Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean. Breakfast options were good, waffles were great!
Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Attractively decorated room. Very clean. Nice details, such as bedspread and pillows. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which was kept clean and freshly stocked.
The room was comfortable & the suite was a nice bonus with the additional space. Everything I expected was in the room.
It was extremely quiet and PC availabilty to print out boarding pass no complaints
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was comfortable. They had a problem with the alarm system. It kept going off and if there were ever a real emergency, you can't miss it. The alarm in the room is deafening. Fire department came and cleared the building, but it kept going off, so people just started assuming it was false. They eventually got it fixed before normal sleeping hours. Thank goodness.
Nice quite room, staff was great
Top notch hotel. Always clean and comfortable. Staff was very courteous and helpful. I will be staying here again. Pillow selection is limited. All of them are thick and fluffy. I prefer a flatter, firmer pillow since I sleep on my stomach. I made do, but it would have been nice.
Enjoyed a multi-day stay in this charming, friendly and well-situated inn. My 83 yr old mother and I received excellent service from a server who remembered our breakfast order each morning and gave us tips on area attractions. Front desk staff was unfailingly friendly. The lovely front porch, breakfast area, bar, rear veranda, party room and pool areas are attractive and welcoming. There is a pleasant park within walking distance. The inn hosted a wedding during our stay, and is well suited to events. Our room wasn't stellar, but was clean and overall acceptable (and had good coffee for the in-room coffeemaker, which doesn't always happen). In this era of corporate chains, I was glad to patronize an alternative with history and character. Owners are making a number of upgrades, so I look forward to a future stay to see the progress. The inn is being remodeled so some people might find it a bit off-putting to have an older room or not have use of the lounge. Not a big deal for me. I get tired of the corporate chains. As to the reviewer who complained about the service staff, we observed staff being stretched a little thin during the busy Sunday brunch time, but a bit of patience and walking over to a server to ask for assistance worked wonders. The dining area doesn't have a check in station, so the servers have to multi-task, watching the door and serving customers.
It was affordable and close to the area I was visiting. The staff was great, and they allow you to cancel a reservation up to 6pm on day of check-in. I didn't cancel, but with changing plans it was comforting to know I could. It was a little noisy outside my room, the location of my room was near offices and I could hear staff and patrons at night. There could be better outlets, or a charging area on the night stand, having more than one item to charge and use was challenging.
Good location in the middle of Aurora. Dank musty room. Construction in progress. Had bottom level room. It felt and smelled like it had been flooded. They had one very small dehumidifier in the hall for the entire floor. They needed a couple in the hallway and one in each room to dry it out. Went to the restaurant for dinner nobody sat us. Walked to the bar to ask if it was self seating. She said seat yourself and somebody will find you. They didn't. Saw staff walking around the far end of the restaurant and know they saw us but nobody came over. After we walked out, I asked the man at the front desk if the restaurant had table service. He said usually to just go sit down and wait. I said that ship had sailed. When I first checked in they said there were no more rooms at the in but it was ok because they booked me a room in a hotel in a nearby town. I said that was unacceptable because my reunion had events scheduled at the hotel that weekend. After a while they came up with a room. That was why I couldn't get a room other than they ground floor. Beds were saggy and pillows were flat. Overall terrible experience.
Couldn't beat it for the price. Clean and comfortable. It felt like home.
Location fit my needs The control panel on the heater/air unit was filthy as was the telephone. . The hotel needs to take each room and deep clean.
Breakfast took a very long time because they only had 1 toaster. They should look at getting another toaster, because the line was long for people waiting to toast something.
The rooms were perfect. A small but fully equipped kitchen (apt. size refrigerator, ceramic plates, real drinking glasses, stainless silverware, a few pans, dishwasher, 2 burner electric stove, microwave). Nice seating area with sofa (also pull out bed, but we didn't use) and chair, as well as a desk and chair, and ottoman w/ 2 side table. Plenty of lights throughout, ceiling and lamps. Bed comfy. Quiet place. Nice breakfast, and nice area to sit outside and eat (weather permitting). Good location. Convenient. MAID SERVICE AWFUL/Non-existent. We are neat people, we do not trash our rooms. Here's our experience: Day 1: We left a $5 tip for maid. We were gone all day, came back around 10 pm, when we entered the "bedroom" we noticed the pillows were in disarray, we shrugged off. But the bed had not been properly made. When we drew the coverlet down, we saw all the sheets were wrinkled and not smoothed out, they were just pushed around and it looked like we had just gotten out of bed and the maid simply pulled the coverlet over top to "make the bed". The dirty towels were removed, garbage was emptied, new towels in place. We let it pass. Not wanting to make waves. Day 2: No tip! We made our own bed (You're welcome). We were gone all day until about 11 pm. Before leaving in a.m. we left dirty towels on floor near bathroom sink, all together to make it easy for cleaning. All is well, had clean towels and trash had been emptied. We're happy. Day 3: No tip! We made our own bed, but left the coverlet off the bed to see if the maid would fix. We left dirty towels on bathroom floor as we had day before. Had some dirty trash from some takeout. We arrive back at our room about 9:30 p.m. IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED! WHAT?! Dirty towels still on bathroom floor. Trash in living/kitchen area still full. Trash in bathroom still not emptied. Coverlet in same position as when we left. We went to front desk. NICELY reported this. Desk clerk said it was her "third" complaint about the maid service that night. She said she would have her manager credit us one night, but could not provide any written documentation to verify. Desk clerk was nice, but I'm skeptical about getting the credit. There are several other extended stay hotels in the area, so not knowing your room is going to be cleaned, or even if it was cleaned PRIOR to our arrival is a HUGE problem for us. Also, on Day 3, when we arrived around 9:30 pm (on a Sunday night) we parked on side towards back, to the entrance nearest our room. There was a large group of people outside standing around a car and they were smoking marijuana (you could smell it). That did not make us feel safe.
