Pros: The owner was very personable and sat with us at breakfast. She took care of taxi service, and packed us a to go bag for breakfast to catch an early flight. I would go back. Jacuzzi in room. The place was clean with a great view of downtown Juneau.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in The Lila's Room for six nights. It is spacious, comfortable and bright, with bump-out windows providing views across the channel. Lots of room with a relaxing sitting area, comfy couch, and sitting chairs, making it a great place to hang and relax while you ponder your next outing. A king sized bed makes it easy to sleep in, but you won't want to miss breakfast! Each breakfast was a treat. A variety of fruits, home-made breads and pastries, home-made granola. Each day there would be a different freshly cooked hot item and meat. Eggs benedict, smoked salmon cream cheese on an English muffin, French toast, pancakes, fresh quiche, home-made applesauce, grilled pork tenderloin, sausage, bacon -- most anything you would hope for. All cooked to perfection and served with a smile and a warm welcome. Linda and Mark were the warmest hosts that you could ask for. Always ready to offer up a freshly baked cookie, muffin, glass of wine, or advice on things to enjoy around Juneau. If you have an early outing that would make you miss the scheduled breakfast Linda will make sure you don't go hungry and pack a great breakfast to take on your trip.
Cons: I really can't think of anything that would have made our stay better.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Linda is a primo host....solicitous, but not overly...just right
Cons: Literally almost nothing...smaller glass cups would be nice for the room rather than the large plastic ones provided...a bit clunky for bedside...
10.0 Excellent

Pros: I love the rooms! This Victorian style building is very neatly organized and the design is very beautiful.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very close to airport, which is what I wanted! Great staff and breakfast! Shuttle service to airport and town!

Pros: This was my first stay here...I am blown away! I was in Room 132 which is a one-of-a-kind room and I couldn't have asked for a nicer room.! The staff was so very nice, I was in a hurry so I had to get breakfast on the run and they gave me a small box to take with me. Loved it, loved it, loved it! I'll be back!!!!
Cons: The room (132) was huge, very clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room was very comfortable and stylishly furnished. Four-post bed, modern bathroom with all the safety features, kitchenette. The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we told them that we had an early morning flight out of Juneau, the night receptionist took our breakfast order and an excellent hot breakfast was ready for us 15-20 min before the regular opening time of their restaurant. This left us plenty of time for the ride to the airport that is only a few minutes away. Overall, we had a much better experience here than at other hotels in downtown Juneau. We loved it and we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Juneau!

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is a quaint little hotel in the heart of downtown Juneau easy access to just about everything downtown, as with all the buildings in Juneau it is an older building and while the rooms were clean and neat and comfortable is the one I was in room 302 was just a bit Spartan instead of a nice rug on the floor it was I believe a linoleum or something but for the most part I would stay there again as I am local it's probably one of the better places in Juneau to stay for the pricing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I discovered the SilverBow two years ago and couldn't wait to return to Juneau to stay there. It was the perfect blend of quirky, stylish and comfort. Every detail has been considered. Wonderful hospitality. The location can't be better.
Cons: The only issue was that my room faced the street, so at 2am after the bars closed things got noisy.

7.9 Good
Pros: Great staff, generous breakfast, ideal location, hot tub!
Cons: Had two rooms--one next to the hot tub area with little privacy and one backing up to the adjacent building that had its windows sealed. Stuffy even with fans on. Beds very hard.

Pros: Centrally located, cute and wonderfully decorated little place. Great hot tub too! One of our all-time faves
Cons: It’s the most minor of things, but the bed is a little too warm if it’s not winter.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was always hot & fresh. Plenty of delicious food & the kitchen staff was very friendly. The front desk was friendly as well. Housekeeping was excellent! Even when we left late in the day, we returned to a spotless room with new towels & clean trash cans. Great location! Free shuttle to/from airport & to/from downtown Juneau. Literally 4 minutes from the airport, right across the street from the Capital Transit bus line if needed & walking distance to the corner store.(Breeze-In 10min walk)
Cons: Explaining the availability of wifi, adding points to our BW acct for our stay & the option of store runs via shuttle. We overheard these options explained to other patrons while eating breakfast. We did check in after 10pm but it would have been nice to know these added perks upfront. Also wished the shuttle cutoff was later, 7:15pm is fairly early for travelers.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: They pick you up .
Cons: Nothing

