Fukuoka hotels near Kushida Shrine

Pros: Great hotel with excellent service, nice and helpful staff, delicious breakfast and very good located.

Pros: Food was very good at coffee shop and at Teppan restaurant. Not so good at the Chinese restaurant

Pros: We had a lovely stay at last leg of our holiday in Fukuoka. 1. the room was big and spacious and so was the twin beds and bathroom. However the bath tub was huge and had no aid like hand rails to get out of the huge tub as it was very deep to get out. 2. there were an amenities list in the room that you can "borrow" from the hotel like organic shampoo or moisturizing tissues etc...and what "cannot be taken" but borrow like the types of pillows etc. 3. there is an Nespresso machine in the room as well as tea bags for free consumption. Did not use the mini bar. 4. the hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating to a certain extend in Japanese culture. Loved the fact they are able to help hold one of my luggages for 6 days for when I checked in after my trip around Kyushu. And they bought it to my room on my checkin. However I suggest to check with the hotel 1st like I did for confirmation on holding luggages. 5. the location is excellent as there is a huge mall next to it as well as the Seiryu Park where the outdoor stalls called yatai are at night. Hakata Station is about 10mins walk from Grand Hyatt. Thank you Grand Hyatt Fukuoka for a wonderful but short stay. Enjoyed your hospitality.

Pros: This hotel has a wonderful location near shopping, restaurants and local attractions. Public transportation is nearby. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The met every request I had in terms of finding local attractions. The rooms are clean, quiet and modern.

Pros: The location of the Royal Park is excellent, in the center of Fukuoka, and just a few blocks from Hakata station. The hotel is on a quiet side street, so the hotel is quiet. The staff is very friendly, and the rooms are spacious by Japanese business hotel standards. I stay there every time that I am in Fukuoka/Hakata.

Pros: Convenient location. Decent size for a hotel room in japan. Love the night dress for the guests and the bath tub!!!

Pros: in room amenities and layout of the bath room also the services of front desk clerks convenient as there is a convenience store opposite the hotel which its price is quite reasonable not charging with unreasonable price the front desk clerks were very helpful and very welcome

Pros: Breakfast was quite good except the bacon was not crispy. Perhaps they can add muesli and oatmeal to the menu. My mother stayed at the universal room and she was happy about the the room having a lot of space for her to move about with her walker and wheelchair. Location was close to Hakata station and other restaurants which was great.

Big chains have lost much of their appeal for me as I want a simple and reasonably priced experience free of pretentiousness, so this type of hotel, or the growing number of hotel/apartments popping up in Japan's bigger cities are great for me. Small room with narrow desk; tidy and comfortable.

Pros: The curry during breakfast and the french toast thing were my favorite!

Pros: Location. It is 10mins walk from Canal City and 10mins to Tenjin Underground Mall. There are restaurants and cafe nearby the hotel some opened til 4am! Especially the noodles and gyoza shop just across the street. The beds are very comfortable and clean. The hotel provides beverages in the lobby/cafe dining area. Every night we tried all different types of fruit juice and fruit infused drinks. Loved it! Also tea and coffee machine available there as well as in the rooms. There are vending machines and washing and dryer machines on the lobby level. The key cards are tapped in the elevator access to your rooms for security. There is a fresh supermarket just down the road besides the Family Mart, 7-11 and Lawson.
