Pros: The location is really great for those seeking a break from the kitsch and glitz of downtown Keystone. Set off from main street in the woods, but still just moments away from the 1880 train depot and downtown Keytstone. The breakfast was very good, with a changing menu, fresh waffles, and fantastic bacon. For real - the bacon was awesome. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rustic and quiet couple of days in the hills.
Cons: The only complaint I had was that the eggs in the morning were a little too manufactured. I would skip those and stick with the bagels, waffles, and - of course - the bacon. No gym - but that really didn't bother me, since I was on vacation, after all.

Pros: The only place to eat/drink in offseason is right next door (unless you feel like driving 40 minutes in any direction). A place called Barlees offers limited food options but the staff are incredibly friendly. They offered more/better info than the staff at hotel.
Cons: Staff seemed irritated. Didn't offer much info aside from basics. The morning of checkout I waited 20 minutes for someone to arrive at the desk. There was a line of 2-5 families during this period all of which took turns ringing the bell for service. Perhaps they are just understaffed being the offseason.

Cons: Keep the good work!
Pros: Great location to Yellowstone
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: We didn't end up staying because the hotel room was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned. It was gross, the floor hadn't been vacuumed in quite a while even though the carpet was new. There was a beer bottle in the bathroom cabinet from previous guests.
Pros: Location was good.
Cons: Was not clean. No room service, no fresh towels without asking,no ice , no pool as advertised.
Pros: Great location, quaint, quiet, peaceful, kind staff.
Cons: Needs new mattresses and flooring.

Cons: Upstairs was bit too hot for the kids but they loved the loft just the same. Housekeeping knocked at 955 reminding us of 10 am checkout

Cons: the floor was wet and a saw a bug in the room
Cons: Staff upon check in was not very friendly or welcoming.
Pros: Moderately priced, convenient location near the shopping district. Adequately furnished. Free breakfast.
Cons: To access the upper level, you use an outdoor stairway. The weather was nice, so it was no problem.
Cons: Room full of dead flies, room not clean.
Pros: Walking distance to town and restaurants.
Cons: Not much of a breakfast selection and the overall cleaning could have been upped a notch.
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff. 5 minute drive to Mt. Rushmore. When we got there, the light was out in our bathroom. The lady at the front desk had it fixed within 20 minutes.
Cons: The only complaint I would have was the lack of water pressure in the shower.
Pros: The location was great
Cons: The hotel seemed old and run down. The pool was not open nor the hot tub. For the money it was not what I expected and I was very disappointed.

Cons: There was a dusty dead spider and a dusty cheetos, among other things, along the edge of the carpet throughout the room. The blinds across from the bed were so broken they couldn't be used. The impromptu blanket/curtain was not very helpful because it was hard to get to stay up if we wanted any daylight and I constantly thought it was going to fall down and break the curtain rod when adjusting the blanket.
Pros: Good location to Mt. Rushmore.
Cons: It is a dump. The carpet looks like it's 30+ years old and hasn't been cleaned ever. There was dust built up in the corners of the carpet and a layer on top of the TV cabinet. The walls are so thin that you cannot watch TV at any volume without disturbing your neighbors. Don't bother with the breakfast. They ran out of milk for the cereal, and there wasn't much selection beyond that. The staff was not able to tell me anything about the town or Mt. Rushmore. They advertise that they have wifi, but it doesn't work. I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies.
Pros: 3rd shift staff was very friendly.
Cons: Rooms were VERY out-dated! Carpet on the floor went up the area were you were supposed to put your bag...so no safe (aka. clean) place to put your luggage. The carpet, bedding & curtains just left you feeling dirty. Beds were VERY uncomfortable. Would NOT stay here again.
The closest motel to Mount Rushmore near attractions for children, miniature golf, tram and alpine slides. Heart of Black Hills, walking distance to malls and shops.
Pros: Pool closed and hot tub that was supposed to be part of the chalet rental was not available!
Pros: Nice pool. Manager very accommodating and always seemed to be there and available.
Cons: Some of the cheapest pillows, bedding and linens I've come across especially for the price.
Pros: The staff was very helpful and very professional. Good for those looking to have the souvenir shopping close by and don't mind small and cramped places to eat.
Cons: The parking was atrocious and horrible for the larger trucks and cars. No breakfast, not even a continental breakfast.
Pros: I liked the location to rushmore and to shopping and restaurant
Cons: It was just weird ,almost gross definintely dated i'm not sure how to described it was very morgue like cold and clammy

Cons: I didn't receive the room I booked. My family had to split up because they were overbooked on suites that I paid for. Beds were painful because springs were juting out and made the bed uneven. My head was lower than my lower body!
Pros: Easy of location.
Cons: Parking, room needs to be rearranged, TV Infront of mirror. Would be nice if vanity was outside of shower area so both could be utilized.
Pros: Not much
Cons: Resort fee of $12 a day for : coffee, pool and parking. Room was very small.
Cons: The pool and hot tub were disgusting. The hotel was dirty, smelly, and the rooms were absolutely cramped. The staff were rude and not very knowledgeable of the area (I.e. I asked where we could take the helicopter tour and she said she didn't know. The parking lot is connected to the helicopter tour office.) overall, we stayed to be in keystone near the memorial and the start of some scenic byways and for the location and cost of room, remember that you get what you pay for
