Pros: It's a nice hotel in a great location. Great pool! Lovely lobby and cafe area.
Cons: The room was a great room but the ac kept resetting to a default temp and the room stayed hot. Also the sheets are scratchy. I hate scratchy sheet.
Pros: Great new hotel, great sunsets

Cons: Be sure to call well in advance same day if you're arriving after 10PM, or you won't get a key to your room.
Continental breakfast was pretty minimal and not very health conscious.

Pros: Returned to the BFB hotel a second year with my mom who loved its small, quaint, friendly feeling and its magnificent views of the beach. Oceanside rooms are perfect for two and provide an opportunity to relax and enjoy the views. Staff are very accommodating and down to earth. Rooms are clean and designed to add to the "life by the sea" experience. Our first year there was quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately there year there were some rude vacationers that put a damper on our trip.
Cons: Tables by the beach encourage people to sit and smoke. Very sad that this year we had to close the door to our room many times due to people smoking cigarettes, weed, and drinking late into the night. Make that area non-smoking and reinforce it. Place a smoking area elsewhere.
Someone dumped a cup of snuff onto my rental car. Would recommend placing some sort of awning over that area to protect peoples cars. When the hotel is full there can be nowhere else to park but on the gulf side of the hotel.
Barefoot Beach Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Madeira Beach. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, along with onsite rowing/canoeing and surfing/boogie boarding. Bonuses like sofa beds, refrigerators, and microwaves are in all rooms.
Schooner Hotel is a great choice for a stay in Madeira Beach. Guests can take a dip in one of 2 outdoor pools, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Limited parking by hotel. 14-15 spots total directly out front and the staff parks right there as well. Staff should be required to park across the street to allow additional parking for paying customers. This was one of the big issues I noticed with this hotel
Pros: Location was great
Cons: I was under the impression all rooms got a beach view we didn't. Rooms were incredibly small like really really small!!
Pros: Very clean and quiet. Pool area is in the center of the hotel making it nice and private, surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The beach is right out their back door. Loved the location.
Pros: Met all our expectations, it's not luxury, but it's nice. Appreciate all the honest posts that we based our decision on. Would definitely consider revisiting the gem.
Enjoy your visit to Redington Shores with a stay at Hotel Sol. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and parasailing are nearby. Rooms feature conveniences like kitchenettes, along with flat-screen TVs and premium bedding.
Pros: We liked having a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms as well as easy beach access just across the street. Also walked to restaurants on John's Pass about 5 min.
Cons: New bed linens need to be supplied, the ones that it had are really old. Although everything was very clean.
Pros: Ended up staying at their new Bella Vista location, which would have been more expensive to reserve alone, so we got some additional value. Both rooms seemed excellent despite this major setback. Overall ended on a positive note and enjoyed the stay.
Cons: Staff decided it was a great idea to initially give us a one bedroom room despite literally having on receipt a reservation for a two-bedroom room. They suggested to either bear a one-person room until tommorrow, when a double would open up, or go to their Bella Vista condos. Had to relocate to a different location further away from the beach, no pool. Housekeeping was not informed of our occupation and came in mistakenly on the first day we stayed.
A great choice for a stay in Madeira Beach, Madeira Bay Resort & Spa features a marina. You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurant, or indulge in massages, facials, or mani/pedis. An outdoor pool and a health club are other highlights, and rooms offer conveniences like kitchens and sofa beds.
Pros: The personnel at the front desk were great (Charley and Scott B) and we had the most wonderful time there. Will stay there next time I am in the Tampa area and want some nice beach time and great food.
Pros: It was pretty and was entertaining.

Pros: Such a nice staff!. Right across the street from the beach and a cute tropical pool area. Walking distance to the beach bars and dining. Comfortable room with a full kitchen. Quiet at night.
Cons: It's an older hotel with a few wrinkles, but the plusses make that easy to overlook.
Pros: huge room, decently comfortable beds, great view of pool area which looked great. 24hr front desk. great location and prices
Pros: Very clean. Nice workers. Close to beach. Would stay again.
Cons: Dated, but clean.
Pros: Not too far from the beach, easy access location, free wi-fi and on site parking. All and all the place was not too not bad...definitely nice and quiet.
Cons: Room is quite dated, circa 1960s, kinda like staying in grand ma's spare bedroom. Also I became painfully aware that there is a difference between Beach front (ad photos) and beach access (shoes req). foremost strictly adhere to the check in at 3pm policy
Pros: The room and friendly folks that work there. The pool and area was clean. The hotel was in the right spot to the beach. They have an efficiency room that had clean kitchen and bathroom.
Cons: That we had to leave.
Cons: Smell. Bed, carpet. All old out of date. This is the 70' and 80' when they allowed to smoke in hotel. Now 2015 no smoking is allowing in the hotel. But the smome still smelled in the hotel room. I know why the bed and the carpet are from the 80'.
Cons: No wifiNo remote for tv
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Cannot check in after 9. Office totally closed. Kitchen from 1975? Pool closed at dusk. Check out time at 11 but online said 11:30. I felt very unwelcome.
Pros: The pool was large and clean.
Cons: Old rooms and, furniture..Bed uncomfortable, noisy air conditioner.not the cleanest
Pros: The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Clean and comfortable. This is a hotel straight out of the 50's, so if you're expecting something more, you'll be disapointed. We will stay again when in the area.
Pros: We liked the price the location and the staff.
Cons: The old room. Carpet was rough and uneven. The windows on the ground floor didn't lock, so we were worried about a break in. One of the beds was broke down.

