Pros: Breakfast was great as it changed everyday. You get coffee/tea, juice, carbs and fruit. We were never hungry. Alejandro went out of his way to help us book trips/reserve a meal for us at an exclusive restaurant and also gave us tips on where to eat out. The transparent kayak company are literally next door so that was super handy to get to. The owner's dogs were also super friendly and gave you a lovely welcome every time you came home. Maui however is very young and unfortunately ate my trousers that were hanging on the washing line so I would take care in hanging your clothes! I was compensated by the owners however which was very much appreciated. They also went out of their way to make our 4 year anniversary special with a lovely breakfast. It made our day extra special!
Cons: The location is a bus ride away from the downtown area (e.g beaches, supermarkets etc) but it's cheap to get around and it doesn't take long. We managed to bus ride around the whole island in about 2 hours!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: It’s beautiful house with garden and you can use everything in the house! Kitchen, free water, we could even barrow the scooter to go to the ATM. The room is spacious, everything is clean. And two very nice dogs! The staff makes you feel at home and welcome.

Pros: Our stay at El Karaho was amazing, the location is brilliant, very calm and away from the touristic part of the island. The host Nicole made us feel so very welcome and was incredibly helpful, just like everybody else worling there. I recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat.

Pros: amazing spot when you want to relax close to the sea. Very clean placem nice owners, everything was great !
Cons: Breakfast can be improved a little bit
7.0 Good
Pros: I have mixed feelings. The staff is really nice. As well as the breakfast and the Pool area. It looks like the pictures. But it is pretty far away from everything. If you don't have a ride you can Take the Bus but it takes over 35 minutes to go to the city Center. And you have to wait for the bus. 1 day we waited 40 minutes.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, helpful staff and friendly dogs
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were excellent! facilities excellent and a beautiful location out of the busy city but still only a short scooter ride away. Especially impressed by Nelson who was a super star when I cut my hand and really went out of his way to help and made the stay even more special.
Cons: Nothing to say negatively about this place.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We had a really good experience with the Finca El Karaho. The Location is maybe not the best if you want to stay in the overcrowded city but if you like to stay a bit outside the touristic places it is the perfect place to be. You can easily rent a motorbike with the really friendly and helpfull stuff and drive around the island and discover everything. The room is really nice with a good aircondition and a comfortable bed. The pool is great and the place is close to several beaches. The breakfast was nice and if you want to cook something you can do it in a big and nice kitchen. Again the stuff is amazing and help you with everything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Modern Equipped. Warm Water Shooter Shower. Nice Pool
Cons: Internet was really Slow
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect! Nice breakfast with different options. All facilities were clean! And all the people working there were absolutely friendly and helpful all the time! Although the place is not close to the city, it’s very easy to take the bus or you can rent different vehicles from them. Absolutely recommended!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We were excellent at the Karaho; I recommend it 100%. The rooms are extremely comfortable with all services; the people of the Staff are amazing, they are very kind and helped us a lot during our stay. The site is a bit far from the center, however they helped us with the rental of a motorbike during our stay, which we parked in front of our port and it was much more fun to travel the island in that way.

