Pros: Enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to downtown Fredericksburg. Clean, good value for price. Pet friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were very impressed with our suite. The kitchen was fully stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable! There is a sense of privacy and seclusion that we enjoyed. It was so much more pleasant than a regular motel experience. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. We sipped cups of coffee on our front porch while enjoying nature.
Cons: We were disappointed that the fireplace in our room was out of order, but we didn't really need it. It would be nice if the bedroom windows had curtains. They have very nice blinds, but there is quite a bit of street light they pours in through the closed blinds at night.

Pros: Good welcoming
Cons: A little bit of noise Coming from the street

7.4 Good
Pros: The room was clean and nicely decorated. Staff was excellent at handling our situation
Cons: Husband arrived at hotel before check-in time and asked if we could check in early if possible. We were told to come back at 3 and room would be available. We returned at 3:30 only to be told room not ready. We were exhausted and expressed our disappointment. Staff was kind enough to upgrade us and get us in a room immediately. We appreciated that sincerely but we noticed the housekeepers were still cleaning rooms after 5 pm. Just wonder whether better scheduling would help with this.

Pros: Amazing price and all the basics. The reception folks were very nice and the location was convenient.
Cons: Everything was a bit worn and tired (but so was I). I had been driving all day and I didn't need much more than a place to wash up and crash.
4.8 Okay
Pros: The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful
Cons: The curtains were see through, the rug in the room seemed filthy, the bed was not comfy and had a plastic cover on the mattress that made you sweat.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Pool
Cons: Thin walls, very noisy neighbors next door
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable room, clean.
Cons: Would have preferred to have the choice of first floor room only because there is not an elevator. However, I did make my second reservation at the last minute. My first reservation did allow for a first floor room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Bed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best included breakfast we have had in awhile! Really beautiful property, nicely landscaped, backing to a good sized creek. Our kids loved the pool and slide. Very comfortable rooms, local wine and beer for sale at the front desk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The outdoor facilities, heated pool and fireplace. The room was very comfortable. It had a nice breakfast, too.
7.1 Good
Pros: service was good
Cons: Facilities were aging and not well maintained (lights didn't work, TV didn't work, etc.)
3.6 Mediocre
Pros: It is located near the downtown.
Cons: We arrived to leftover food in the fridge and food in a dirty microwave. The bed was horrible, the people at the pool were loud well after midnight each night as well as people fighting loudly. We awoke our last morning to the pipes making loud noises and a stopped up toilet. The people who served and cleaned the breakfast were kind...but the food was horrible and we all ended up sick and no working restroom the last day made for a horrible last morning. It was way over priced for the type of hotel and not worth the money. We had to go home to "get rest".
8.0 Excellent
Pros: They have been remodeling the rooms and lobby. It looks great and is a great improvement to the photos of the facilities I had seen. Tons a large and property is dog friendly!
Cons: I heard of water pressure issues although we did not experience them. I would suggest asking about it when booking your room.
5.1 Okay
Pros: Na
Cons: I was frustrated with this hotel because I reserved a king suite next too the pool and paid $35 extra per night and when I arrived they told me the room was not available. Then I told them I had reserved it like that and was hoping they could help me out. The best they could do was a room with a king bed that was on the opposite side of the pool. ( not s suite, not pool side) The breakfast was also a joke. Hard boiled eggs, sausage links, pre packed cereal, and a mini pancake maker.
4.8 Okay
Pros: The location is excellent! The staff is excellent! The grounds are wonderful.
Cons: The room was in need of is in need of updating! The bed was hard, and the bathroom was not clean.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very courteous, informative staff who were eager to help us with any problems or questions we had. Very clean room. Good breakfast selection, more than just the standard dry good, non-perishable fare. Great pool and outdoor lounge with poolside TV. Very pretty grounds, right on the Baron Creek. And the conditioner left my hair very soft and tangle-free!
Cons: Breakfast was very crowded, but that's to be expected on Labor Day weekend when every hotel in the entire town is booked to capacity. The A/C in our room went out intermittently, but it got fixed and we were comped a night because of it without even having to ask.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: The pool area was nice. I think they used their money on the outside area. Should focus on their rooms.
Cons: Where do I start. Checked in to our mildew smelling, wet carpet room. Asked to change rooms, told they only had a handicap room left. Took it, not fit for handicap or not. Dirty, broken shower, leaky sink. Bathroom door broken at top and fixed with tape. So glad we were only there one night.