Nice clean room with comfortable bed. There were too many punks running around the hotel common areas making cacophonous sounds where security should have settled them down, sent them back to their rooms or kicked them out of the hotel. It was impossibly to sleep in this environment.
I did not like it at all. It was damp and dirty and chilly. The covering was peeling off of the walls. The bathroom walls were all messed up. The jacuzzi tub in the room was too filthy to use. Ditto the 'indoor pool' and 'spa'. Cleanliness was questionable throughout.
Nice staff, comfy beds, good breakfast, right off the interstate.
Friendly front desk staff Needs a renovation desperately. Chlorine issue with having to leave pool area. Kids in distress from the chemical. Very frightening
Desk staff was very friendly and willing to offer suggestions for nearby restaurants. The morning breakfast menu was exceptional and delicious. Room was clean and comfortable! Temperature in the Whirlpool was several degrees hotter than it comfortably needed to be and the pool was a couple degrees cooler than was comfortable.
The workers very nice and helpful! Great customer service! The whirlpool tub in my room could have been better cleaned!

mostly clean, comfortable, great deal for the money. shower liner was dirty with mildew, no toothpaste at the front desk.
price a little hard to find
Easy in, easy out, great price, a haven after almost having to sleep in a flooded tent. Clean, had everything we needed, and the kids didn't want to leave. The sheets are a little coarse but not to the point it's a problem.
nice staff Dirty
Breakfast was good Room mirrors need cleaning. TV did not work well
Everything was perfect...especially great staff member...best friendly service experienced...over all great
It is in an ideal location for our trip to Penna.so we have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the Breakfast hit the Spot before we hit the road. Thanks Holiday Inn Express Streetsboro Ohio
Best hotel we have ever stayed in in that area. We could not be happier. The room was pristine with plenty of we are home and great bedding. Lots of channels to pick from on TV, the bathroom was great. Staff also very friendly and helpful. Bathroom light a bit dark for applying makeup. Jets in tub had mildew or grime on them - a bit of spritzed bleach or natural ingredients inWill do mildew remover from fuller brush would instantly clear it up.
We stayed for one night, front desk staff very nice and had everything waiting, so check in was a breeze. I went straight to the pool, which is open from 7am-10pm and although some reviews at tripadvisor.com complained about the pool, I found it to be very clean and large, all windows surrounding it, so it was bright. Rooms had a mini-refrigerator and microwave which came in handy, free wireless internet and plenty of pillows (labeled soft or medium right on the pillowcase). Breakfast was outstanding! A buffet is served in a room on the main floor, everything from cold cereals, fresh fruit, to omelets and biscuits and gravy! My only wish for this property is that the fitness room be improved. The only thing working was a treadmill - the other 2 pieces of equipment weren't operable.

We travel from New York to Chicago by car often. We are always looking for a good, clean suite to stay where kids can swim as well. We found our forever mid-stop! Btw, hotel employee from the dining hall is one of the kindest person I met!
real food at the breakfast. too many places have over chemical lized items for breakfast which have too many things that myself and other people are allergic to. They had real bacon with no chemicals and real oatmea with nuts and cinnamon and sugar it was
clean with comfy bed. location was much further away than indicated!!!!
It is conveniently located right off I-80. The staff was helpful in telling us about local eateries. Our room was always clean, and the breakfasts were great. There was a variety of food for breakfast, and the area was always neat and clean.
Breakfast variety Couldn't find vending machine with water.
It was clean and a convenient location. Also it offered a hot breakfast. Water stains on ceiling
Super cheap and very nice. Not like a hotel 6 at all.
