What are the pros of staying at Best Western Hotel Porto Antico?
Helpful staff, excellent location. Really great breakfast! Very nice breakfast, good value! Pet accessories Position Cleaning The Staff, The Food, The Room, Were All AWESOME!! The Staff Helped Us With Lost Luggage And The Breakfast Food Was GREAT!! The Location Was GREAT. We Found A New Church, SanFillipo Close By. We LOVED The Church. The hotel is a 10min walk from the Genoa Piazza Princippe train station and is located very near the harbour shopping area, the Aquarium attraction and it is very close to eateries and Carrefour Express. It also has friendly and helpful staff in all departments. The room was clean and housekeeping was prompt and professional. They also had a daily affordable buffet set up. I think it was 4euro. It has a lift within the building. Toilet was small but looked new and had basic toiletries, except toothbrush, paste, shaver etc. Its good value for money Just a train ride away from must visit Portofino. Or a ferry ride away.. Ultimately, good value for money Best Western branded hotel. Beautiful breakfast great location very helpful staff Good location, clean rooms, 3 sizes of towels, friendly staff! Friendly staff The location is great Great location, nice rooms, attentive and friendly staff. Just 100 meters from a public, closed parking. A very good breakfast for only 4 Euro! Thanks! Very clean, great location and walking distance to the train station. Room was small but we were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there were a variety of things to choose from. Dining staff were nice and friendly. The hotel met all our expectations for one night stay. We had two rooms facing narrow inner street and it was quiet, we were able to sleep by open window. Hotel is close to the port and aquarium and old town. Rooms comfortable. We had to leave early for train and they offered to prepare takeaway breakfast boxes which was a nice surprise and very handy. Very central...friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable. I found the breakfast very satisfying Great location close to the cruise port only a 10 minute walk plus also, close to restaurants. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Overall a good nights stay. Everything was fine. The breakfast so good with a lot options Convenient location but difficult access. Room was clean and had balcony, shower with good water pressure and they kept our bags securely after check out so we could walk around town. It was a great location, nestled in a great area with nice restaurants! Breakfast was delicious and very satisfying! The location is excellent and the beds are nice. Location was perfect, although hard to find the first time. Parking was conveniently located.
What are the cons of staying at Best Western Hotel Porto Antico?
It cost 28 euros per day but worth it Parking was only a block away. Hotel was difficult to find. Room key not working Parking difficult No view from window, air conditioning not working after Nov 1st Old, dated My Only Complaint Was That About 11PM And 4AM There Were NOISES Outside From Rowdy People And SUPPLY Truck Delivering Supplies. the A/C was fixed at nothing below 23 celsius because of the “winter”; it was 10/31 and I was with just a T-shirt outside… the elevator is very small. The room is Basic with capital B; don’t expect a cozy room… Absolutely nothing. Doors aren't soundproof and airco was kind of noisy. The view - only into a backyard. The coffee at breakfast was not very nice. Personnel would however, make you a cuppa of good coffee. The hotel is fairly difficult to find,up a very narrow street with poor sign-posting Too much expensive It’s all a bit bare and basic. nothing special Old looking Bathroom very small, shower cubicle tiny. Room was pretty basic and a little lacking in natural light - but considering the location and the very reasonable price, that was to be expected. The local council gave permission to a restaurant over the road to place tables outside of the hotel. Even the ground floor windows had tables against the glass. It was so loud however the time Very small shower, could not get out of the way of water. Could not open steel shutters so felt like a prison. Room advertised as a king, was not a king bed. Front desk was good enough to turn temp down to 20 but room barely cooled off. Thin walls. I could hear the next room use toilet and flush. Minibar turned off when not in room so beverages warm wen you get back after a day of touring. Television had no subtitles and nothing but Italian tv. So unless you spoke Italian , useless. Since this property was built for tourists seems dumb. Overall, this was a poor value for the price. parking is a challenge I booked a Superior King room and found out after checking in that there's no difference in size than a standard double. Not happy at all. Because it was through Booking.com they said there's nothing they can do. Feeling a bit ripped off. I don't mind what I pay so long as I get what was advertised- extra large bed. The room was tiny, the bathroom almost unusable it was so small. Stayed 3 nights and it was way too small for 2 people, luggage etc. for 3 nights. The shower cubicle ridiculous. there was a small puddle of water near the window not sure how it was caused by but i cleaned it up anyway. You can't reach the hotel entrance by car (ZTL) and you need to pay for the parking. However there is a discount for hotel guests. And it's not too far. The air condition was not good. We liked everything. Size of the room for our family (5 people) was great. The only disappointment was when we asked if the hotel had ice and the front desk lady said “NO” (rudely! I mean, we were asking for ice which probably the hotel had for sure). Had to go across the street to ask at a restaurant. The hotel felt more like a hospital rather than a hotel it had no character at all. The staff had no personality they made you feel like they didn’t want you there. Would definable never stay at this hotel again
