7.5 Good
Pros: The location was excellent. The house was very well decorated and We (my mother and I) enjoyed the back porch.
Cons: We were suppose to have a quiche for breakfast and it was NOT there to eat. So we had to eat at Kirks. Should have had more drinks to chose from maybe some yogurt and more fruits. It was disappointing to not enjoy our breakfast on the back porch. They keypad did not work to our room and we had to use a key. We had to share a bathroom with another guest...

7.0 Good
Pros: Bed and pillows were comfortable. My request to be on lower floor and near exit for my father was provided.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and that it was rustic and cozy. Also staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Would stay again for sure!
Cons: Only stayed one night so really can’t say anything negative.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy check in and out. Comfortable beds and clean room. It’s a good halfway point from Myrtle Beach to Akron. There was coffee in the rooms and at the front desk in the am. I was also able to take a little breakfast with me.
Cons: The ac wasn’t on in my room when I arrived but it didn’t take long for it to cool down.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s beautiful. The rims were clean, price was right and staff is so nice.
4.3 Okay
Pros: The shower, the water pressure was really good. The bed was comfy but not great.
Cons: Lack of electrical outlets. No vending or ice machines. No wifi. And room smelled of cat urine or animal urine and was supposed to be a no pet facility.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: They have a beautiful deck looking out onto the river below. We enjoyed it. Plus there are fire pits, karaoke and a restaurant.
Cons: The rug is overdue for changing out in our room.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: No breakfast was served
Cons: When we arrived the staff member was on the phone for ten minutes on a business call. Never acknowledge our arrival. I understand this is a small very informal operation but just an acknowledgement of a guest arrival. " I'll be with you soon" or something would have been helpful. The food in the restaurant was great and priced right. Beautiful grounds, room was ok and price was right. Would return to the facility.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Nice scenic location, clean rooms, friendly staff. Music on Saturday night
Cons: No alarm clock in room, but not a dealbreaker. Noise from neighboring bathroom does filter through wall. Only 1 outlet accessible by bed,and 1 outlet by refrigerator.
8.0 Excellent

Cons: First day wifi was out, luckily it was repaired the next day Airco was very noisy
7.0 Good
Pros: Location. It is 1-min drive to the site.
Cons: A little old.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: It was close to the interstate. Be picky my sisters room was very nice. Ours on the other hand sucked!
Cons: Our room was very damp and had a very strong order (mildew). My sisters room was very nice.It had updated decor and nice mattresses. Our had very old 6 matresses. We asked for a different room but were told none were available. Restaurant was close night
7.5 Good
Pros: The outdoor spaces were wonderful. There is a large deck with patio lights and plenty of tables and chairs. There is a great fire pit in a gravel area so it's all safe and they provide the wood. The other 2 fireplaces are gas. The small lake behind the lodge makes for a peaceful view. They have paddle boats you can check out which we fished from them easily. The location is right next to Winterplace and just off I-77. There is a dollar store very close and gas station which should supply most of what someone would need. The rooms have a microwave and mini fridge which work fine.
Cons: The deck area could be cleaned more often. Just a wipe down with a rag so tables aren't sticky would be nice. The walk area down to the lake is not good at all. Anyone with some age or painful joints wouldn't be able to get down there. If you do the area is very small. You can walk down to another part of the lake which again is a decent walk and you have more room there where the paddle boats are kept. Honestly I'd drive there. The staff only told me the paddle boats were on the right side of the bar. I couldn't find them and asked kitchen staff I saw on break - they didn't know. So you have to go to the other bunkhouse building and down that road to get to them. The rooms are pretty old like Days Inn older. Rooms are very basic with nothing to be excited about. Things were in need of repair - door handle fell off a corridor door. Musty Smell throughout. Again the outside is what you pay for it's nice and the room is a place to sleep for the night that's all. When you book we did 2 rooms and upon arrival we were told they only had one room left. After panicking we realized they do not put the reservations under one name even though I booked both rooms - it was under each room name. So we freaked for nothing after all. Wished desk staff would know to mention this to guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was nice, restaurant was great! Food, patio & deck was laid back & Friendly!
Cons: Not really anything! We were satisfied with our stay. We will use again next time we come to the area.