Nothing at all first of all I ask for room on the 3rd floor and the woman said that she couldn't give me a room on the third floorthen I went out to buy a pop and the pop machine took my moneythen when I asked how about what I receive it back they told me they didn't no
cost/location/ quiet and clean. great stay no
Nothing Unknown brown stains on mattress extra bedding brought up stained and with burn holes refrigerator stopped working and leaked ac didn't work correctly bad smell in room internet didn't work took an hour for computer to work to check in
Location. Close to all. Beds are surprisingly very comfortable. Cou be a bit cleaner. For 1 night stay it did the job. With exception to the great, obviously newer matresses, the rooms are a bit dated. Breakfast does the job but just ok. Staff is friendly. Great nights sleep. Pool was not open :(.
They did as I expected. Breakfast was a waste of time.
NOTHING STAFF WAS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL AS WELL AS THE OWNER. THE POOL WASNT OPEN MY GRANDDAUGHTER BROKE OUT WITH ALLERGIC REACTION TO THE PROVIDED SHEETS. I WONT EVER STAY AT ANOTHER MICROTEL HOTEL UNTIL THE CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS MAKES THIS RIGHT!!
Close location to my parents. They never cleaned our room. We were there 3 nights. We called & asked about pets. We have a 5 pound teacup poodle. They take pets but nothing was said of a fee until we checked in & found the fee was 1/3 the room rate. Never will stay here again.
Got upgraded to a suite at no additional cost. $30/night pet fee (about typical). Very close to restaurants and the Ohio Turnpike. Breakfast just average, but acceptable.
Location. Front desk was very accommodating on so many levels. Great big big THANK YOU to hotel employee. Breakfast was so-so as anticipated. But there are several options nearby.
Dirty. They double charged me. I payed cash and the. I was charged again. The towels were brown although they were supposed t be white They were like dishrags.
The staff were very friendly. Heat wasn't working in our room, we had to sleep with our jackets on. I found an underware left from previous guest. Overall, it was a terrible experience I wish doesn't happen again.
This hotel is literally right off the Interstate -- very easy off and back on, but you would never know it with no road noise in the hotel. Staff takes great pride in their service and the appearance of the hotel. New mattresses (!) made for a heavenly night's sleep. The entire hotel appears brand new, but is actually 5 years old. Really great breakfast, for a self-serve hot breakfast. Attentive staff kept things fresh and full. All and all, a really great value for the money.
I have stayed here a few times since they opened. One of the best run and nicest designed Holiday Inns in the country..! I recommend it highly. While you are there try the local pizza.
Location was nice. Visit was for a family wedding at 1 PM on 6-11 and since check-in time is listed as 2PM I called when I made reservations and spoke with Paula and asked her since we were driving from NY could we check-in early ? Didn't want to drive in my tuxedo. Paula told me room would be ready anytime after 11AM. My wife and I arrived about 11:15 and after we drove around the building, office entrance is not clearly marked. I went to register and was told no rooms were ready, they were full-up last night, I informed the desk clerk of my prior arrangements and suddenly our room was ready, second floor and no ramp or elevator. I had read reviews of cleanliness problems so while I brought our luggage my wife sprayed the room with Lysol. No obvious spiders but thick layer of dust on the telephone in plain view. Lack of power outlets at desk for computer and cellphone also saw a multi-plug adaptor behind refrigerator, microwave, with multiple lights plugged into one outlet. Looked like an electrical overload from a former fire investigators opinion. Bathroom was clean. Didn't get to the breakfast. Sunday AM started loading the car but when we were ready to check-out we waited at the desk and no clerk so we went out to our car only to find the clerk outside smoking. No luggage stand in room so you must either use the bed or floor to access your luggage. I did try to make a local call from my room but call would not go through ? if problem with motel or local telephone system. Nice non-smoking room but smokers outside lobby entrance forcing you to walk through smoke cloud, employees & guests. Motel was quiet, bed comfortable, and tv worked but channel guide would have been nice in stead of needing to surf to find news and weather. I would consider staying here again.
Very clean, comfy, and remodeled. Excellent value for the price, I would stay here again.
The room was nice and clean They charge me three times for my room and i travel to ohio for a funeral and the day of the funeral i came out to the guys cutting the grass and there was grass all over my car i had to go to the car wash before the funeral
We enjoyed our stay. Great location, clean, comfortable room, lovely staff, breakfast was acceptable - Would definitely stay again I the future. no.
Nice location, nice room with kitchenette. Did not have room with 2 beds available but gave us a pull out couch. Did not have breakfast. Pool not open due to weather. All in all good hotel for the value.
The staff were very understanding when our dog got out of our room and into the hallway. No
The cleanliness and spacious rooms The breakfast area should be bigger
The room was spacious and gave us all our space. The breakfast was convenient. Location was perfect since we planned visiting friends at the horse track an downtown Cleveland The views from the room weren't enjoyable. The pool was dirty a lot of hair floating in it and it was chilly. I realize it was outside but was cool.
