Pros: The bed was super comfy, the hotel has a large area for parking. We stayed at the newest part of the hotel and everything seemed new and organized.

Cons: The price could be a bit lower.

Pros: The staff was really caring and the breakfast was super delicious. The bed was pretty comfortable, the shower was amazing and everything was really clean. The parking spot was also very safe.

Cons: This is a minor thing, but the elevator doesn't have any fan to circulate air. In hot day, it becomes an uncomfortable ride.

Pros: The breakfast was really great even though it was simple and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Also the shower had great pressure while maintaining an easily adjustable temperature.

Cons: The curtains didn't actually black out all the outside light.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable and the shower heat up extremely fast. Location is a huge plus as it was near everything I needed to do the next day. Also the staff was very kind and resourceful.

Cons: The air conditioner was old and I it didn't change the temperature, so the room became too cold.

Pros: Excellent value for money. Great location, clean, good breakfast, friendly staff!

Pros: Really quiet, good shower and a very friendly staff. Also, right by the side of the hotel there is a great 24h convenience store too. A great value option.

Cons: The double bed had a big elevation difference in their elevation in the mattresses levels, that made the bed a little uncomfortable.

Pros: Good location, room felt closer to a 4-star hotel room than a 3-star. Breakfast was good.

Cons: They charged for water. Having a filtered water station in the lobby/breakfast area would have been a huge help.

Pros: Location was excellent. One male staff member was excellent. Having a fridg was a plus.

Cons: Lack of tea making facilities in the room, no drinking vessels, on asking the best they could do was a plastic mug. They would not call Uber for us, even on request, they said Ibis doesn't deal with Uber and would only order a taxi at twice the price of Uber. This was a big disappointment for us.

Pros: Pillows not comfy, very flat

Pros: Good location and a nice swimming pool next to the restaurant.

Cons: The minibar is extremely expensive, 3.50 for a cup of water. There's also a 10% mandatory service charge over the total booking cost, which is not very well advised in the booking details. Had to go back at it and check if it was really included.

Cons: The hotel is not 5 stars, for us 3 or 4 stars. The hotel is old and the bathroom was dirty, old room.

Pros: Dinner Buffet is excellent! Buffet itself is Worth a trip to Monthez ! Pool area is also a great asset

Cons: Remote location, a car or taxi/Uber is absolutely necessary! Supermarket in walking distance, but no restaurants. No direct access to the mall across the road for pedestrians.

Pros: Cleanliness, friendly staff, breakfast and overall quality of property (new, well maintened), selection of snacks and beverages at reception (very practical)

Cons: Processing time and waiting time to check-in (2 front desk ladies for several guests arriving). Sometimes, even to buy a water or snacks, we had to wait 5-10 minutes just to pay. Patience is needed. The pasta and soup menu could be served on sundays too, especially for families with small kids who do not want to go outside for a meal.

Pros: Nice view over the river into town, and adjacent to the old locomotive bridge which you can stroll across into the town centre. Breakfast overlooking the bridge and river is a nice start to the day.

Cons: Although the hotel advertised that they speak English (part of the reason why we chose the place - since our Portuguese is practically nonexistent) it seemed that none of the staff did. As a result, there was a minor complication at checkout whereby we had paid upfront (with an added charge for breakfast) and had been undercharged at check-in, and were presented with a bill for the remainder of our stay at checkout without an intelligible explanation (due to language barrier) which was a little disconcerting. In the end, they were correct (the difference was about R$150), but we would have preferred dealing with this sooner and it did leave us a little disconcerted being presented a bill upon depature. We understand that mistakes do happen and this would all have been okay, but it is annoying when they held themselves out as speaking English (and we have factored this into our assessment when choosing the place).

Pros: Great location, close to the centre with restaurants and bars. Staff are really friendly and the pool area is clean and tidy.

Cons: Breakfast was a bit hit and miss

Pros: I arrived very late at the hotel. Staff awake was very nice. My room was comfortable. Breakfast was good though not great.

Cons: Everything was fine just did not find exceptional.
