beautiful and there was a computer available, which the kids took full advantage of. Only slight negative was that perhaps the windows could have had lace curtains for privacy.
Pretty nice rooms and a clean bathroom. The breakfast is awfully good and lovely. Thank you for a nice night at Lisburn! n/A
Excellent atmophere, great rooms, welcoming friendly staff, comfortable place to sit and chill. Non, might be noisey if you wanted to sit out during summer evenings due to close proximity of road
Friendly relaxed atmosphere, helpful staff. Nice furnishings in the rooms, good attention to detail with the decor
Very comfortable with friendly staff. Lovely breakfast with as much to eat as anyone could want. Very convenient location and our own private entrance allowed us to come and go as we pleased.
Received & warm, friendly welcome. Room was of an excellent standard & well equipped. Breakfast had everything we could have wished for & more ! Would highly recommend this B&B
I arrived fairly late and didn't finish my work till about 10..pm and asked Charles if he knew where I could get a meal. He phoned round a few places and was able to get me into a restaurant where the meal was excellent. The rooms are very well presented and breakfast was splendid. With such service and quality I will certainly stay there again if I am in the are in future.
Our host was wonderful and so were the breakfasts. He was accomodating for extras too like laundry and checking my emails. Mostly I wish the bed could have had more padding on it . I was sore .
Stayed at Keef Halla Country House for 2 nights at the start of a 12 day tour of Norther Ireland. We were impressed with the standard of the accommodation and the owner gave us some useful advice for our visit to Belfast.
superb room-spotless-very pleasant-good breakfast-- not near any pubs or restaurants so can only take taxi for dinner which is not available
Wireless internet. Breakfast. Friendly hotel staff.
The very friendly staff who made me feel very welcome.
Handy for the International Airport. Pleny of parking. Easy to find. Staff friendly. Cleanliness of the whole hotel. I really could not find anything I didn't like.
Comfortable, welcoming, close to the airport
Paefect place to stay when you arrive or depart from Belfast airport. Perfect place to stay.
Very friendly and helpful staff This hotel is remote and really only accessible if you have a car
Excellent service from the staff involved, very friendly, helpful and spent the time of day with you. Room was very comfortable . Could have done with a full length mirror in the room also more coat hooks to allow guests to hang used towels to dry (room slept 4)
We loved the friendliness of the owner and her daughter. They welcomed us warmly and chatted easily about themselves and the area. It was a most wonderful introduction to the country of Ireland.
It was very homely, warm and comfortable
The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful - he gave us a lift into the village to an excellent pub/restaurant. It is very convenient for Down Royal Racecourse.
Lovely, comfortable, and spotlessly clean place to stay. The family could not have been more welcoming. The breakfasts were home cooked by the owner, and delicious! The eggs from their own farm on the premises. Loads of advice about the area and places to go.
Homely and friendly No bad points
Very friendly and welcoming. Facilities first class and as advertised.. Easy to find. Excellent breakfast. Nothing
A great place to stay as it is on the south side of Belfast and any easy drive to Dublin. We were greeted with a warm welcome. Our stay was most relaxing and very peaceful.A Nice walk into the pretty village of Hillsborough.Breakfast was superb.Would recommend Dunhill Cottage without a doubt. Nil
Stayed many times and without exception receive a warm welcome, a comfortable nights sleep and a fantastic breakfast.
The owners, David and Gillian, were absolutely great. They helped us find great restaurants in the area and helped us with directions. The breakfasts were good too. They also let us use their sat nav for our trips around the area. They were the best. It would have been nice to have better wireless connections.
Great hospitality, clean rooms serviced daily, good breakfast menu.. Beds are getting a little tired
Couldn't do enough for you, very flexible and accommodating. a real home from home atmosphere. Very friendly and very clean. Room cleaned daily and towels changed as required.
Convenient Location Maybe a little traffic noise but not a big deal really. Double glazing helped.
The hostess was friendly. The breakfast was fine. This hotel was sub-standard with regard to cleanliness of rooms. The shower cubicle was not clean, showing black gunge at corners and around edges of tray. The tiles in the shower had mildew on the grout. It was clear that when the door was open, the cleaner did not look behind the shower door to clean. The wooden floor in the bedroom (2) was cracked ie chipped boards. I had to move the bed and dressing table to access sockets for my work. Inside the wardrobes were very dusty and there were quilts and lamps stored in them. The valance on one of the beds was dirty and had not been changed.
Friendly staff All "hardware" i.e room equipment is a bit very old and very basic. One star rating justified, but never three.
A very warm greeting on arrival, friendly atmosphere for all of our stay, cleanliness, comfort and excellant food.
The lighting was poor. No bulb in the loo. The room was tatty, the mattress of the lowest quality. There was no obvious heating. V poor.
Nice place to stay and very central No evening meals available
Quiet location in the countryside with a nice cooked breakfast and friendly relaxed atmosphere - typical B&B style The room was very modern and clean with a great shower, however quite small for more than one night stay.
Breakfast was excellent and always on time, room cleanliness was good and facilties second to none My only bad point really was that the owner never introduced himself on my arrival
Very welcoming, warm, pleasant atmosphere. Gorgeous breakfast cooked especially to suit our early departing time. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Tea/Coffee available on arrival. A rural setting on the edge of the city excellent location for our requirements. We'll be back! No
I can find no fault with the experience my brother and I had during our stay at the Down Royal Guest House None
