The hotel was new, rooms were big, staff was helpfull The hotel is new and has great potential but still allot of things are miising. Very hard to find the hotel, no signs! Breakfast is very poor in selection. The spa was very beutifull but not clean.
great location beautiful scenery relaxation
Very warm welcome, room fine. Location (after Mont Blanc tunnel) ideal for travelers heading for central Italy from Cherbourg. Pet friendly: of particular value to us because we were traveling with a cat. Ease of making a reservation for our return journey to Cherbourg in September. It is a pity (see about cat) that there is so much construction work around the hotel that encroaches on the grounds.
excellent staff, good sized room, well designed and clean hotel, good breakfast. Access to the underground car park could be better organised and signed
The room was a good size and comfortable Unenthusiastic welcome as reception - limited restaurant menu - food average quality
IT'S ALL REALLY GOOD Maybe the swimming pool could be enlarged a little bit, and the hotel, even if it's really beautiful, could seem a little expensive
Clean rooms, pleasant staff and good location to access the gondolo for Pila. Also very nice to get back to hotel after a hard days sking and chill out in the warm waters of the pool and jacuzzi.
Very stylish and cosy hotel. Exceptional architecture.
THe excellent waiter. Closing the pool at 8 p.m. seems restrictive.
Very helpful staff, clean, calm enviroment, plenty of public lounge space, good sized rooms. As we were staying for 7 nights we were upgraded which made a real difference to our stay and was a welcomed gesture. There is building going on adjacent to the hotel which spoilt our view. This will impact on the view of many rooms. The breakfasts were truly awful and not what we expect from a 4 star hotel though they improved slightly towards the end of our stay.
Secure free underground garage. Super room. Good food and service. Needs a bigger sign on the main road as it is set back and easy to miss. Bathroom was a triumph of design over practicality. However it was spotlessly clean and large.
A nice hotel, parking was actually free, not the 8 Euros advertised, clean and tidy quite large room Jacuzi was cold so not what I expected, a good 15 min walk to the town centre, a nice hotel, but just not 4 star quality. only 1 person on the reception, happy to do thier job but not over friendly, and the room faced the train line a few meters away, so was quite noisy at night. Still, a "nice" hotel, nothing special.
Hotel was clean and warm and staff were friendly. Location was further out of the town than expected. Breakfast service was slow and frustrating - kept running out of clean tables, bowls, cutlery, food on the buffet.
good for the overnight stop we required, excellent views of Aosta valley, could see it as excellent for skiers as next to ski-lift station difficult to find as 9km up hairpins from Gressan village
Terrrific views, super staff
As we were only there one night we only saw the old town and surrounds, Gressan countryside, and went up to Mt Pila and walked. OK for such a short visit.
Ideal location, very clean and tidy. Lovely rooms accomodation very spacious and central to the village. Lovely scenery and views.
The interior design of the room as well as furniture was great, and all the electronic devices were good. The location was quite good, though the road next to the appartment brought some traffic noise. The personnel didn't speak english, and there were no english brochures about the Aosta Valley. The traffic noise was disturbing at some times.
Au Petit Chevrot are serviced apartments, the rooms are very clean and confortable with a nice view over the mountains and close to the city center
Spacious apartment, very well appointed and with very good heating which kept us warm and cosy as it was very cold outside, Very near Aosta and the motorway - a good choice for a long stay or overnight stop traveling through the alps Nothing
The apartments are well appointed and comfortable also within 5 minutes driving distance of downtown Aosta. As mentioned by previous visitors it is close to the road, however, it is neither intolerable nor intrusive.
Very nice and clean flat. The kitchen was very well equiped. Very friendly staff. Good place to stay to discover the valley of Aosta. That we could not switch off the WIFI during night and when not used. You really need a car to have access to shops, restaurants and locations.
The apartment is really very nice and comfortable. The design is warm, the rooms are big, and you have there everything you need to spend a beautiful time. The heater was over and it was not possible to turn it on (according to what the housekeeper said). The rooms were very cold and that made the stay a bit unpleasant.
These are well-designed and well-equipped apartments on the outskirts of Aosta. Both Aosta town centre and the mountains are only a short drive away. The owners are friendly and helpful. The internet connection was flaky and never worked properly.
Nothing I change to another Hotel in next day, The Hotel was very bad! It is more like Hospital... I don't recommend it, better to stay in home:)
The closeness of the hotel to the ski lifts the morning buffet was not all that good
Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was just huge. That was a nice surprise from 3 star hotel :) Helpfull personal and the most important: just few steps from the slopes,Ice ring and all the restorans, bars and shop with farmacy.I just liked Hotel Pila 2000. 1. The brekfast on my opinion could be better...Everyday the same food, just a cheese, salami, bread, cereals. For a first or second day it's fine, but after you just get bored of this selection. 2. Ski room is open all day and they close it in the evening, but there are no security or anything to lock your ski or board,so everyone could come and take your ski or board.