2.5 Mediocre

Juneau Hotel - Juneau - Building

8.5 Excellent (243 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Juneau (Downtown Juneau), Juneau Hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Juneau Arts and Humanities Council and Alaska Governor's Mansion. Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Juneau? This hotel has facilities measuring 690 square feet (64 square meters), including conference space. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request), and a ferry terminal shuttle is also provided at no charge.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was a fully stocked little apartment. Very comfortable.
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Beds and pillows were comfortable.
Cons: The list is long. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Worst management I ever everencountered. They don't even have a card key entry at the front door and the night clerk locks the door and disappears leaving guest locked out. Fortunately the dumpy handicap studio room #1470 they gave me had a door leading to the intersection although I paid for a 1 bedroom queen suite. They tried to overcharge me over my quoted rate, worked on trying to check me in 45 minutes+. Assured me they would correct the price. Then a similar bunch more bs upon check out including they didn't have any more 1 bedroom queen suites so upgraded my room to the handicapped studio converted office. This room is like an office converted to makeshift room. Be very skeptical of positive reviews. Not sure what type of motels these positive posters are use to staying. The Four Points hotel I highly recommend.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We arrived way ahead of check in time so while we had to wait for a bit, they still got us into a room early. Room was great... Spacious and spotless! Staff was friendly and helpful. Computer was down in the lobby so Tina printed our boarding passes and luggage tags. AND a free airport shuttle! We were not aware of the free shuttle initially so we paid $25 for a taxi to the hotel. You should totally make a big deal about your free shuttle... free versus $25 for a taxi is a big deal. It's not like its a $4 taxi ride.
Cons: No complaints....they also have a complimentary breakfast which we did not allow enough time for so can't really say if it was average or better.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel room with our own washing machine. Location and staff excellent.
Cons: Breakfast not good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Big room with comfy beds. Very clean. Friendly helpful staff. Airport shuttle.
Cons: Can’t think of anything.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice, lots of space. Comfortable bed. Free shuttle was very nice and even had breakfast ready by 5:30am
Cons: NA
6.7 Good
Pros: Location was good, it was just outside of the "main downtown" area, but it really was not bad at all. There was a walkway along the water that was great to take to downtown and although the front desk staff "warned us" it was a mile walk, it sure never felt like a mile. It was easy and safe
Cons: Vending machines didn't work well (although the front desk refunded lost money immediately without any question). The breakfast was so-so.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Staff great. Hotel clean. Good in-room kitchen. Ceiling fans in room. Easy parking. Easy walking distance to downtown. Friendly airport-shuttle. Good shower/hot water.
Cons: In room: even with heat off (thermostat turned all-the-way-down) room far too warm; in order to cool the room, opened windows ... but adjacent roadway noise both too loud and very late into the evening; broken-down furniture (sofa, bed)/window shades; TV continually malfunctioned (eventually left it off); despite sizable kitchen - no dining table. Fitness center small, and not-at all ventilated (stuffy/warm). Breakfast C-.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Having a full kitchen, washer and dryer, lots of space was wonderful. The bed was comfy.
Cons: Traffic noise was moderate. Distance to any service was blocks away. Fine for me. I like to walk but may not work for others.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were given an early check in which was nice. Early airport transfer very timely. Nice location.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and spacious rooms. Walking distance to downtown area and free shuttle to/from airport and ferry terminal
Cons: No early check-in

