Benji was the best employee by far and definitely deserves a raise! Unfortunately his only job seems to be greeting you taking you to your destination. The food was generally okay (drinks are expensive) that being said sunny side up eggs and room service meals were a step too far for the chef while we visited. Me and a friend choose this hotel to relax for a few nights after a 14 day trip with a larger group. We were relaxed by and in ore of the surroundings, which are extremely beautiful. The tours are included, unfortunately we were not informed fishing was available as that is something we would have definitely been up for. (It is in the book in your room, bear in mind it’s 30 degrees so easily missed if you don’t know) When you arrive you are warmly greeted (with a song) to then be told of the sustainability and environmental efforts being undertaken, which is good, but you could also be better informed of things to stop you going out of your mind.
We visited during the corona scares so I expect it was quieter than usual, that being said it is without doubt the most quiet place I have ever been to, with not a lot going on except the tours which are overcrowded tourist spots. It is a 100% couples a couples retreat, I’m not sure what age up to as some of the heat and activities may be harder for 55+ especially the hike over the island which was by far our favourite part. Whilst there we got to see a huge monitor lizard & monkeys (it is properly hot and humid so be prepared if you are older or unfit) Also it could do with a tidy that side of the island as there is rubbish everywhere and they are apparently keen on that sort of thing. It did it’s job, we got refreshed, just felt a little like I was marooned on an island with not a lot going on and handed a big bill at the end, which could have been avoided if we had chosen somewhere with better routes in/out of mainland.
the lake in the middle is nice
no wifi on our room.
All islands tours were nice with very good prices and the snorkeling at miniloc island that they get us with a tour was incredible!!!also we saw monkeys around the resort and it was amazing. I really enjoyed the massage with a girl named Jane my husband also enjoyed the foot massage with another girl. Jane was really professional!!
The only thing was that you can’t swim just in front of the hotel however you can go cayak (free from the hotel )for not more than 15 minutes to the nearest small but really nice beach
Staff was really awesome. They all made us feel welcome and very special.
Great Location Staff takes care of you in any way possible (solve every problem, activity manager to plan your stay, they even bring you bedtime stories) Cleanliness Environmental friendly
Food can be improved
