Pros: Enjoyed coming into friendly atmosphere and warm chocolate chip cookies. Pool was nice sized and whirlpool eased aching from the long drive. Large shower was comfortable. King sized bed inviting and lovely view from the window to a snowy open field. Hearty self serve breakfast sent us on our way.
Pros: Staff was excellent and great breakfast.
Pros: I had a single king room. It was very clean and spacious. Also room was quiet which I really liked. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was great. A lot of variety and hot items changed daily. Would stay there for work again.
Cons: Didn't care for the handicapped shower set up.

Pros: Sophie Station was a very nice hotel for the price in Fairbanks. Our King Suite was nice, clean, and well suited for our week long stay in the city. All of the staff was extremely nice and helpful, down to the point of giving me a window frost scraper for my rental car. Thanks for the box fan in my room! My wife and I like the sound to help us sleep. I will definitely stay here again next year when I come up to Fairbanks!
Cons: I wish there was an ice machine available in the building.
Known for outstanding guest service, Sophie Station Suites will impress you with its spacious suites, fitness room with cable TV and wonderful dining options - Zach's Restaurant and the Express Room Lounge. Every possible detail of guest comfort and enjoyment have been attended to. Sophie Station is just minutes from the Airport and the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Sophie's Suites are a welcome alternative to the smaller suites found at other hotels. Better yet-you will be pleasantly surprised by the price!
Cons: everything else.
Not a good value at $150 a night!
Next time I will camp in a tent!
Pros: Clean large room and everything worked.
For quiet & comfort without giving up the great conveniences of being downtown, escape to Bear Lodge at Wedgewood Resort. A lodge-style hideaway tucked between a 75-acre wildlife reserve and a 2,000-acre migratory waterfowl refuge. Bear Lodge features well-appointed spacious guestrooms and exceptional guest service. Perfectly matching the lodge's friendly spirit, Golden Bear Restaurant is among the most welcoming dining spots, complemented by a casual lounge and an Internet Caf. Great accommodations, tasteful food and Alaskan gifts make Bear Lodge a popular summer destination.
Pros: Very nice and clean room with a very comfortable bed. Great shower. Plenty of parking. Pet friendly.
Pros: Very close to the airport. Hotel offers courtesy shuttle. If you reach after hours, you can take a YellowCab or Eagle Cab and hotel will cover the charge.
Breakfast selection was decent, not great. Scrambled eggs, waffle maker, pastries, biscuit and gravy and coffee/tea/hot chocolate.
Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Hotel is under renovation. Rooms in the first floor still have strong paint smell and noise from renovation in the second floor. Rooms with stove feel small as all the rooms are of the same size and the stove/counter takes up a lot of space. We switched from a room with stove to one without, which felt a little bigger.
Staff could have been more knowledgeable. We went mainly to see the Aurora Borealis. The staff didn't have any good suggestions for good spots around the town where visibility would be good. Also, we asked about dog sledding and they couldn't recommend any place either. Having suggestions on local attractions would be helpful.
Breakfast selection can be better.
Cons: was not told of remodel in progress. found partial marijuana joint on bathroom sink. will never stay in a La Quinta suits again.
Pros: It was clean & the staff was excellent.
Cons: Restaurant was only open for dinner and only 4 nights a week. Had to take cab else where or order in. Booked there thinking could eat all meals there.
The room was hot and were not suppose to open windows. No way to cool room off.
Pros: I was staying here because of proximity to airport for early morning departure. The staff was helpful and accommodating. When I needed a ride (shuttle was included) and the shuttle was not yet running because of early hour, they provided a voucher to cover cab costs. Also had breakfast available early so I could grab a bite. The room was clean, efficient, bedding very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it.
They also had the hotel decorated with some interesting old Fairbanks/Alaska photographs that were actually worth a walk around to see.
Cons: Because of winter hours (dead of winter, I might add), there was no food service or gift shop service available on Mondays or Tuesdays, so I had no other option for meals beyond ordering in by phone. They did provide coffee and hot water, in addition to in-room coffee making facilities and a microwave for reheating. Even with this, I'd still stay here again.

