Pros: Hoffman Haus was the perfect place to get away for our honeymoon. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are immaculate and the staff are friendly. We also enjoyed the convenient location. Downtown was in walking distance.
Enjoy your visit to Fredericksburg with a stay at Hoffman Haus. Guests can indulge in deep-tissue massages, body wraps, or body scrubs. Rooms offer DVD players, microwaves, and free WiFi.
Pros: Enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to downtown Fredericksburg. Clean, good value for price. Pet friendly.
Pros: We were very impressed with our suite. The kitchen was fully stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable! There is a sense of privacy and seclusion that we enjoyed. It was so much more pleasant than a regular motel experience. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. We sipped cups of coffee on our front porch while enjoying nature.
Cons: We were disappointed that the fireplace in our room was out of order, but we didn't really need it.
It would be nice if the bedroom windows had curtains. They have very nice blinds, but there is quite a bit of street light they pours in through the closed blinds at night.
Pros: Good welcoming
Cons: A little bit of noise Coming from the street
Peach Tree Inn & Suites is a great choice for a stay in Fredericksburg. For a bit of exercise, you can visit the 24-hour fitness center or go for a swim in the outdoor pool. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with flat-screen TVs and free WiFi.
Cons: The bed that we had in our king room was easily the worst one I have ever slept on. Even my husband, who can sleep in a tank (literally) was uncomfortable. All we could feel was the mattress cover under the thin sheet and it stuck to us all night. Doesn't matter how nice a hotel...... if you can't sleep good, it ruins the entire stay.
Enjoy your visit to Fredericksburg with a stay at Inn On Barons Creek. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool and visit the spa to be pampered with massages, aromatherapy, or Ayurvedic treatments. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Front desk was not available upon arrival and check out. For arrival she was slow to the front desk. For check out she was on the phone and never came to the front desk to check me out so I just left the card on her desk.
Pros: Nice room. Close to everything. Nice staff
Pros: Very friendly staff, modern new rooms, and a attractive breakfast area.
Pros: nice and new great beds
Pros: Breakfast was outstanding...very clean...served with pride The room was large and spacious and the overall Was great...location was perfect for what weather Wanted to accomplish in Fredericksburg
Cons: At check-in we requested a room on the first Floor, we were assigned a room, given a Key and someone was already in that room, Had to be assigned another room on the 3rd Floor, first day washcloth was dirty...
Pros: The room was great for work
Cons: The breakfast was ok, should improve!
Pros: Great price and location. The buffet was good too.
Cons: Check in took a little long. The employee was kind but one of pur rooms was not ready.
Pros: The staff.
Pros: It was clean. The staff was friendly. We got our bed choice.
Cons: The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Not many choices.
Pros: Really huge and spotless clean room, tasty breakfast

Cons: Front desk staff were not helpful and more interested in reading their book. Water and plumbing issues were bad while there and no word or warning from management about problems.

Cons: I was frustrated with this hotel because I reserved a king suite next too the pool and paid $35 extra per night and when I arrived they told me the room was not available. Then I told them I had reserved it like that and was hoping they could help me out. The best they could do was a room with a king bed that was on the opposite side of the pool. ( not s suite, not pool side)
The breakfast was also a joke. Hard boiled eggs, sausage links, pre packed cereal, and a mini pancake maker.
Pros: They have been remodeling the rooms and lobby.
It looks great and is a great improvement to the photos of the facilities I had seen.
Tons a large and property is dog friendly!
Cons: I heard of water pressure issues although we did not experience them. I would suggest asking about it when booking your room.
Pros: Very comfortable room, clean.
Cons: Would have preferred to have the choice of first floor room only because there is not an elevator. However, I did make my second reservation at the last minute. My first reservation did allow for a first floor room.
Pros: The outdoor facilities, heated pool and fireplace. The room was very comfortable. It had a nice breakfast, too.
Pros: The pool area was nice. I think they used their money on the outside area. Should focus on their rooms.
Cons: Where do I start. Checked in to our mildew smelling, wet carpet room. Asked to change rooms, told they only had a handicap room left. Took it, not fit for handicap or not. Dirty, broken shower, leaky sink. Bathroom door broken at top and fixed with tape. So glad we were only there one night.
Pros: service was good
Cons: Facilities were aging and not well maintained (lights didn't work, TV didn't work, etc.)
Pros: The location is excellent! The staff is excellent! The grounds are wonderful.
Cons: The room was in need of is in need of updating! The bed was hard, and the bathroom was not clean.
Pros: Very courteous, informative staff who were eager to help us with any problems or questions we had. Very clean room. Good breakfast selection, more than just the standard dry good, non-perishable fare. Great pool and outdoor lounge with poolside TV. Very pretty grounds, right on the Baron Creek. And the conditioner left my hair very soft and tangle-free!
Cons: Breakfast was very crowded, but that's to be expected on Labor Day weekend when every hotel in the entire town is booked to capacity. The A/C in our room went out intermittently, but it got fixed and we were comped a night because of it without even having to ask.
Pros: It is located near the downtown.
Cons: We arrived to leftover food in the fridge and food in a dirty microwave. The bed was horrible, the people at the pool were loud well after midnight each night as well as people fighting loudly. We awoke our last morning to the pipes making loud noises and a stopped up toilet. The people who served and cleaned the breakfast were kind...but the food was horrible and we all ended up sick and no working restroom the last day made for a horrible last morning. It was way over priced for the type of hotel and not worth the money. We had to go home to "get rest".
Pros: When there was a problem they fixed it quickly.
Cons: It was more of a motel than anything. not worth the expensive price tag. Bathroom was dirty on arrival and light bulb was burned out the entire stay.
Cons: Thin walls, very noisy neighbors next door

