The awesome, nice lady at reception was super! Very kind and hospitable.
The gentleman at reception was a nice guy. However his hospitality/customer service skills when dealing with non-German speaking guests leaves a lot to be desired. I saw his interaction with two Asian guests during their check-in and at times his approach was borderline harassment. We are all exploring the world coming from different places; a little patience and understanding goes a long way.
The place is clean and close to the tram way!
The staff is horrible, I felt very disappointed about that ! There is not hospitality, you can not stay in the common space, there is not boiled water, you can not put your luggage in the luggage space when you do the check out ! Many thing
I stayed here for 3 nights. first because of the rating of the place on the booking website I was nervous that I will have a bad experience BUT instead I did not face any of the problems mentioned in the previous reviewers. if that is telling anything it must be that don't really rely on what people write in their reviews some people just have a bad experience because of their behavior, personality or whatever. let me break it down for you so you will know what are you expecting. first, don't expect too much. your expectation must be based on the amount of money are you paying, if you want to have an idea look at the prices around in other accommodation. in your arrival, you will pay an extra 2 euros for some tourist tax imposed by the German government (that already mentioned on the booking website). if you have luggage more than 1 suitcase you will need to store it out of the room for 5 euros a day other luggage is ok like a handbag ( I had a suitcase + big handbag + a Backpack and I took all of them into the room without paying any extra money for storing them) the rooms and the bathrooms & showers are clean. beds and the pillows are OKAY (again see the money/quality report) the woman at the front desk she is awesome she can help you with any issues you have. one more thing many stores are around ALDI + PENNY + restaurant are within 5 min walking so you can buy some food and there is a fridge where you can store your food. finally, I would book here again.
They are very cooperative. It is very difficult to manage such a short room. But they know the art to manage it.
There are lots of hidden costs.
Shared Space is alright and the stuff was friendly.
Beds were a little bit old but overall it was ok.