Pros: The hostel was a great place to stay in San Andres. It is in a more quiet area and a little walk from the city. The owner, Ricardo was extremely nice and helpful. He immediately gave us a great introduction to the island and helped us with everything. We would definitely go there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed my time at Tropical Coral. I’m a solo female traveler and I usually stay in hostels, didn’t find something nice in the area so I decided to book a hotel. I’m sooo happy I found this place!!! I felt very welcome when I arrived! The owners makes you feel like your a part of the family! And Jonathan, one of the staff is so adorable! Ricardo was so kind and helpful, he helped me when I had to deal with a problem! They take the time to explain to you all the things that you can do on the island, the transportations, the restaurantes around and everything that you need to know. The place where the hotel are is perfect because your not stuck where all the hotels are, it’s a quiet and peaceful place and you can walk like 2 minutes and go see the sunsets and sunrises above the ocean! I highly recommend that place!!! :) Thank you for everything! ☺️
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything is functional. Good place for the money. Nice place, nice staff, very friendly people. I strongly recommend it.
Cons: The doors need some maintenance as well as the sewage of the bathroom. Some dishes need replacement.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hostel is a family run business, the madres is very sweet and attentative, she spoke little english but was very acommondating and provided a top class experience regardless of language barrier on my part! The son a big dreamer is very much suited to the tourism and hospitality industry again very welcoming, knowledable and helpful on many occassions surpassing expectations of a host. This felt more like a home stay / shared villa than a hostel. If you are looking for a quite place to focus on work, study or some rest bite before you return home this is the place.
Cons: There was nothing not to like about Tropical Coral.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place to explore san andres! Everything clean, super nice hosts, would go back!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Ricardo was very nice make us feel at home The rooms are clean and the kitchen is nice with many tools. Amazing hospitality Ricardo we love you
Cons: The hostel is a bit far from the center
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hostel owner Ricardo was extremely thorough and helpful, he gave us a map with recommendations of the things we'd enjoy on the island including bus routes on how to get there etc he would check into the hostel every day and ask if everything was OK with us. He gave us his what's app in case we had any questions. The rooms are clean and bright with fantastic air conditioning and the kitchen had great cooking facilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tropical coral was an amazing experience! The owner helps us with everything that we wanted !! Very recommended!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had an amazing time in this hostel, especially because of the owner Ricardo, who is such an kind and warm- hearted person and helps you in every possible way. When you want to do some adventure tours you can count on him and since he can speak english fluent it´s easy to communicate with him (because my friend and I can´t speak Spanish). Our room was big enough, clean and the matress was fine too. We shared the kitchen with two other rooms, but this was no problem at all. There is free coffee and water. I have nothing to complain about and would really recommend staying there.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is clean and spacious, the owners of the hostel were great and courteous, helped us with everything we needed, and allowed us to enjoy ourselves.

With a stay at Hotel Sunset in San Andres, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of El Hoyo Soplador Geyser and West View. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Sunset Hotel was an absolute pleasure to stay at. Honestly there is nothing they could improve on. The staff are incredible, the rooms are really big and clean, the breakfast offering was substantial and location was perfect if you are looking to be out of the bustle. Such great value for money.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff and facilities were great:)
Cons: The fridge in the room keep making a banging noise which kept us awake.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked of the Cleane as well of the relationship betwen propelida.
Cons: Breakfast
5.5 Okay
Pros: We had a nice welcome with lots of helpful information. The breakfast was good.
Cons: The dinner that we had was very poor - tasteless and carelessly prepared. I am pretty sure that the fish that I ordered had been frozen which one doesn't expect being on a island and situated in front of the sea. The room was in poor condition, very dark and in need of a make-over. There is only rocky shore in front of the hotel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice staff and owners Breakfast: good portion siza and not the same every day Quiet side of the island, away from the noise of downtown Spacious room with space to put our clothes
Cons: Hardly any shade by the sunbeds of the pool - an umbrella or two could help
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is great, and was very convenient to dive (our dive center was next door, Buconos)
Cons: The pool could have been cleaner (lot of sunscreen residues)
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location with super friendly staff and views towards the sunset. A dive center is located on the premises gives you the possibility to go diving just a few meters out directly in the water. Good options aswell for having something to eat and a lot of variety for breakfast. This is a tranquil place so if you are into relaxing this is the right place to be.
6.3 Good
Pros: Aesthetically pretty - room and bathroom were nice, WiFi was good
Cons: Middle of nowhere... I got there about 9pm and the place was total darkness ... no where near to get a drink or food Breakfast ok- no choice , I was just given something Pool is lovely to look at but they were using it for scuba diving classes
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I liked the remote location of the hotel. It was quiet and right in front of the ocean. You can jump right in from a rock and climb out and cross the street and get into the pool. The food was also delicious and the staff very friendly. Comfortable beds and rooms. The only issue we had was more with our own planning. We were there for the triathlon which took place downtown. So a golf cart or motorcycle to get from there to downtown was a must. But you can easily take the bus for a much cheaper price and more wholesome experience. We had a great time and will definitely be back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were fabulous - so friendly. The hotel is so peaceful so it’s excellent for a few nights of relaxing!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Located in the southern part of the island, the place is very quiet and perfect for relaxing. The beach is about 15 minutes walking. The buses past every 20 minutes and they go to the town. The room has air condition, the mattress ir very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. And the owners are just amazing, they give you a lot of tips and a trip to the nearby island in a glass boat is included in the price. Overall we had an amazing time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We received a very warm welcome from one of the owners, who seemed genuinely happy to have new guests. We could park our motorcycle inside of the gates. The room was very spacious, cosy and clean and had a nice little kitchenette. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. This was by far the nicest room we've stayed in in South America so far. The location is great as well, since it's far away from the busy town (close by motorcycle) and there's a nice snorkel spot nearby.
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts were awesome and extremely accommodating. They give us a great run down of the entire island, what to see and where to go and not go. The location is great and the bus system allows you to go anywhere on the island easily.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our host where amazing! They did all they can to help us and give a lot of information. The apartment is very conviniant and has good atmosfier, the kitchen is fully aquiped.
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved Pedro & Adriana - warm and genuine people with a sense of humour. Loved the location - far from the busy town part, but within a 10 minute walk you will find the best swimming spot. Pedro was a great communicator too - let us know to stop by the supermarket as there aren't many shops around the property; gave us a room that had cooking facilities; they even arranged for a guy to be at the property in case we arrived late as they had a prior appointment but they stayed as long as they could till we arrived - which we appreciated. They also did lots of favours for us which we appreciated. Do go out on the free glass bottom boat - it is such a treat which started our time in San Andres on a high. You'll need a scooter to get around but it is so worth it to get a real feel of the place, instead of staying in the busy part. Kind people we would love to see again.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Located RIGHT on the beach. Very clean hotel and friendly staff.
Cons: Because of great location there are people outside walking by at night that are loud. Soundproofing of hotel is poor.