Pros: American owner that was very friendly and all people that worked there was friendly and helpful
Pros: It was clean
Pros: Second time staying here and everything still on point. Rooms very clean. Comfy bed. All appliances in excellent working order. The facial cleansing towels are a nice touch. The owners are remarkably sweet people. We checked in on Thanks Giving and they had a complimentary lil dinner for the guests. There's also a complimentary breakfast featuring local baked goods, coffee, tea & orange juice. All in all a great experience. It's the best bang for your buck, and a super convenient location. We love this place and will never stay anywhere else :)
Cons: Not a thing
Pros: Super clean & excellent job on keeping room tidy. Shower pressure, temp, and drainage all perfect. Great location, just blocks from Main St and HEB. Really good Mexican restaurant right across the street which happens to also have a full bar. Room has flat screen TV with cable. Fridge and coffee maker were both in good working order. Didn't have to use micro or hairdyer. AC was nice n chill. Comfy bed better than the one at home. Overall everything exceeded our expectations and we're already plan a trip back. This is where we will stay again because we love love LOVE IT!
Cons: Can't really come up with a complaint other than the pool and hot tub could've been a little cleaner but given that we stayed towards the end of summer it's quite understandable
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our 2 year old loved the pool and hot tub.
Cons: We thought that the breakfast would be better (eggs, waffles, etc) but they just had pastries, cereal and weird flavors of oatmeal. There weren't any table to eat at either so we had to sit on couches and chairs while our 2 yr old stood at the coffee table and made a mess of the floor (sorry about that).
Pros: We did not hear any noise from either side of our room. That made our stay more private which gave it a much nicer feel.
Cons: We have just two small complaints. (Will not keep us from staying here again.)
One, the cleanliness could have been a little bit better in the bathroom as it looked like it had not been swepped. Two, when taking a shower, the water fluctuated from cold to almost scolding hot with no notice.
Pros: Really like the price and the retro look and feel of the place. The owners live on site and are very helpful.
Cons: The only thing that gave me any trouble were the electronics. Twice my key card would not open the door, the remote had a hard time turning the TV on and I picked up a malware program on the wifi. Other than that all was great
Cons: Not on main drag but close enough
Pros: The staff was very friendly, helpful. We asked for a rollaway twin bed for our daughter and they brought it immediately. Breakfast had great German pastries. Clean, great value, Texan owned and operated.
Cons: None. Great Hotel!

Cons: The TV would start up in a programing mode each time. The bathroom light only works when it wants to. Had to use the heat lamp to see in the bathroom.
Pros: The hotel is an older hotel that has been updated some. The beds are very comfortable. The room smelled fresh and the air conditioner had been turned on for us when we arrived . The manager was very nice and took time to answer our questions.
Cons: The entrance to the hotel gets blocked easily by people not understanding to move off the entrance to allow incoming traffic to get off the road. The handle of our bathroom sink was very hard to turn on. We let management know so they could fix it.
Pros: Everything about Sunset Inn was excellent !! The staff and maid service was always friendly and more than willing to do their best to make your stay the best it could be. Great location to downtown , hospital , schools , and conviences.
Cons: Personally I do not have a single bad word about to his motel. My stay was excellent.
Pros: The location. Close enough to walk to Main St. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Decent rooms for hotels age
Cons: Windows were dirty and as with insulated windows the vacuum seal had been compromised so window was filmy. Room was pretty clean (where guest could see) but behind dresser, nightstand and up against bed frame it needed to be cleaned.
Pros: Beds were great. Clean room (it did have a dehumdifier plastic bucket in it) hot water, refrigerator and microwave. A lot of value for what you pay.
Cons: As an older motel, it does not have enough electrical outlets.
Pros: I was very surprised how clean it was for the price. Most hotels in thus price range aren't that clean. I would definitely stay there again!!
Pros: The price! The bed was wonderful...slept great! Front desk staff was great!
Cons: Size but was warned about this and if you are staying just to sleep, it is great!
Pros: Loved the location. Friendly staff. Nice room.
Pros: Location and ground level design
Cons: Old fixtures in bathroom / bath
Pros: Awesome staff very friendly and helpful, definitely better than I expected it to be...will be my place of choice to stay whenever I'm in Fredricksburg
Pros: It was a very nice place to stay. Recommend highly.
Pros: Quite area but still close to all that you need !
Cons: Not a thing !
Enjoy your visit to Fredericksburg with a stay at Sunset Inn and Suites. Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out Sunset Grill, which serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast and lunch. Rooms feature bonuses like washers/dryers, refrigerators, and microwaves.
Pros: We travel with a small dog. Can rely on La Quinta to welcome and accommodate the entire family. There were several other families with dogs of all sizes. We were all welcome. Loved it.
Pros: Love that La Quinta is pet friendly and we can travel with the entire family!
Pros: The facility was clean, and well tended. Staff was great!
Cons: If you call a hot breakfast hard microwave biscuits and crock pot instant gravy, you don't know breakfast! the breakfast was mediocre at best, coffee was terrible!
Pros: The staff were very kind and professionals and not stuffy and terse like so many other places.
Cons: Elevator wait time was a bit long sometimes.
Pros: Hotel had everything needed for a quiet mini-vacation. Very clean, quiet, nice amenities including a washer/dryer & workout area, and a great breakfast area with many options for every family member. Close to Main Street shopping. Walking distance to Walmart for items needed/forgotten. Will definitely stay again!
Cons: Initial reception could be friendlier. But overall wouldn't change a thing!
Pros: It was clean and easy to find. Since it was Fredericksburg, the price was good. Breakfast was available and like many hotel breakfasts. Staff was friendly. It fulfilled our requirements nicely.
Cons: I had to look to find outlets to charge phones, etc. but it was hidden by the desk chair. There was no clock in the room so an available outlet near the nightstand would have been helpful so we could charge phones and look at them for the time.