5.1 Okay
Pros: The location is right near downtown and if the weather is nice, is a short walk. The rooms are fairly up to date.
Cons: The bathrooms are extremely outdated which leaves them looking dirty (even if they might be clean). The Internet service is EXTREMEMLY slow. I was traveling for business and couldn't work in my room because the Internet went in and out so frequently. I had to use my hot spot on my phone to get anything done! I thought checkout was at 12 and due to feeling under the weather, planned on utilizing all my time until then. In every other hotel I have been in, this is not an issue. I called an got a late checkout but even so was called twice to ask to get out of my room. The girl working at the desk was EXTREMEMLY rude. House keeping never once asked if I could leave.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great views, great location and a nice room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: No indoor pool
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Huge room!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This previously privately owned hotel was born again as a Four Points Sheraton in April. It is tasteful, clean and modern. The staff was professional and knowledgeable about places to go and things to do in Juneau. I will absolutely stay there again, and recommended it to my agency.
Cons: The sound was going out on my TV, and, like many hotels in Alaska, I had no AC.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: 1. No visitor information centres were open and there wasn't one tourist information sheet in the hotel. The girl behind the front desk didn't have a clue about what was open. 2. We had been on a ship for a week had a heap of laundry to do before heading off on our next leg. We stayed in your hotel on Saturday and Sunday, filled the laundry bag and to our amazement discovered that you don't do laundry on the weekend. It was a real struggle to find a laundromat open in Juneau outside of the cruise ship season; read trip advisor on this subject. 3. Windows were dirty, but were being cleaned on the day we left.
6.3 Good
Pros: Over all I guess my wife and I were happy with our stay although not having any air conditioning in the room did make for unpleasant sleeping at night. They did provide two fans in our room that was our saving without them it would have been totally unexceptable. The time that we were there was thankfully only two nights August 5th and 6th 2019. The weather was unusually warm the highs were in the mid 80"s and the lows were in the mid 60"s but we were on the fifth floor and heat rises. The location is perfect we were very close to all the attractions Juneau has to offer in town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything about Four Points Hotel. It was clean. The staff was always pleasant and helpful.. The location is great and I felt safe.
7.1 Good
Cons: Well Global warming more to blame than anythin requiring to leave windows open and rig, but no cooling air-conditioning and with the very warm summer days experienced during our stay the rooms were uncomfortably hot at night requiring leaving the windows open and risking the mosquitoes and insects Also fire in the lobby was not really needed when it was roasting inside the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Check-in staff were very accommodating. Clean room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The view was great I loved watching the cruise ship come in and dock
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were spacious and clean. The amenities were good in the hotel and the restaurant had great food. It was a pleasant experience. Definitely staying here again.

Pros: Charming little property with all the amenities I needed. Cute, clean, and made my stay in Juneau really enjoyable. I would certainly stay here again!
Cons: Everything was great!
7.5 Good
Pros: No TV channels to speak of, could not watch Fox News and/or TCM which I enjoy while traveling. Breakfast was very minimal Bed was very comfortable and facility was clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very cozy little cottage in a part of town much more convenient to airport and ferry terminal than downtown. Nicely apportioned apartment perfect for a couple or traveller passing through Juneau. Appreciated the fresh coffee beans, grinder and milk and cereal for breakfast. All the tools I needed to cook up a huge breakfast or other meals. Bed very comfortable, and heated floor in the bathroom which is very tastefully decorated with local rock specimens.
Cons: If you are visiting downtown Juneau, consider staying downtown as taxis are expensive and the bus takes forever and stops early. This location is ideal for airport to ferry transfer or to explore Mendenhall Glacier.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cleanliness. Style. Amenities.
Cons: Wish there was a set of sheets for the sofa bed. I'm sure the staff would have provided these if I had asked.

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. 8.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 5 days. Both rooms were a nice size, and the beds were comfortable. The bedding was also comfortable. The heater worked well, so well that we had to turn it down...it was too warm! The windows opened to let in the cool outside air. The living room was comfortable with a couch, coffee table and small dining table. The bathtub has a long shelf for toiletries!
Cons: The layout was shotgun style (you have to walk through the first bedroom to get to the second bedroom). As it was my sister and me, that layout was fine for us. A sitting chair in the living room would've been nice.
4.0 Okay
Cons: The toilet was stained. The room was very hot with only a fan to cool it.
6.7 Good
Pros: Staff helpful
Cons: A/c and heating problematic- would b helpful to give instructions on working- May need cleaning no air movement
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The pick-up and drop off drivers were personable and friendly, providing useful insights about Juneau.
Cons: There are some noticeable repairs to the property outside which need to be a priority.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location and shuttle service to the airport.
Cons: The room was a bit tired and old feeling.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was great. The best part was the complimentary shuttle to and from the airport, along with the ferry terminal.
Cons: Very basic barebones spot, which was expected at this pricepoint. There was no mini-fridge (not a dealbreaker). Not the most comfortable pillows, or sheets.
4.6 Okay
Pros: This hotel was centrally located with easy walking distance to harbour side attractions,
Cons: The hotel is very run down. Carpet was stained and musty smelling. Bed was creaky and sloped to one side. The bathroom was tiny with no support rails. The bathroom door couldn't close as it was swollen through damp.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: There is a lot to like about beachside villas. View to town is great, friendly and helpful owner, comfortable villas, nice bed linen.
Cons: There are a number of steep steps to get to the Villas and it is a 30 minute walk to town. These were not a problem to us but guests need to be prepared for it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff and a great location
Cons: Wish there was a hot tub