When visiting Redington Shores, Sand Vista Vacation Rentals is a great choice to consider. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Great location, it was a place to sleep that was pretty much clean. It had a nice pool. The refrigerator in our room was newer and clean.
Cons: The stove, oven, and microwave were not up to par- we did not cook in them. No maid service at all even though the reservation says there is. Towels every three days is crazy. I had one somewhat warm shower all week and there is no water pressure.
Pros: Room nice and clean. Pet friendly a bonus
Cons: shower gets only up to lukewarm temp. Price was $---a night which was a bit much for this type of motel
Bring a hair dryer.
Pros: The location was great. There is a trolley that you can take to all the beaches and sites.
Either priceline or hotel misleads customer about amenities available
Great staff. They have been running for 3 months now. I like the pool size. Cute place, nothing fancy. I like the place next door for food and drink, especially breakfast (bloody mary specials every sat and sun). It's not ocean front, but across the boulevard is close enough for me, and the rate was great. I will most likely return the next time I visit the area.
Pros: The staff was great. Good rate as well.
Cons: It was not beach front but knew it before booking. Wish the pool was open past 10PM
WAS OK HOTEL. ROOMS GOOD BUT SIGNS TALKING CASH RIDICULOUS. POOL CLOSING AT 11 WAS CRAZY NOT A 4 STAR BEEN TO OTHERS WEN POOL STOOD OPEN ALL NIGHT. DIDNT APPRECIATE THE LATE CHECK OUT PROCESS EITHER. OVERALL OK STAY BUT LIL THINGS IS WHAT I DIDNT APPRECIATE
Pros: location was great, rooms where better than expected
Cons: DID NOT LIKE THOSE TACKY SIGNS ALL OVER ROOM EXPLAININ G FEES THAT WILL BE CHARGED IF RULES NOT FOLLOWED...NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL THAT WAS ANNOYING. THE POOL CLOSING EARLY AND BEING TOLD TO BE QUIET BY STAFF WHEN WE WHERE NOT BOTHERING ANYONE.
The hotel was in a good location with beach access across the street. Cute clean comfortable rooms. Definately would stay again and bring the kids next time.
Pros: Cute compact clean rooms with friendly staff. Great location!
Cons: Need some new pillows.
Great location and pool was nice
Pros: The owners are extremely nice and take pride in their property
Cons: Loved it

When you stay at 810 Gulfside, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Sand Key Park. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, along with onsite kayaking. Rooms feature conveniences like kitchens, along with furnished patios and flat-screen TVs.
Pros: The motel owners were very friendly and accommodating. The unit was clean, perfect for a solo traveler like myself.
Cons: I recommend this motel for anyone, it's not the Ritz-Carlleton but it serves it's purpose. Close to the beach, clean and friendly staff!
Situated near the beach, this motel is within 2 mi (3 km) of Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, Town Square Nature Park, and Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf. Rita's Ice Cream and Island Marine Rentals are also within 3 mi (5 km).
Cons: Old and filthy!!!!! Would never recommend and will never stay again. Very disappointed. Thought search sites would only have quality hotels on it.
Pros: The hotel is a great location and has beachfront access. It is right on Gulf Shore BLVD near the 688 causeway. There are a couple of restaurants and bars across the street. A CVS is also nearby which is convenient. Room had a brand new ceiling fan which worked well. Front desk attendant was nice.
Cons: The overall cleanliness of the hotel is very sub-par. The hallways look like an abandoned insane asylum with low tile ceilings, rusted sprinkler heads, and old wood doors. Some of the room number signs were faded or failing off. Upon entering the room we were greeted with a musky smell, but we proceeded to turn on the lights and investigate the room. Filters on the AC were actually clean, but in the vents there was mildew buildup contributing to the smell. The room had a door that gave direct access to the beach and shared back patio. The room furniture is dated and the "kitchenette" is original to when the motel was built. There is a metal sink with two burners attached which seems like a dangerous combination. The counters were a mustard yellow with duct tape holding it down. The kitchenette was mildly stocked with cups, plates, and flatware. There was also a mini-fridge and microwave. The television was a tube TV from the 90's. The comforters had some holes in them and there were only 3 small pillows per bed. If you wanted ice you had to pay for it. The carpet was a dark forest green, so you cannot see how much build up is really on them. The bathroom smelled like smoke as we think it was coming in from the unit next door. The bathtub was dirty and bathroom poorly stocked. We booked this last minute and mainly for the location, but would not stay there again. We read reviews ahead of time and expected it to not be great, but it was far below 2.5 stars. We brought Lysol and Clorox cleanup to be safe! Wish we would have packed sleeping bags to be honest.