Pros: The room was spacious and clean and staff were great
Cons: The bed was too hard
Pros: Friendly staff, nice rooms, enjoyable atmosphere. Would love to stay again.
Cons: No bad experiences with the hotel itself, however, the restaurant adjacent to the hotel, had an intrusive and somewhat rude waiter. Overall I enjoyed the restaurant, but did not return due to said waiter- a male in his 40's who made some personal comments to my wife when I was not around as well as some unprofessional comments / statements to a couple young ladies who were at the table next to ours. What was shocking was the individual had informed us he had been a waiter for 20+ years at numerous restaurant establishments.
Pros: Clean hotel, with standard amenities.
Cons: First time I've stayed at the Copper Lodge (with the solar panels), and the wifi on that side of the hotel was terrible. My devices kept dropping signal; something I have not experienced in two stays in the main lodge. I also did not have any hot water to take a shower two mornings at 7am which was quite irritating since this was a business trip and I had to go to work. I also did not experience this hot water shortage in the main lodge building.

Pros: Our unit was like having our own home, great apartment.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, went out of their way to help with our needs. The night we arrived, it was late, we had not eaten so I called the front desk to see if they knew where we could get food. The shuttle driver overheard the conversation. He came back without asking, took me to the bar that was about to close and asked the bartender if he could help. The bartender made us sandwiches to go on in the kitchen that had already shut down. Awesome sandwiches.

Cons: The hotel is too busy for two elevators. And they are disgusting. Sheets are hung up inside with stains. It was creepy using elevator in gross conditions with 8 to 10 people in them at a time .. I see there being a problem in the future The hotel manag
Pros: Clean rooms and comfortable beds roomy and good breakfast
Cons: Pull out bed was very uncomfortable and I ended up sleeping on the couch with the bed put back in.
Pros: Location, pool
Pros: Had a king bed room. Was beautiful and couch was comfortable to watch TV. Very tastefully decorated.
Cons: Jacuzzi needed cleaning out. To my understanding a gymnastics team stayed the night before so it was a bit dirty.
Pros: Great breakfast with a good variety. We got the third floor facing the river and the view was excellent. Restaurants are within walking distance, and there was a good variety of gift shops. Lots of history points within walking distance. Friendly staff.
Cons: Lots and lots of homeless looking folks hanging around. Only one approached us to beg money. Three drunks sitting on a corner cussed at us. Lots of closed business downtown.
Pros: Complimentary breakfast is quite nice.
Cons: There are not much choice with the tea selection for people who doesn't drink coffee, and there is no water kettle provided in the room.
Pros: We enjoyed the location - close to the Yukon Quest finish line and the beautiful Chena River. Also enjoyed the hot tub and the excellent breakfasts.
This is a great hotel and I would definitely stay there again. Great location.
Pros: Bed was extremely comfortable, Floors were quiet and non-smoking. Great free breakfasts. Staff was very nice and helpful. Suite was very comfortable and reasonably priced.
Cons: Not at all!
Pros: Free breaksfast is excellent.
Cons: Very little parking available.
Pros: The location.....was excellant...and clean and staff helpful. Parking is limited. Overall we will stay again and have....thank you
Cons: Yes they charged my credit 175.00 when the room was pre-paid!!!
The rooms were very clean and well-organized. Plenty of space, and I liked the microwave and mini-fridge in the room. Checking in/out was also quick. An excellent free breakfast as well!
Pros: Free shuttle service to and from airport as well as free shuttle service to and from train depot.

A guest computer! Many cooking materials and nice staff!
Pros: Clean,convenient and comfortable
Cons: the room is a little bit crowded for 3 people.
Pros: The room was nice, and the owners were very nice. I liked that we had the ability to use the kitchen if we wished. Due to a flight problem, we arrived at 3:00 a.m. I had called the owner earlier that day, and she graciously left keys for us.
Cons: Coffee pots weren't in each room, although that may be an Alaska thing. No problems, but the key situation is a little unnerving...if our room key works the front door of the house, would someone else's key work for our room? I think so.

