very friendly welcome. Small nice romatical hotel with big taste of history.
The central position of the Hotelwas helpful in arranging to visit the surrounding coastline without much trouble.
The cost of the breakfast was very high given that only a minimal continental breakfast was provided. The limited Dinner menu was considerably reduced on two nights which left only an inadequate choice available. Parking is a major problem in the town and one which should be identified more clearly in the Hotel's publicity as all streets have parking meters and time restrictions.. As should the fact that throughtout the town there is no close free parking and it is impossible t parkt in the town for a full day as the parking restricitions allow a maximum of 5 hours. This makes visitors unable to go out at any time for longer than that.
Right in the centre of the town, close to the sea front and several restaurants. Unique style built in the 14th century, but room extremely small.
Difficult access to hotel if travelling by car and although free parking was available, it was about 400 meters away. Breakfast was minimal standard continental.
Central location friendliness of staff resturant on site close to all ammienites a very nice to stay.
No car parking on site or very near by.
The hotel is in a fascinating old building in the centre of Etretat. The room was very small, dominated by a fourposter bed which left little room to move around, but it was a comfortable bed. The bath was a jacuzzi. The main snag was that the loo was not in the bathroom but in a sort of vestibule area as you come into the room, separated by a door on a very strong spring which was very awkward at night. But it was a convenient stopover and Etretat has lots of restaurants and is a pretty town.
See above, and breakfast was dull and not good value at €7.
