Pros: The hosts Marcia and Mannfried are simply great and absolutely lovely! They were very friendly, humorous and supported us in every way. They gave us a lot of interesting information and made us feel at home. We stayed for three nights and the breakfast was always delicious. The house is beautiful. We stayed on the upper floor, the room was huge and the view was amazing. The accomodation is a short drive away from Homer Spit.

Pros: Marcia and Manifred are very nice Hosts. They welcomed us very warm. Our room was cozy totally clean and has a wonderful view. They also Organized a Hiking Tour for us. Even the pancakes for breakfast were We really recommend this accomodation.

Pros: The lodge is beautiful and the owners wonderful. During our stay a fire closed the highway to Anchorage. They would have put us up if needed despite being booked. They are amazingly gracious hosts!

Pros: A warm welcome from Amy who offered us an electric kettle and helped with the login to WiFi as we had problems. A lovely place to stay with a great view of the mountains and beautiful flowers on the veranda. Would stay here next time we visit Homer.

Pros: The place is super nice and clean. Amy & Rich are the nicest couple and will do everything to please their guests. The unit is VERY spacious and comfortable.

Pros: The close proximity to Homer Spit, beautiful scenery just above the tidal flats. Lori the owner was very welcoming and made sure there was food and beverages available for us prior to going charter fishing. Upon returning she told us about the moose that were wondering around nearby to be on the lookout. Enjoyed chatting with her and follow traveller's. Wonderful accommodations, would definitely stay again if opportunity presents itself!

Pros: The house was beautiful! Wonderful deck to sit outside! Our bedroom was very comfortable. It was in walking distance to 2 breweries! Our hostess was the greatest! Very informative accommodating. The breakfasts were delicious! We always felt comfortable.

Pros: The location is great- wonderful view and close to Homer Spit. The B&B is super clean, comfortable and the host, Lori, is wonderful. Her breakfast and company were blessings each morning. She works very hard to ensure her guests are comfortable.

Pros: In a few words, is like being family home. Me my wife and little daughter loved to stay there. If we can we come again!

Pros: Byron & Anna are super host. The delightful breakfast was a real treat with all organic & locally grown produce. The view was splendid. Easy to locate.

Pros: Anna and Byron were fabulous. They helped us arrange excursions and stayed up very late to welcome us after a delayed flight. They payed attention to every detail. They are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts were great. So looking forward to returning.

Pros: The owners are wonderful people. They make you feel at home. The breakfast they provide is delicious and they use local organic food. I don't know what words to use to express my feeling about this places except it was amazing. We will recommend this to our friends and family.

Pros: This is a lovely place to stay , high above Homer... The balcony outside our room had a million dollar view of stunning Kachemak bay and glacier covered mountain range. The owners are friendly , knowledgeable and very helpful. The freshly made breakfast was healthy and yummy, some of it straight from their garden. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, with everything you might need. This is a calm , quiet place..

Cons: It was somewhat difficult to find after dark, even with Google Maps and GPS - but the view from our window when we woke up made the effort to find the place worthwhile!

Pros: The staff is amazing! The view from the room is priceless. Every room has its own personal ocean view balcony to sit and enjoy the beauty of the ocean and mountains.

Pros: Other room was very clean and the beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable.

Cons: We had a first floor room and had issues with the upstairs guests each night. I'm sure it was unintentional, but it seemed like everyone was stomping around. We would recommend a second floor room if you're a light sleeper or have little ones who easily wake up. Otherwise, it was great and we had a good stay.

Pros: The hotel was located overlooking Katchemak Bay at Homer. The water and the snow capped mountains were s delight to see from the private deck, and there was resident access to the bay below via a trail down the hill. The room was scrupulous in its cleanliness and all staff lovely

Cons: Every time we used the shower water seeped out and made the floor wet even though we keep the shower curtain tight up to shower wall.

Cons: Property theme was antique but poorly organized. The bedroom was right in front of the doorway which was disconcerting.

Pros: We had a great time while staying at the Ocean House. The views were simply stunning! The inn was very neat and clean and we loved the nautical themed rooms. The only minor hiccup, and it was minor, is that when we arrived we didn’t realize that there is not an office on site to check in to and I never received an email regarding the check in process. This was quickly rectified with a phone call. We would most definitely stay here again while traveling to Homer!

Pros: The view from my private patio and the very nice shared patio were the most breathtaking and relaxing in Homer in my opinion. Definitely recommend this location!

Pros: Room was amazing and completely transported you to a relaxed/vacation mindset. The deck is phenomenal and perfect place to enjoy the beauty of Homer. Very peaceful accommodation.

Pros: Super little place.Not really a B&B or hotel in the traditional sense. Room with coffee/ tea facilities, microwave and fridge. We liked this arrangement as we are the get up and go with coffee types. Room was great, had thoughtful extra touches. View was amazing and we would have stayed an extra night had there been availability. If we are ever back in Homer we would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Firstly, I liked the location of the property, and the view was awesome. Then of course, sitting outside on the deck was priceless. Furthermore the room was awesome in respect to interior decoration as well as the comfy bed. I truly enjoyed my stay.

Pros: the room was spacious, comfortable. The bath room was excellent and very comfortable. It was nice having a full kitchen and easy parking.

Cons: The breakfast was poor to compare to other B&B there was no choice at all, the amount of food served was minimal, except for a quiche. There was no juice, cereals, selection of breads or yogurt. The host was talking too much, enforcing himself on the guests. He required all guests have breakfast together, asked one of the guests to say grace, which to us was offensive, and was watching the guests eating. It was very annoying. He also insisted on giving us a house tour and room tour which was totally unnecessary and time wasting

Pros: What a great find in Homer. I only had one day and I wish I had more. The owners are really welcoming and lovely people. The property is really nice found it to be very quiet and comfortable with amazing views over the town. Would recommend for a true Alaska experience in hospitality. Especially liked the Keurig machine and having a coffee on the patio and taking in the sights, thanks so much!

Pros: Julia (the owner), was very helpful in finding and booking us an excellent bear viewing trip? She did all the leg work and we couldn't have been more pleased.

Cons: A very comfortable room with a full kitchen and nice bathroom. It had a separate entrance which is nice for B&B. The breakfast was excellent and I regret only being there one morning to enjoy it. I would suggest this as an excellent option if staying in Homer

Pros: A lovely lodge in a small town (Homer) on a human scale. Juxia and her husband show a great willingness towards the guests

Pros: Our hostess, Juxia, was remarkable in communicating when forest fires looked to close roads. She went above and beyond in arranging alternate transportation which turned out to be unnecessary when blocked roads suddenly reopened. But her commitment to helping us have a memorable holiday was extraordinary. The room was comfortable and opened to a private terrace with lovely views.

Cons: Afternoon receptionist needs training: no eye contact, brusque manner reminding me of my fist contact with my army drill sergeant, no please or thank yous. The rest of the staff were charming, saying hello, eye contact, smiles, helpful with directions.

Pros: Location was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons: Unusually warm Alaskan summer this year. No air conditioning but fan was provided. Still, hot is hot.
