The staff are really friendly, everything looks clean, good location and great value for money. The Guesthouse is super cute, very clean and the staff super friendly. The room was big and not crowded. Also very comfy. Its right in the center of Fujisawa and Enoshima. The theme of the building feels like you live on the ocean. Comfortable, clean, quiet and in a great location halfway between the 2 railway stations and in the middle of the main walking street. The hotel room is clean because every morning the staff is always cleaning the guest house. Also the staff is humble and very kind. the staff fluent in English so you don't need to worry. Very close to the island/on popular strip. Dropped off luggage early and staff had brought it up to the room when I checked in later in the day.

Tiny cortidors and walls, very loud. Smells of fried food because of the cafe downstairs. Kitchen/communal area is very small. The mattresses are not good and I did not sleep well. This is quite a major fault with this guesthouse which otherwise I loved. I think they need to invest in softer mattresses and pillows. The first night I felt there was a downhill slope in my bed which may only be due to an old mattress. The next night there was a noise coming from the room below and the staff tried to solve it but couldn’t do I turned around in my bed to get away from the noise and that’s when the bed became super uncomfortable. You have to use the shower handle manually to wash yourself as it wouldn't stay in the holder properly. I just wish they provided room slippers since they ask shoes to be taken off in the rooms. The guest shoes were taken off and place in the small resting area, made the tiny little space very uncomfortable. The 1f lounge is stinky because the floor is very oily. The shoes should have separated from the guest floor area, and need a door. It's a bit dusty under the bed/ mattress or somewhere deeper inside. Dryer didn’t really dry clothes well (wasn’t the only one). Not a lot of ventilation/air flow in the room. Walked past twice as the sign for the guesthouse was a bit hidden or not as obvious. Walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything, but it was not bad. The stairway is a bit narrow, so don’t bring big luggages. The sound proof is weak. Sometimes difficult to sleep because people snoring but that’s the deal when we go to a dorm place so don’t forget earplugs if u want calm. The house is perhaps a little bit cramped but despite that it is comfortable and clean. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in my room, was fine in the public room. Other than that it was perfect. The only thing to consider is if you are a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs. It was quite easy to hear people using the restroom and a baby crying in another room throughout the night.

The hotel staff is very helpful. Location is great too. Mokoto is very caring and helpful. I had a lovely stay! I loved the food and drink selection, and the lounge area the best! I also enjoyed the food stand right out side of the hostel! 10 out of 10!! :) They had a shop with delicious-looking food in the front which is a nice feature for people staying longer. The location was also very good. Walking distance from many beaches.

Some guests recommended bringing your own slippers as the guest house does not provide them.