Green initiative. Chose to not have them disturb my room or collect towels til my weekend stay was over
Hotel was hidden away from main roads. Tucked away
Complimentary breakfast was perfect
Tv HDMI comparable. We brought our fire stick
Cons: Needed more blankets for the bed.
Cons: They overbooked out room TWICE. Once we finally got in to the room, they gave it out to someone else while a were in it, keys and all. I found out because two strangers walked into our room while we were there, with the door shut. They later changed our keys, didn't tell us orthe other staff until we found out we were locked out of our own room.
Pros: Went to take my daughter to UAF. The location was very close to the university and less than 10 minutes to Wal-Mart, Fred Meyer, and other stores. The staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast included was decent and convenient.
Cons: Only problem was the bottom sheet not wanting to stay on the bed.
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: The breakfast had to be refilled every 5min but the chef would take forever to cook
Pros: Staff are exceptionally curteous and helpful, and seem genuinely caring about the comfort of the guests.
Cons: The pool is is always broken.
Pros: Clean rooms. Quite and looked fancy.
Cons: Was not told before hand the pool was out of order. Was not told when we checked in. Only found out when I came down stairs Saturday morning for a dip. Very disappointed.
Pros: I really enjoyed the waffles in the morning and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: The room was really cold and the hand soap dispenser was out as well as the shampoo. :-/
Pros: Staff is exceptional. Knowledgable, warm and welcoming
Cons: The older gentleman who checked me in was very grumpy.

Pros: Loved the fact it was a cottage, by yourself.
Pros: Individual cottages are super cute, quiet, and clean. Staff is great! Safe location
Cons: The rooms don't have refrigerators
Cons: CRT TV Really? Bad TV reception. Flat panel TV and HD cable service is not much money.
Cons: Not having a refrigerator in the room or an iron
Pros: This is a charming location, quite close to the Fairbanks Airport. The cottages are simple but fine. Staff is helpful and friendly. The restaurants are excellent.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Rivers Edge Resort is just 2.4 mi (3.9 km) from the airport and offers a free shuttle (available 24 hours). Guests looking for a bite to eat can check out Chenas Alaskan Grill, which serves American cuisine and is open for lunch and dinner. A bar/lounge and a garden are other highlights, and rooms offer patios and LED TVs.
Cons: Heat was not reliable in the room. Had to have the facilities guy in twice. One time he spilled some glycol and it smelled really strongly for the next several hours.
Pros: The morning hot food bar was the only good thing about my stay.
Cons: They didn't clean the room. They didn't listen to any of my requests. They didn't fill up the soap and lotion even though I asked many times. The room was not warm. Water was cold. The staff all were friends and wouldn't report each other to manager. Blood on the wall when I checked in and toilet and door knob didn't work. One of the worst stays I have had in Fairbanks and I travel there all the time. My pillow had a nasty stain on it and I asked for it to be changed and they didn't do it even though I was there for 5 days.
Pros: Comfortable bed and friendly staff

Pros: It is in a great location for shopping and food.

I'd continue staying here
Pros: There were no bedbugs
Pros: great value for price. clean, modern. great for 1 or 2 night stays as needed.

.The room is big and clean.we booked a king bed room. Its so conmfortable. Its totally worthy the price.Whats more，the hotel is located in downtown fairbanks. Its easy to go everywhere if u have a car.
Cons: Stairway exit only! The stairs are nowhere near the elevator. Have to walk to the end of the hallway while the elevators are in the middle of the hotel. No clear signage for the outdoor entrances. We got lucky & ran across an employee who opened a "side" door for us. Old TV.
Cons: Room did not have a small refrigerator
Pros: Parking right out front.
Cons: No vent in bathroom, poor internet, bed wasn't comfortable.
Pros: It was very clean and comfortable
Cons: The cost of food is way over charged, come on, root beer float for $12.00. The cost of food is way over priced. We went next door to Wild Iris in the Golden Nugget and got great service plus the food was a lot for what you get. If your staying at Westmark, head over to Wild Iris on Noble.
