Beautiful time at aleenta! The staff goes above and beyond to provide an amazing experience. The pool residence is the best spot, love the extra touches such as pajamas and robes provided every day, lemongrass oil burning to create a spa aroma, etc.
The food could be a bit more authentic Thai. They use the best ingredients, but I feel that they are trying to cater to the westerners. I am American, but I want to experience local flavor when traveling. This was the only complaint.
Whitewashed bungalows are right on the sand and come with tropical gardens, outdoor/indoor showers, and floor to window retractable doors that open onto the vast view of the Gulf of Siam. Most comes with outdoor private plunge pool with Jacuzzi head, all with full seaview. Pilates, yoga and tichi are on offered at sunrise and sunset with bespoke private lesson, right on the beach, and one of the spa room has 360 degree panoramic view of the sea and 300 Peaks National Parks backdrop. Chef Rose is well known for her no non sense authentic Thai Cuisine and her cooking classes are well sought after. Attention to details is the signature of Aleenta, and it goes from 360 count Egyptian Cotton linens custom made for the 21 rooms hotel to the finest essential oil used in guests toiletteries. Gulf of Siam being the driest coast in Thailand makes Aleenta Pranburi a perfect year round destination.