On the back there is a terrace with outside shower and it’s located literally in front of the beach. If you need a room in the center, to go enjoying the restaurants and the beach this could be one of your choices, considering the price

Pros: Room service was great, location to the beach was excellent.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Amazing apartment!! Great location
Cons: Didnt have smoking area!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location only 1.5 blocks from the beach and nightlife. Very helpful and courteous staff, although they don't speak English. They were still able to help me with basics like getting a Taxi to the airport.
Cons: The room I was in was very loud. There are gaps in the windows, and it's on a busy street where people drive all night (it only calms down between 2am - 4am). There is also lots of wild dogs in the city, who aren't dangerous, but love to bark incessantly at times during the night. The WIFI is almost unusable, I was getting better speeds roaming on T-Mobile. This seems common for the island, internet routinely goes out or slows to a crawl at even the biggest cafes and restaurants.
6.8 Good
Pros: I did not like anything in particular about this property. It was a solid "meh" on all fronts.
Cons: No windows in our room. Too expensive (as every other hotel on that island). Kitchen too small to be useful.

4.5 Okay

Pros: The staff were helpful and the cleaning lady was really nice.
Cons: When we arrived we were switched rooms to a bigger room because we had a cot for our baby which was great but we accidentally left a nice linen shirt in the first room and we weren't able to recover it. We asked to get it back but there weren't really any efforts done to find out what had happened to it. I would be careful not lo leave anything of value lying about.

Cons: A little out of central town which could be good to avoid noise. There is a bus every 15 minutes to take you into town which is 10 minutes away. Bus finishes at 8:30pm. 20 minute walk but roads weren’t safe to walk along, no footpaths.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Luchy was absolutely friendly! Incredible staff, felt like home!!! The only problem is that the hotel is not downtown, however; there are buses passing by every 15 minutes or so for a cost of COP2,500. I recommend this lovely hotel :D
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff very quiet pls safe and clean Closed to the bus stop to go everywhere me and my wife love it we will recommend it
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Most of the staff was very kind and helpful. The pool is great and the bed was comfortable. The placd has nice colors. The mini fridge was also great.
Cons: The bathroom had no potable water. Breakfast could be better (fruits were not available and the juice was powdered).
Apartahotel Bahia Tropical - San Andrés - Building