Cons: The shower curtain was mounted such that any water that hits the curtain ends up on the floor. We had to mop up a lot of water, using most of the towels, after every shower. There was only one small trash can under the wet bar and none in the bathroom. One table lamp had a bad fluorescent bulb in it. The TV remote control's battery compartment hatch was broken, such that the batteries had to be manually held in place to use it. Why should a guest have to repeatedly call the front desk to report things that are broken or missing from the room? Why isn't all of that tended to prior to the guest's arrival? And lastly, they're using those cheap, daylight colored complact fluorescent bulbs in every lamp throughout the entire room and in the ceiling fixtures. I don't have a problem with CFLs as long as their color temperature is warm. I felt like I was sleeping at a bus stop.
Pros: We've stayed here several times and it's a great location, free breakfast and the staff is very friendly. The rooms we have stayed in (low 2s and 3s) are all very large and comfortable.
Cons: Make sure you stay on the top (3rd) floor in the back. The floors are less than soundproof and if you're on 1 or 2, you will hear the folks above you. The front rooms have balconies, but overlook the street and tend to be noisier. The only elevator is pretty slow so if this is critical for you, it might not be the best spot.
Pros: Good location but that's about it.
Cons: Very plain room. Bathroom door was broken.

Cons: This hotel is disgusting. I left and have 2 doctors notes regarding bed bug bites. I plan on persuing monetary compensation if I happened to bring them to my residence.

Pros: Great spot on Main Street Fredericksbug. Walk to darn near everything. Staff was great, asked for quiet room on ground floor and got one - 111 - and parked right in front of room. Older hotel (I stayed in it about 35 years ago) but adequately updated and comfortable beds. Hospitality coffee is good but breakfast is best found elsewhere.
Cons: Forgot to ask that they not put 4 kids in the room directly above. Coffee maker didn't work and spewed hot water all over.
Pros: Big rooms. Convenient location.
Cons: Air conditioner did not work in June in Texas. Bad news!!! Never got cooler than 77 with thermostat set at 65. After trying to sleep in a warm stuffy room, they turned off the water in the morning for 30 minutes for some repair. I think the motel has outlived its facilities. Summer in Texas is way too hot to do without air conditioning. When I notified the front desk , they told me "just wait, it will get cooler". It didn't.
Pros: Heated pool
Cons: Housekeeping - dirty band aid in bathroom! Liquid meds found in frig, glad our son didn't find it!
Pros: Remodeled very nice. Downtown. Walk to shopping. Very clean. Nice staff
Cons: Little pricey. But not bad for the location.
Enjoy your visit to Fredericksburg with a stay at Sunday House Inn and Suites. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking.
Pros: Front desk staff were friendly, responsible and helpful. They honored a lower quoted price and called immediately to let us know we had left something in the room.
Pros: Amazing price and all the basics. The reception folks were very nice and the location was convenient.
Cons: Everything was a bit worn and tired (but so was I). I had been driving all day and I didn't need much more than a place to wash up and crash.
Pros: The mattress
Cons: Size of the rooms, no phone, no "built-in" closets - NONE in the John Wayne room.

Pros: - room seemed clean
- A/C was very cold
- vending was reasonable
- toilet flushed very well
- a lot of TV channels (Dish?)
Cons: - price was high but all the hotels are a bit high in Fredericksburg
- only one entrance/exit to the parking lot
- small parking lot
- no bell at front desk to notify hospitality attendant
- thin walls/doors; could hear the next room over and the hall noise
- vending machine wasn't fully, or even mostly, stocked
- staff was compliant but not very friendly
- bed was okay but not the most comfortable
- maybe not a negative but kinda weird that there were no enclosed drawers in the room
Cons: TV did not get orogramming. Atmosphere was noisy
