The grounds of the hotel are lovely, like a tropical resort. The food was superb and the staff very welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean. The service to and from the spa was excellent. There was a lovely family 'buzz' about the hotel. It was all very relaxing. The swimming pool appeared to lack a rinsing shower (even for feet before going into the pool.) Or perhaps I just didn't see it!
The location was great and a fantastic garden in the desert. Food was plentiful and the Aragon room we had was very comfortable and clean and nice. This is a perfect location for a visit to the Dead Sea/Massada. We enjoyed the "Cactus tour" and our walks in the surroundings.The pool is great. Staff were friendly, but could have been more informative about what went on, trips etc. Just to read the notice board was not enough for a tourist. The spa could need a bit of a face lift, but it served its purpose.
location, breakfast and dinner was delicious Standard rooms disappointing. Mildew in showers, over priced for what you got. 30 dollars per person for dinner, way to expensive.

The location on the Dead Sea is absolutely perfect!!! There's so much to see & do on and around the Kibbutz. We hiked up Masada, floated in the Dead Sea, found natural hot springs, hiked to beautiful waterfalls (Nahal David & Nahal Arugot) in the middle of the Negev desert! We also enjoyed watching the Yaelim (majestic Ibex) romp in the desert and frolic in the fresh spring waters. The location is perfect!!!! The kibbutz experience is totally separate from the hotel. The "kibbutznicks" don't really interact w/the hotel guests (as on other kibbutzim). It's a beautiful kibbutz with incredible botanical gardens from all over the world. There's a lot to do on the kibbutz - fun for the whole family!
A fantastic location which enabled us to have a really good rest. Swimming pool was excellent. Site layout confusing with not enough signs.

I liked the staff the best -- they were energetic, resourceful, friendly and really helpful! I could see that they were always trying to make everyone's visit a pleasant one. As a solo traveler, it was nice to know that they were looking out for me. Actually, nothing really.
I loved the nature and the food and gardens. Also the view of the dead sea. I was not impressed with the picture of the room i saw on the internet compared with the room I received. It was clean etc. but it looked so much nicer and bigger on the internet. I think that companies should show what the person is getting as it would alleviate expectations and disappointments.
Location 1. The buffet food was of poor quality - bearing in mind the price we were paying. 2. The towels in the room were small; there should have been large bath towels. 3. There were no shower gels or shampoo in the room. 4. In 2009 and for the price we were paying there should have been a better hair dryer
