Set along the Gulf of Trieste, Falisia, Portopiccolo is surrounded by breathtaking scenery. The village of Portopiccolo features a beach club, a range of dining venues, and a shopping street with an elegant promenade of fashion and design boutiques. Inspired by glamorous cruise lines of the 1960s, the resort’s interior houses gourmet restaurants that serve traditional, innovative, and healthy dishes. Outside are an infinity pool and a private stretch of white shingle beach. All 65 guest rooms and suites are populated by burnished metal elements and a revised concept of the canopy bed that recalls the Habsburg coat of arms. Unique décor and tapestries employ warm colors, including Bordeaux red, mustard yellow, and blue. The new Wellness Spa features a relaxation and tea corner, fitness centre, sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi, emotional showers and ice-cold waterfalls. The Medical Spa and the Beauty Spa will open by mid-2016.
