Pros: The equipment/plane was OK. Not the newest, but decent. The crew seemed good too.
Cons: The middle east to India flights often carry a lot of the blue collared workers who only know their regional languages and usually do not know English or Arabic. For some reason Gulf Air refuses to provide in-flight instructions in the regional language of the destination location. As a result, a lot of the customers do not understand how to behave and the flight attendants have to use force/rude behavior to help them understand. In such cases, the customers are also to blame. But I think a lot of the confusion could be handled better if they would get at least one flight attendant to communicate and make announcements in the regional language of the destination, as most other airlines do.