4.5 Okay
Pros: Big rooms. Convenient location.
Cons: Air conditioner did not work in June in Texas. Bad news!!! Never got cooler than 77 with thermostat set at 65. After trying to sleep in a warm stuffy room, they turned off the water in the morning for 30 minutes for some repair. I think the motel has outlived its facilities. Summer in Texas is way too hot to do without air conditioning. When I notified the front desk , they told me "just wait, it will get cooler". It didn't. Very disappointed.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Remodeled very nice. Downtown. Walk to shopping. Very clean. Nice staff
Cons: Little pricey. But not bad for the location.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great spot on Main Street Fredericksbug. Walk to darn near everything. Staff was great, asked for quiet room on ground floor and got one - 111 - and parked right in front of room. Older hotel (I stayed in it about 35 years ago) but adequately updated and comfortable beds. Hospitality coffee is good but breakfast is best found elsewhere.
Cons: Forgot to ask that they not put 4 kids in the room directly above. Coffee maker didn't work and spewed hot water all over.
6.5 Good
Pros: Heated pool Fantastic location continental breakfast very quite
Cons: Housekeeping - dirty band aid in bathroom! Liquid meds found in frig, glad our son didn't find it!
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is really good and within walking distance to everything on Main Street.
Cons: We arrived for breakfast at 9:00 am and there wasn't much food left. It was a continental breakfast with a waffle maker to cook your own. The waffle batter was empty and there were no staff members available or maintaining the area as guests came in and depleted the food. We ended up leaving without eating because there wasn't anything left by 9:00 am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy, clean and in a great location

6.0 Good
Pros: Staff friendly, walking distance to downtown, cost effective.
Cons: Mattress horrible, bathroom had hair in shower and on floor, keys didn't work second day so staff had to let you in rm each time you left.
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location was great and it was easy to walk to the city center. The room had everything you'd need for a small price. The staff was friendly.
Cons: The room wasn't ready at 2pm and it had a funny smell...
6.6 Good
Pros: I liked the pool. It was super clean. The room was clean and non-smoking really smelled non-smoking. Nothing creepy, nothing freaky, everyone was nice.
Cons: I didn't like that the bed springs were shot, and light bulbs were out.
6.2 Good
Pros: The staff was nice enough and accommodated my request at check-in for a first floor room with no problem.
Cons: Even at a low price and the simplest of accommodations, I would think that a Wyndham property would not have duck tape patching the carpet. Poor repair work of previous water damage over shower.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Simple, clean motel within walking distance of all the shops.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very accomdating and friendly. We met all the staff because we stayed 4 days. The location was wonderful with restaurants on both sides of the motel. It wasn't very nice weather because we visited in January and it rained a lot. We a walked to the restaurants near the motel in between the rain drops and didn't need to drive.
Cons: I wish it had Wi-Fi because I travel with an IPad.
3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable, bathtub was old and grungy, towels were worn and needed replacing, dead fly on the nightstand, lighting was poor, not enough food selections on the continental breakfast, cost was way too expensive for the poor quality of the facility, the air conditioning unit cycled on and off all night and interrupted our sleep
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing just a roof over ur head.
Cons: Mold in the bathroom, carpet torn and nasty, walls filthy with yellow stuff, coffee maker moldy, hairs in the towels, staff extremely rude and difficult to deal with about the issues!
4.0 Okay
Cons: Room smelled bad, beds were stained and caved in. Room was really humid and carpet felt damp and sticky. Lots of residue on showerhead. Not worth the price paid. And no hot tub as the description states.
6.5 Good
Pros: I really liked the price and the front desk clerk was very friendly.
Cons: There was hair in the shower and the bathroom was just not clean overall.
6.5 Good
Pros: Easy free parking Good location Decent price
Cons: Wifi didn't work very well..intermittent connection. Breakfast marginal
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: Rooms need a deep cleaning. Odd stains in bathtub and bathroom floor. Baseboards very dusty. Really in need of a thorough cleaning and updates. If another hotel was available I would have left.