8.7 Excellent (233 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Apartahotel Bahia Tropical in San Andres, you'll be a 1-minute drive from Islote Sucre and 8 minutes from San Luis Beach.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing spacious and clean apartment. Huge bed, modern Aircon - overall very modern with everything you need to feel comfortable (couch, dining table etc). The kitchen is well equipped and has most things you need including a microwave and a sandwich maker. . (Need to provide your own salt/pepper /oil ) The apartments were cleaned daily and the staff was nice. The location is a 5 min walk away from the beach, and plenty of restaurants and supermarkets close by. We even walked from the airport (15min)
Cons: This was an amazing stay - nothing to complain :) (We did ask them to get us a taxi and the taxi they got seemed like a private one and it cost 15000cop for a 5min drive - seemed very overpriced, but maybe it's the standard rate on this island)
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: Too expensive for what they offer. Additionally: - Stairs in the entrance, you need to climb 2 floors with your baggage. Not suitable for disabled or elder people. - Safety: Hotel cleaning staff changed the rooms on day 2 without notice, moved our stuff to a smaller room with NO windows. Once we came back from a tour around the island, found our belongings moved to that room. - Rough manager: The lady in charge offered to kick us out of the hotel if we did not like the conditions mentioned above.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Maria was very helpful and efficient at helping us set up some tours. She let us have a late check out and secured our bags in her office. The hot water shower was really nice and the AC worked very well.
Cons: The windows are very small...there was not much natural light in the rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excelent service all round.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the kindness of the ladies at the hotel. very clean
Cons: everything, very nice and clean and excellent service.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Good central location that's walkable to the beach, restaurants, clubs, and activities
Cons: Needs some renovations overall. Windows were thin so could hear all the street noise. Staff was never there so checkout was confusing given that the building door was supposed to be locked so I couldn't leave the keys in the room. I ended up taking the keys to one of their other buildings.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very roomy and the hostess was kind.
Cons: They tried to put us in a different hotel, which was closer to the beach, but which we didn't like. We had to argue with them about it and threaten to cancel our booking. the business manager (for lack of a better title) was very stubborn and a bit rude.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was in a good location and safe area but the absolute best part of our stay was Maria!! We stayed at Bahia Tropical #1 (there’s more than one location) where Maria is the manager. She ensured that we had everything we needed, knew where to go and made it seem like we were at home.
Cons: That we had to leave and head back to reality
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nicr and friendly staff, great location
Cons: Nothing

5.8 Okay
Pros: GOOD LOCATION, THE "HOTEL" IS CLEAN
Cons: VERY SMALL ROOM FOR A FAMILY, THERE'S NO WINDOW IN THE ROOM
6.3 Good
Pros: The staff were very friendly and was helpful no matter how busy. The location as well was quiet good. It was only a short walk to a beautiful beach and many restaurants.
Cons: The receptionist had asked what time we were arriving, we told her 12 and we had to wait until 3pm to access our room. it obviously hadn’t been cleaned properly-there was still hair in the shower and sand in the pull out couch. When later trying to have a shower it took at least 10-15 minutes for the pressure to increase a little bit and for the water to heat up. By this time I had had a cold shower and my parter took the second shower. He said he had all the hot water turned up and no cold, and still it wasn’t completely hot. Our room was located right at the front of the building, and was quiet small. Considering this, it wasn’t too noisy except for the morning. There were bugs everywhere, obviously no pesticide had been provided. The bed was tiny and was definitely a king single, not a double bed. The power was out for 45 minutes in the morning. When the power came back on the internet wasn’t working at all, and we needed to access our boarding passes. To remedy this receptionist gave us a USB to put them onto to print, and we were able to see other customers personal information- obviously this was a USB just used in the office and greater care should’ve taken with this. Disappointed with all this, considering the price.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: No WI-FI ,no hot water

