My room was probably an exception but it felt like a fire trap. Also it was extremely poor in its amenities, considering the prize.
Excellent location in the middle of Morlaix (but probably difficult to find parking for car drivers). Breakfast was very basic.
Central location in great medieval town
Excellent location in centre of lovely town. Very accommodating staff made room for our bikes. Slightly odd mix of decor but our room was very comfortable with a lovely view of the viaduct. Breakfast is plentiful if not very exciting and reasonably good value. Nothing
the bed and the bath the countryside view
Room quite nice but no AC. A little hard to access some rooms with Buggies/small children (small lift and lots of stairs) Room nice, Bathroom clean but a little basic.
I have known this hotel for ten years. It is old -fashioned but excellent. I recommend it to those who liked the old France. You have to use public parking nearbye.
in the centre of town. In the question below about guest reviews, I do not recall reading any so I cannot answer the question. traffic noise - frightful.
Very comfortable room, good breakfast in very attractive room with olde worlde charm. Excellent staff & welcoming entrance hall
convenient location no parking
too long waiting to pay and leave, otherwise no faults. the stairs,
Costs of cold drinks on a hot day.
Good chef good food. Second receptionist much more helpful than the one on arrival. Putting an elderly couple on second floor. No lifts.
Cheap, medium comfortable place for stay on one night during trip around country. Large commercial center nearby. Easy access from the autostrada/ Wi-Fi was not working.
We always know what we are getting at Campanile Hotels, and it is ideal for us as we have two dogs and this is not problem. Nothing
I liked the design of the hotel, where the doors of the rooms opened onto a walkway and the open air; I liked the shape and style of the room; I liked the coffee, tea and kettle provided. Nothing!
Convenient place on the journey, good value for money The rooms had a slight smell of tobacco
The convenience for the cross-channel ferry. Close proximity to Morlaix centre ville. Bath rather small for a tall person.
Parking available. Convenient to town centre and restaurants. None
location, clean, friendly staff, value for money no
The only plus of this hotel is its location close to the town centre (and good restaurants) and the beautiful, sunny breakfast room overlooking the walled garden. Still breakfast was more expensive than on our www.booking.com confirmation email. When we pointed this out (in fluent French) it was met with a shrug of the shoulders, that it was a mistake! During our 3-day stay we had to make do with: no bedside tables, no mirrors in bedroom. Bathroom had no electric sockets, no hairdryer - thus blow drying with own travel hairdryer in bedroom without benefit of a single mirror. Bathroom had no shower curtain, no hooks to hang wet towels on. Shower head is a cheap plastic construction from which a trickle of water flowed. Water temperature varied with weather - hot on hot days and on a cold day only about 37C. Toilet paper was never refilled, nor was there a "do not disturb" sign to use on the door, which meant that the male cleaner entered room with his key while I was in the bathroom at 9h30 in the morning. No lift.
the staff were welcoming and happy to let the dog stay also.
Ease of access to Brittany Ferries. The hotel was OK for an overnight stop, with easy parking etc. However, I was not impressed by a ground floor room, or lift not being available for my 89 year old mother, dedspite my early booking and prior request. Also, I was not impressed by being directed to an expensive resturant when what we wanted was a light meal at the end of a long day travelling. . Getting my mother to and from the resturant made it didfficult to vote with our feet and we ended up paying nearly 200 Euro for three meals that were OK, but too fusy for my taste.
Central to the town but quiet Rooms very simply furnished - although acceptable
Close to Roscoff; easy access to ongoing routes; excellent breakfast Access to the hotel was difficult (due mainly to local road closures) but also inadequate signage leading into the village (and we used sat nav!); offroad parking was very close to the road and not as secure as was indicated by the website
nice building/gqrden there was no restaurant as advertised
Quiet, comfortable and clean Excellent breakfast Inadequate hot water supply in room No facilities offered for drying wet clothes
Stop over for just one night but enjoyed the lovely old St Pol de Leon walkabout in the evening Third bed in room was only a pull out stored under the main bed and as we knew no restaurant
Very friendly staff, clean, well maintained accommodation plenty of hot water and good breakfast, excellennt value for money.
We received a very warm welcome from the lady and gentleman who run this hotel. We really enjoyed their breakfast too! We were given lots of information when we arrived as to where to find somewhere to eat that evening and were not disappointed with the choice. The situation was very pretty and only a very short walk from the main town, shops and old part of Morlaix. No complaint bar being in a small room in the eaves (small window in sloping roof) on 3rd floor with no lift, but our bags were carried for us and it was a last minute booking at a reasonable rate, so .... top floor it was (smile). None
Value for money, helpful, efficient staff
Close to centre of Morlaix, reasonable price, nearby street parking
friendiy staff good breakfast very clean we will go back
Great location - lovely views. Cheap, so very basic and no lift. Made a mistake with our booking, admitted the error and gave us a second room free of charge.
The attention and friendliness of the staff. We have been before and are always made very welcome
Fairly basic rooms, good location. Friendly staff Paper-thin walls. No tea/coffee facilities in room.