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. We were lucky to be upgraded and room very comfortable and spacious. Location - walking distance to the town and sky tram. Great walks and view at top.
4.6 Okay
Pros: I like that the staff upgraded us to a suite after we endured the horror of staying in a pit of a room and finding someone else's slippers in the unclean bed. They brought us new sheets that we had to put on.
Cons: The place is a dive. The pictures are basically glam shots that lead you to believe it's better. I would never recommend this place, even to people I don't care for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and convenient.
Cons: Location
7.9 Good
Pros: The location is great - just a couple minute walk from all the major downtown activities, and easy access off Eagan Drive with convenient parking. Enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant with great views across the channel.
Cons: The facilities and decor need to be freshened.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff were very nice
Cons: Room was below average
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: no breakfast.
Cons: Reservations were a continual nighmare. They kept losing them, 3 times!! Hot and muggy inside motel even with window wide open, always. No kleenex, no working coffee maker, one chair in whole room, front desk is clueless and condescending when losing reservation for the third time.
7.0 Good
Pros: Location would be good except all the road construction made it dificult to get to hotel. R
Cons: The room was huge but the tv was very small and difficult to see from the bed
4.6 Okay
Pros: Atlas, and other staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The pet room, located in the darkest part of the motel (our view was inside the parking garage) smelled strongly of stale cigarettes. It was so strong it made us ill. We were moved to a room on the second floor, which was much better. In this room however, one of the comforters had a reddish colored stain, and I awoke the next morning to the sound of water. I went to the bathroom only to be hit with water leaking through the ceiling. Also, there was major road construction, which would have been helpful to know ahead of time. Although Juneau is a small city, it took us a bit to find a road that took us to the motel. In short, not a good place to stay. I would not recommend, nor stay here again.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location for our needs. Cleanliness. Dude the did everything to make out stay as pleasant as possible. The restaurant and bar are great
Cons: Value for money poor. They need to have a transfer to and from the airport and ferry. It's ridiculous how far away they are from these places. $35 can fare. Again no air conditioning the room was hot and you really couldn't open the window too much access to the public.
5.0 Okay
Cons: the carpets could be redone, very out dated and old
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: nothing
Cons: not close to airport, no shuttle service to airport, noisy could not sleep! would never stay there again!

Cons: Only change I would make- a shower lol net so water would safely staff in tub
7.9 Good
Pros: Locality - staff were great
Cons: Dated and too warm and pricey
7.1 Good
Pros: Good food and fair prices
Cons: It’s an older hotel in the process of refreshing. The first room we had was musty and caused some sinus problems but they were quick to let us change rooms.
4.6 Okay
Cons: The desk lady was super rude!! We called in advance for early check in for 830am and got a shuttle to the hotel they informed us that we would have to check back at 4... we flew in from Seattle and hadn't been to sleep yet. And we double checked to make sure our room was ready!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location very con
Cons: Unmodernised, scruffy and mainly rather surly staff
2.0 Mediocre
Cons: It was really really noisy could hear the guy next to me talking on the phone for an hour and a half .. Construction going on in hotel so smelt of Concrete
7.9 Good
Pros: The view was stunning and the environment more than compensated for any shortcoming the hotel had. It was a nice and neat hotel and the staff were quite friendly. The food was also great. I enjoyed my stay.
Cons: The facility felt dated and seem quite old. The intercoms did not work. Access to the internet was really bad as the network fluctuated most time making it difficult to connect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Liked the location
Cons: Room renovation was done poorly. Kept stubbing my toes on the strip of some type of hard substance going into the bathroom. Tv remote didn’t work properly. Actually had to ask desk clerk how to get to my room at check in. Almost all places I stay tell me what services they have available on site (restaurants, coffee shops, etc) but not here!
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Hotel very tired and gloomy. Staff rather brusque - probably over worked -
Cons: Overall ‘tiredness’ of hotel. Photos on website make rooms look large and luxurious which they are not!
7.1 Good
Pros: Location, cleanliness, knowledgeable staff in back room. Quiet street. excellent coffee shop attached to the hotel.
Cons: Cost of stay, decor, old music playing, dark and dingy lounge, noise from equipment on terrace outside our window.

