This is a very friendly and welcoming B&B with wonderful hosts. Both Julie and Steve were great resources on where to go and what to do. The breakfasts were delicious and healthy. The room was very clean and comfortable. The view was an extra bonus. The Sandhill Crane family paid us a visit each afternoon and weren't bothered by our presence. This was a great place to stay for three days.....even longer if we had the time.
Pros: The staff was extremely welcoming and accomodating to our needs. The 'To Go' breakfast exceeded our expectations. The view was incredible. The room was very comfortable.
Cons: It was a little bit away from town but once we figured it out, it wasn't a problem. The directions were very helpful.

Pros: Other room was very clean and the beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable.
Cons: We had a first floor room and had issues with the upstairs guests each night. I'm sure it was unintentional, but it seemed like everyone was stomping around. We would recommend a second floor room if you're a light sleeper or have little ones who easily wake up. Otherwise, it was great and we had a good stay.

Cons: Our rooms were in the last building that was filled with some corporation. They took up all parking spaces with their vehicles and trailers. They parked their trailers in the parking spots right in front of the building as well. They were coming and going all night keeping us up. The "queen" size beds I reserved were "full" and not queen. Our kids got little bumps on their faces from the bedding. Overall a really bad experience and wish I had my money back.
Pros: Thank you for the nice breakfast!

Pros: Location, laundry facilities and helpful staff
Pros: The room had a microwave/fridge. There was coffee and tea available in the lobby 24 hours a day (there was not a coffeemaker in the room). There was a nice view of the lake, and it was very quiet there. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room was very small. Although it was outdated, it was very clean.
Pros: Great location and restaurant on site. Good beds and pillows. Tea at desk and nice staff in hotel and restaurant.
Cons: We had a room with a refrigerator that was so loud it was hard to sleep. There was a fan in the room that covered up the sound so that helped. Really noisy neighbors. Hotel housed workers as well as travelers.
Pros: It was dry
Cons: Had room under bar which was very noisy
Pros: I wouldn't really call it a 'hotel' - it is more at a 'motel' level but clean, comfortable and they are starting to do upgrades. Two queens are in two different rooms which was surprising but ended up being nice when my friend wanted to go to bed earlier.
Cons: They walls are really thin and you can hear your neighbor but once we all went to sleep everything was nice and quiet.
Pros: The beds were very clean and comfy. The shower was fabulous.  the cranes were awesome. This place is not a dive, but funky and comfy. Staff members were friendly and very helpful.
Cons: TV did not work but was replaced the next day.
Pros: It was a nice place
Cons: The room was really small than what I thought it was going to be
Cons: Bed was too small
Nice hotel for a quick stay. Very small room but clean. Standard 2 star hotel.
Pros: Good location, very friendly and helpful fro t debt staff
Cons: Heat did not work in the room. Front desk clerk brought a portable heater to us. It wasn't too bad.
Cons: the room was very small and with unpleasant smell; and to our surprise, the key can not open the room the morning we checked out.
Cons: No table to put my laptop.
Pros: Location on the main road in Homer. Like watching the float planes flying on the lake.
Cons: Room a bit small, but nice.