Thoughtful, helpful staff. Comfortable, clean room. No complaints
The hotel manager was extremely helpful and spoke fluent english
Its location is ideal when using the Roscoff ferry being just 20 minutes from the port. The hotel is very well managed, has good facilities, excellent food and friendly staff. we have stayed at this hotel on three occasions and will use it again when in the area. Absolutely no complaints
New hotel None
location for port of roscoff, pool etc were very relaxing. clean and tidy hotel. choice of menu did not inspire us to stay. nearby town had great food though.
Great restaurant with the hotel Next to the pig farm - this place stank - couldn't go out doors. Advised that it was like this when it rained.
the pool area though it was cool but neatly presented with gowns and slippers. location
Rooms excellent pool great for family and really helpful friendly staff
We received a very warm welcome and we were well looked after during our stay. The hotel and bedrooms are smart, clean and modern. Breakfast was excellent and relaxed. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the beach. Godd value for money and an ideal choice for those wanting comfortable accommodation combined with a a warm, friendly service. More wardrobe/hanging space would have been a bonus.
Central position, secure parking.
Very good position in town centre and very helpful English speaking staff.
Clean. Quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. None at all.
Clean and friendly. very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights on the way to a cottage I had borrowed so we could have a relaxed look around the area , which we really enjoyed. Highly recommend the hotel , will stay again hopefully.
The personal attention received from reception/proprietor. It was raining unexpectedly, she found us an umbrella. Such personal touches are what set aside small hotels. Children are fussy eaters. While the continental breakfast was fine for adults, it would have been useful to have some dry cereals, yoghurt or fruit for children. Only a small issue, but useful in keeping children happy.
Extremely pleasant welcome, clenaliness and comfort of rooms, excellent breakfast. Nothing
in middle of town 20 min walk to sea plenty of places to eat and drink ideal for nights on and off roscoff ferry parking for motorbikes
The proprietor came out to meet us in the car park and was very helpful about all aspects of our visit. We would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and if the occasion arose we would certainly stay there again. No
Made to feel welcome on arrival.
The hotel was central close at hand for restaurants we were only staying for for the one night and catching our ferry to england next morning the room which we had was clean basic but served our purpose Nothing
Its was a truely fantastic stay, it was our last night in France and finished our trip off wonderfully. The food was totally outstanding, the desserts were breath taking. All the staff were so friendly especially the owners they just couldnt do enough to help and change whatever we wanted eg with the meal, the breakfast. We shall certainly be returning but for more than one night next time. Even though the hotel was in a beautiful position, amazing food and good rooms we thought they were relatively reasonably priced and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in that area. I would like to thank the Auberge for such a pleasant stay - so thank you!! That we only stayed for one night!!!
Price/Quality relation. Outstanding restaurant. Normal breakfast. Not perfect wifi connection.
Interesting village and good walking around about. Hotel very quiet. Pillows very uncomfortable.
The excellent food and courteous staff. Tea/coffee in room would have been welcome
Very helpful with a young child and excellent at providing for her. W ecould not have felt more welcome
The personnel was really helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Wifi is for free by the way also.
The friendliness of the staff who put every effort into pleasing us; the incredibly good food and the lovely comfortable rooms. Thought breakfast price was a bit too expensive.
the staff were friendly and helpful, recomending a creperie as their restaurant was closed for the night (sunday)
Quiet, good bathroom facilities. Bed uncomfortable, staff unhelpful, no tea / coffee facilities in bedroom, restaurant and bar were closed (and only a creperie in the town was open for food that evening). On checking out I was over-charged. Eventually the staff sorted this out but I did not receive an apology.
We had a very pleasant stay in the Auberge Saint Thegonnec. The hotel is very well located, and the rooms are very nice. Very good value for money.
Very convenient for the ferry port. Good food in the restaurant. Breakfast very disappointing for 6 euros - advertised cereals, yogurts etc but were only provided with bread and a croissant. Had family room - decor quite tired very basic facilities and overlooked back yard. Tried to make changes to booking with a member of staff at reception but they had not been communicated to the other staff. Weren't made aware that there was a code for the car park.Ok for an overnight stay but wouldn't like to have stayed longer.
Quaint hotel, typically French, and quiet despite being woken up by the camel in the field opposite at 6.15am (from the travelling circus!).
Helpful and friendly staff. Good food served efficiently. No adequate parking facilities.
nice staff helpful
Close to train station, and a few minutes to city center
Friendly staff, good meals. Bed fell apart one night, was not repaired next morning, just simply propped back up on broken leg. TV stations limited to 3 and had terrible reception.
Having WFI connextion free of charge was very good. Bar prices were reasonable, Room needed updated carpet very shabby, but clean.
Acceptable value for money. No lift (four floors), room a bit small, horribly looking parking place.
Overall good . food very good Room o k but lacking power points No mirrors in room. Bedside lamp not working were not informed that the restaurant would be closed on the evening of arrival
just a stayover on route home