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is quite far from the town so prepare to catch taxi or mototaxi both ways. However, it's quiet and it was a problem for me to find a quiet place on San Andres. There are two rooms for rent. Our was rather small but clean and comfy. The elder owner lady was very nice to us, even washed our clothes when we asked where was the laundry nearby. To get to the San Louis beach you have to walk about 1,5 km. The seaview from the balcony outside the room was stunning.
Cons: There is no shop nearby.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Good location
Cons: Needs better quality service from the staff
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Squeaky clean
Cons: The construction of the two buildings next door is a REALLY loud turnoff.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and cleaningness
Cons: Some of the staff were not friendly enogh for a 4 Star Hotel
5.5 Okay
Pros: location to the beach
Cons: WiFi very very bad or non existent.. food lack of choices
5.0 Okay
Cons: the quality of food was poor. The fact that you could not even invite a friend for drinks at the bar? I understand it is an all inclusive resort, but you should be able to invite friends for drinks at the bar and pay either per consumption or for a day pass. I have been to all inclusive resorts before and that was a first. I paid $325 per day for a Junior Suite which was a joke. Curtains were falling down etc etc
6.3 Good
Pros: The location. The staff. No issues with the hotel staff or breakfast - both very professional.
Cons: The hotel needs to work on the water pressure (non existent) and on the WIFI - both extremely bad for the price. My bathroom shower knobs turned both ways non-stop - so I had to call maintenance to come and turn off the water for me.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Super clean hotel, good WiFi, good breakfast
Cons: Not a beach hotel
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautifull beach and the ocean color
Cons: This hotel right next to the water like ElDorado hotel. Thankfully both hotels have agreement to use their facilities.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everything was of high standard, rooms are spacious and we received a free upgrade which was awesome. Night shows by the pool and a beer great and reasonably cheap. Staff very helpful and polite, I would go back to this hotel, breakfast was great.
Cons: The one thing I wasn't too pleased is the amount of fried fish, I wish that the fish inhouse was grilled as we had to go out to get the grilled stuff. Not a big issue but since we are near the sea. I think an alternative is always great.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Bathroom clogged and asked them to fix at 3:30pm after 4 times of asking them it was fixed at 12:30 am and not cleaned so toilet was gross.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were super friendly and the location is perfect, it's right in front of the beach. I went with my partner for a romantic weekend and I really liked the hotel, the shows in the evening were the best bit, incredible choreography and a variety of shows which gave us a little insight into Colombian culture and the history of San Andres
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: The hot water in the shower wasn’t working. Facilities were very old and badly maintained. Although all meals were included, the food was not good and there were very few options to choose from. WiFi signal was really slow and inconvenient.
7.5 Good
Pros: Very good location , staff and food
Cons: Needs a bit more maintenance work .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, food, drinks, staff and the shows
Cons: Only have 70% charged to my card and then being asked to pay the 30% when I arrived - it said initially the whole amount would be charged before check in, just caused a little confusion but very minor.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location right in front of the beach Night shows every night
Cons: Bartender & super basic drinks and cocktails Poor variety of food and desserts
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Right in front of Spratt Beach. You can walk out, walk across the street and you are in the middle of everything that is happening in town. The staff is friendly, the buffet is pretty decent. Half Board is a good option. You are not tied down to the property. This is downtown, so if you like a party scene, want to walk down to the beach, grab ice-cream or a beer, everything is accessible to you.
Cons: The rooms were not great. They were small, the bathroom was ok. The TV had lots of static, first level rooms are not the best option. We were told, couples get first level and family rooms were upstairs. The cleaning crew leaves the doors open while cleaning, which all the mosquitoes congregate in your room by the time you get back from the beach. The pool is basic. Beds were not so comfortable. Even though we put a "do not disturb" sign, our room was entered and cleaned regardless. That was not comforting. I would overall still stay, and make sure I get a room on the second level with a balcony.
7.0 Good
Pros: It had good location right in front of the beach and shopping area
Cons: It is overpriced for its real value, the location is good but it gets really noisy at night, and the alcohol they use for drinks and cocktails are very cheap quality
7.0 Good
Cons: Food options
4.5 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfy.
Cons: No hot water in the shower, the toilet was working 1 day on 2. The room was really small. The WiFi didn’t work.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location. On ocean. Large rooms. Good selection of foods.
Cons: All was good.

6.2 Good
Cons: Quality of drinks
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing, people in the desk was very discourteous, bad customer service, the property looking very different in pictures look too old, and dirty in person and food it’s no good don’t waste your money in this property in the island there are a lot options of hotels, and you pay less with better acomodation... don’t go this Decameron it’s terrible..
Cons: I don’t Loki’s nothing . Nothing, people in the desk was very discourteous, bad customer service, the property looking very different in pictures look too old, and dirty in person and food it’s no good don’t waste your money in this property in the island there are a lot options of hotels, and you pay less with better acomodation... don’t go this Decameron it’s terrible..
7.5 Good
Pros: The location and facilities were great.
Cons: The cost was high for the value
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything
Cons: Almost everything was greit, the only thing i didn't like it was when i did the reservation my room was supose to be in front of the water for a nice veiw, and they gave me the wrong one, but i am very happy with everythin else
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing at all.
Cons: All of it. The place is falling apart.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The property itself is beautiful in a nice location
Cons: Customer service was poor, since my Check In that was a nightmare.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: The location and the sea view from the deck.
Cons: Everything is designed to be unconfortbale. Worst checking process I have ever seen. Every activity, like meals, snacks etc have strict schedules. Staff is not as polite as in bogota or Cartagena. Food is ok, not wonderful. Open bar is crappy, there are no fresh juices available. Facilities are old.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and the staff
Cons: They need to make a renovation
4.8 Okay
Pros: Nice and long deck over the sea, easy access to swim and excellent water views.
Cons: Didn't like the food, impossible to get reservations to one of the three (menu) restaurants -you'll need to wake up at 6:30am to make a line for an hour to reserve- so you'll be stuck with buffet, rooms don't feel clean enough, too much noise at the hotel. If you want a peaceful place to relax and eat well/healthy, this is not the place.

Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Planning an event in San Andres? This hotel has facilities measuring 431 square feet (40 square meters), including a meeting room.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The size of the room and bathroom, restaurants offers great choices of food, location was good too.
Cons: Swimming pool was closed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Dining at the onsite restaurants every night was a pleasure. The two persons of distinction that must be mentioned Joel (from Bogota) and Alexander make for a exceptional dining experience. Accommodating to a fault, laughter, camaraderie and very welcoming. Those two gentlemen are assets to the establishment.
Cons: The rooms aren’t equipped with air conditioning units as explained to us by Maintenance, they are “Air-Chillers” so the ability to adequately chill the room was somewhat limited.
4.3 Okay
Pros: Location was the only positive of this awful hotel, you could walk to almost everywhere from there.
Cons: Absolutely everything. We booked this hotel because it was rated as the best of the island but it was the most expensive hotel we stayed in Colombia and the worst by a mile. Rooms stank and were so humid we woke up with out bed sheets and all of our clothes wet. After we complained they showed us 12 different rooms, all had the same issue. The pool area was horrible, in the middle of the way. They offer some excursions through a third party but they are a rip off, speaking to other supplier you can get the same for much less (35/50% of the price). I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, it is way TOO pricey for what you get.
6.3 Good
Pros: Good location and cleanliness.
Cons: Extremely poor WiFi. No kettle. No iron. Poor and slow service. Too expensive. Worn towels. No hand towels often. To have extra poolside towels the lady interrogates you rudely. Leaking roof due to condensation as poor aircon system. Unhelpful staff most of the time. Staff are quick to say no to whatever. Etc . Don’t go there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect. Breakfast is great.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Wifi it’s bad
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The beach was great, the room was big and clean, bathroom amazing, in a simple phrase Great Small hotel
Cons: Small pool, construction on-site
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff who went out of their way to help us with whatever we needed... Went above and beyond with trying to get us parasaling and made the trip worth it
Cons: The wifi could have been better but it got the job done
5.8 Okay
Pros: The restaurants are good
Cons: The hotel is way overprice... its problably worth less then half of what they charge...
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly and when realized they got our room wrong they changed it immediately and upgraded us
6.8 Good
Pros: The breakfast very good, the location wonderful. The staff more and less, 50 % where polite, 50 % no polite. There was only one plug in the room, located in the bathroom, which I consider not enough. The mini bar only had waters, sodas and beers. There wasn't any " no disturb " signal or label to put on the door.
Cons: More facilities are needed, for example, gym or sauna. When we arrived it took as at least 30 minutes to do the check in, and taking into consideration that no other guests where with us, it is too much time. This hotel needs more technology to be more efficient. The hotel would close the swimming pool at 20 hs, and that is very bad. San Andres is very warm, the swimming pool should be available at least till 10 p.m.
7.0 Good
Pros: Good location and clean.
Cons: The WiFi is non-existing and the staff do not go the extra mile to help you. The hot water is not hot enough and the water pressure and the amount of water coming from the shower is soooo little that makes it close to impossible to have a good shower. The staff just explain that it’s basically what it is. They hotel should in this case explain it in the adverts. The breakfast window is short. The receptionist kept calling 2 of its restaurants and said they had buffet which we wanted to pay for but when we went there they explained that with different answers at the same time saying that they don’t have it when we said we had only breakfast included but would pay for the buffet and even said it was for those who had paid for the buffet, going back to the receptionist she said we could go and eat and pay for it and going back to the restaurants they said no..... so we went to another hotel for buffet called Sol Caribe. WiFi nowadays is very important and they should clearly state that they don’t have it. The water in the shower is not a small matter either.
