Excellent location - right on the promenade and near the train station.
location in dowtown Gstaad, cleanliness of the room and kindness of the reception staff
the single room was very clean but small, though it was all right for one person to stay in. the hotel is located in the very centre of Gstaad, on the main shopping street, just 3 minutes walk form the railway station. decent price. friendly hotel staff.
Very convenient location. Comfortable restaurant. Friendly staff.
Breakfast selection a bit limited.
hot air ballooning
Better choice of food at breakfast, by paying more if necessary
Food was good but the restaurant was very stark; no atmosphere. The room was uncomfortably warm and I was unable to adjust the radiator.
Single rooms are small and the showers were so small it was only just possible to shower. Larger people would have a big problem!
I thought the room was very confortable and it was indicitive of the swiss mountain style. The view was quite nice as we had a balcony on the front of the hotel.
Perfect location at center of the Gstaad.
Very convenient, close to train station. Excellent hotel. Definitely worth a second visit.
The hotel is in the best position possible, right in the center of the famous 'promenade' much better than some of the more expensive hotels. The hotel even though only three star, was full of affluent people during Easter period when I was there, among them an English lord and family.