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Alaskan Hotel and Bar in Juneau (Downtown Juneau), you'll be a 5-minute walk from Alaska State Capitol and 6 minutes by foot from Juneau-Douglas City Museum. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
4.2 Okay
Pros: I liked when the loud music from the several bars below & the drunks finally stopped being unbearably loud around 3AM. We actually got almost 2 hours of sleep before a couple of obnoxious jerks down on the street starting making really loud whistles at each other from opposite ends of the street (ending with a "heh heh heh") at about 5AM. The bed was soft. Our room had a bathroom. The bathroom was small, but there at least was one in our room.
Cons: There was no A/C, so we had to open the window to get any relief from the heat & to get some air circulating. We had a bathroom but the other people we were traveling with had to "share" a bathroom, or rather "toilet room" (1 toilet) or "shower room" (1 shower) - (the "bathtub room" was out of order) with the entire floor of guests - they were NOT happy. The room was VERY small & smelled weird.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was clean, great location, staff was good except checking out lady at lobby desk was uptight, other than that it was good.
6.3 Good
Pros: They let us store our luggage ahead of and after booking in and out. The guy helped us get to our room several hours earlier than the allotted 3pm check in time. very helpful. The young female bartender was excellent.
Cons: pretty basic room but was expected for such an old style hotel. Was not really a problem.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: The area is ghetto.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is old a d historically cool, but not maintained. My door was extremely hard to open and close and during my stay the door handle actually broke. It took the mgmt about two hours to fix, fortunately my flight was later but if not who knows what would have happened. Bar is cool and the inside of the rooms are fine but this place is falling apart
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very rustic and comfortable beds. Nice folks very helpful
Cons: Rooms were not ready. Rooms were not what I had asked for and I booked far in advance. No elevator for big luggage and no one to help take up. No air port shuttle and taxi was 25.00 one way people should know this before booking
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect, Michael at front desk was great!
Cons: The 60+ steps
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was very central with easy access to take day trips and walk around the town , close to restaurants etc. The hotel will appeal to people who enjoy meeting locals and enjoy listening to local musicians.
Cons: It's an old building and the floors creak a bit. No lift, so had to carry the luggage upstairs.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location and staff. Mike was amazing. The rooms were nice in a historical building. No elevators so you have to be able to climb stairs. Nice laundry facilities. Nice bar attached. No bathroom or shower in our room but the public ones were close and clean. Great location to restaurants the dock, the tram to Mt roberts.and the bus
Cons: No bathroom or shower or hair dryer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The best value in Juneau! Always the best place for the weary traveler. :)
Cons: Nothing.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The best part of this hotel was it’s location, right downtown and it was cheap in comparison to other Juneau hotels
Cons: The hostel like facilities, should have read throughly what accommodations were available.
5.8 Okay
Pros: did not have
Cons: the bed is lumpy and uneven the pillows are lumpy and cheep, security is poor, the window did not lock, the room had poor ventilation and only the option for heat. It does get hot in Juneau and there was not even a fan. I actually bought my own fan which made the climate tolerable. The wifi was poor, intermittent and low band width.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming accommodation
Cons: Beautiful
6.3 Good
Pros: It was quaint
Cons: The property was old, so the layout was not ideal - especially if you are upstairs and have heavy bags - no lift
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the rooms! This Victorian style building is very neatly organized and the design is very beautiful.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very close to airport, which is what I wanted! Great staff and breakfast! Shuttle service to airport and town!
Cons: Basics were missing - no water in the room and the only vending machine on the property was not working! Some things need replacing - too worn out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Big, comfortable bed

Located in Juneau (Downtown Juneau), Juneau Hotel is within a 15-minute walk of Juneau Arts and Humanities Council and Alaska Governor's Mansion. This hotel has facilities measuring 690 square feet (64 square meters), including conference space.
