Opt for a Lower Level Room

Some guests recommended requesting a lower level room, as it was fulfilled for them and made their stay more convenient.

Consider Room Selection Carefully

Several guests mentioned that the rooms were clean and updated, but some reported issues with specific amenities like the toilet seat attachment and the size of the sink, so it's advisable to check these details before booking.

Check for Nearby Attractions

The hotel is conveniently located near Kenny Perry's Country Creek Golf Course and Simpson County Archives and Museum, making it a good choice for golf enthusiasts and those interested in local history.

Be Mindful of Seasonality

If planning a visit, consider that November is the low season and June is the high season, which could impact availability and pricing.

Be Aware of Breakfast Arrangements

Some guests noted that the breakfast was wrapped in plastic due to pandemic rules, and there were comments about the limited selection and absence of hot food, so it's good to have realistic expectations about the breakfast offering.

Request a Room with a View

While not explicitly mentioned in the reviews, considering the hotel's location near a golf course, it might be worth requesting a room with a view of the golf course for a more scenic experience.

Consider Accessibility Needs

If accessibility is a concern, it's important to confirm specific requirements, as one guest mentioned that a room was supposed to be handicap accessible but had a tub with no seat and other limitations.

Check for Pet-Friendly Accommodation

The hotel allows pets with applicable charges, but it's essential to confirm the pet policy and associated fees before arrival.

Be Prepared for Noise

Some guests mentioned noise issues, such as noisy beds and excessive noise from other guests, so it's advisable to be prepared for potential disturbances.

Verify Special Requests

If making special requests, such as a bottom floor for accessibility or specific room amenities, it's recommended to confirm these requests in advance to ensure a comfortable stay.