The Hotel Diana is modern, clean and well-situated. The staff is attentive. The price is reasonable. Our stay was perfect.
Comfortable room, very helpful staff, high quality dining. Not a wide choice of dishes on the menu.
welcoming ad more or less what we expected A bit far out from the town
Nice decoration, hotel, breakfast, service, clean room. Just 5 min by car to the Pila-Aosta ropeway (cabinovia) and to the city. Nice garden in a nice residential area. Free parking of the hotel.
A comfortable modern hotel, situated some distance from the town of Aosta on the other site of the motorway. Very peaceful, on-site restaurant and bar. Rather difficult to locate. A GPS or much patience is required.
Loved the hotel from the moment we walked in and had a nice reception. Rooms were well appointed with the most enormous beds. Fabulous views from the windows Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for some essential work but the buffet breakfast was great.
Convenient location for transit, next to highway. Large room, clean. Very unpersonal look and feel. Very average breakfast. Noisy area (highway, aerodrome), opening a window is not an option. I wanted to work a few hours and the wifi was not working ("we had heavy rains 2 days ago...").
Visited Aosta and it was beautiful.
Found hotel was not what it use to be and has changed ownership staff not interested in customers needsnothing else to say poor everything
we had problem to find the hotel, the gps didnt find the adress
They claim that they have wifi in the rooms, but they do not.
I liked the location and price. The continental breakfast was very nice. The room was nice and clean. The air conditioning was a bonus, even though the weather was pleasant. I would stay here again. The only thing that I did not like was the placement of the shower plumbing. The shower space was small, and the controls for the hot/cold water reduced the available space.
Poor location on very noisy road across from steel factory. Traffic and people noise until past midnight. Did not have elevator. Breakfast poor. Would rate as 6.5.
good location for town center, easy access to Valle D'Aosta, nice cheap and cheerful hotel.
Breakfast only fair,no fresh fuit, cofee out of machine
Satisfied with the service and the people who worked in the hotel.Recommended
the staff the room and location
Peace and quiet People judge by appearances, I felt I wasn't the type of client they were looking for but I don't care what people think. They get on with their perceptions, I get on with my life.
Good location for train and bus stations and not far to centre. Poor breakfast.
Near to lovely town. Pleasant hotel. No
Parking available. No elevators to help carry heavy luggage.
small, friendly and safe. Helpful staff, central location for driving around valle d'aosta. Parking is within the hotel yard adn free. not really, however the hotel is detached from the main town so there is not much to do in the evening, if you still have the energy !
beautiful locatation, very helpful staff, great breakfast, would stay again
clean, friendly staff, good position to visit the town center.
tranquility and courtesy
Very friendly staff. Good location with parking for people with their own transport. Well organised, clean tidy and spacious room. Near a road but little traffic and little noise. Nothing really, we would and will return again.
Very friendly people, expensive to get there expensive tolls.
it was very close to transport; it was clean and quiet; always felt welcome douring my stay
Staff were very cheerful and helpful, especially in the breakfast room. View of the mountains from the bedroom was fantastic. Maybe a little bit pricy, but the town does not seem to have many cheaper alternatives
friendly and helpful desk clerks. great breakfast. and wonderful location. thanks. no
Central location in Aosta, within walking distance of all major sights within the town. Room was spacious. Was a little expensive for a fairly basic room.
Great location, staff, price and breakfast. Comfortable, clean hotel.
Very friendly reception and breakfast staff.
Excellent staff, V. helpful and pleasant. Central position close to railway/bus station which was useful for me as I arrived by train and departed by bus. Yes, I do not like being charged to link to wi-fi with my own laptop. This service should be offered free to hotel guests using their own laptops.
The location was very good, close to the shopping area of Aosta and the train/bus stations. We were 3 adults, and we were given a quadruple room, which was basically 2 connected rooms, which were comfortable. The lady at the reception was very helpful and gave a lot of tourist info. Breakfast was good, with a little variety, but not much compared to some other hotels in Italy. The view from the room was amazing. There was no air-conditioning and so we had to keep the window open at night. The street below had a lot of traffic and pedestrians, even until the early hours of the morning, so sleep was very disturbed. The gentleman at the reception is a bit rude and does not try to understand English.
Close to city centre, clean and warm, freindly staff.
Staff was very nice. Friendly and helpful. There was a lot of street noise even though this was not a large city. Noisy tourists talking loudly in the street late at night.
