Pros: Location, food, cleanliness, and friendly staff made this an excellent choice.
Pros: View and golf courses
Pros: VERY CLEAN ROOMS AND ATTRACTIVE LANDSCAPING, STAFF WAS VERY PLEASANT. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN
Pros: Very clean and pleasant staff. The room was a good size. Nice breakfast selection. Great value. The only negative was a mattress that lacked a lot of comfort.
Cons: Not really.
Pros: Location was good. Staff was friendly. Room was clean.
Cons: Room was too small for the price paid. Need more electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. The hot continental breakfast was average at best. Rubbery tasting food.
Pros: The staff was very friendly . Even with a problem, not of their own as a water main was broken on the highway resulting in some issues with their water quality, the staff went above and beyond to make sure the impact was minimal on their guests,
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
Pros: The scenery was breathtaking.
Cons: The room was extremely cold we tried bumping the thermostat to 77 to try & have it somewhat closer to 70, the thermostat may not have been working right, my husband is never cold & he was even complaining. Also the shower lever was not easy to use..
Pros: Clean hotel with a friendly staff.
Cons: No complaints
The hotel and our room had the most beautiful view of the mountains. It was amazing to say the least. The grounds were beautiful. This was by far the nicest of any chain hotel that I have ever stayed at. In the future, I will definitely seek out Hampton Inn's. Hopefully all others measure up to this location. This location seemed to be newer, perhaps less than 7-8 years old. It was so clean you could eat off of the floor if you wanted. It had a small indoor pool which was refreshing and a hot tub that was so hot and oh so relaxing. There is an exercise room there which I used but when someone else comes in you almost feel forced to leave because its so small, but it is adequate for sure. The breakfasts there were great. It wasn't your typical continental breakfast. Daily there was oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, waffles, yogurt, breads, pastries, juices, coffee etc...It was very filling and delicious. I wished we could have stayed longer. Nicest hotel I have stayed at for sure. The hotel is right on a golf course which makes for beautiful scenery however at some points the hotel was 'overrun' with pompous golfers. other than that, I highly recommend the Blairsville Hampton Inn.
Pros: The hotel itself and the rooms were VERY clean, the beds were so comfy, like sleeping on a cloud, the pillows were so soft, the scenery was AMAZING! Breakfast was very adequate much more than your typical continental breakfast. Most beautiful duvet covers
Cons: Hotel was so crowded that you could not find any 'carts' to take your luggage to your room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating but did not seem to go above and beyond. That's the only bad things.
We return here often and always enjoy the hotel and the adjoining golf course. Many hiking trails (mostly rails-to-trails) are nearby.
Pros: Rooms are far larger than other hotels in the same price range. Location is beautiful, with mountains surrounding the area.
Cons: Not many restaurant options in the area.
Pros: Hotel was very clean, nice breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons: Loved everything

The Hampton Inn & Suites Blairsville Pennsylvania Hotel is the newly constructed home to two championship golf courses, Chestnut Ridge and Tom's Run, and an on-site restaurant and meeting and banquet facilities. We love having you here at the Hampton Inn & Suites Blairsville hotel in Pennsylvania!
Cons: The woman working the front desk at night was interesting. I asked if they had a fork she did not want to walk to get it but pointed me in the direction to get it. I was shocked at her response 'yes we have one no I dont want to walk and get it for you.'
Pros: Location. Check in staff were friendly. We finished early with the things we needed to accomplish the day we checked in. We asked for an early check-in and was accommodated.
Cons: The evening staff person had her boyfriend there all shift. She watched TV with him in the lounge and then moved to an outside bench. She was sitting on that bench from about 630pm until I went to bed at 11pm. We heard and saw them through the room window
Pros: Tea and coffee station. Bedding was nice.
Cons: No meat item at breakfast.
Pros: Very clean, breakfast
Cons: The furniture in the breakfast area was AWFUL!! It was so surprising because the rest of the hotel was pristine! It was so bad that it left a brown dust on all of our clothes.
Pros: The staff from check in and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. Hotel employee at check-in made arriving pleasant especially with two tired children. Hotel employee from housekeeping went out of her way to help make sure we were fully and pr
Cons: I didn't like the showerheads
Pros: I have no complaints about the hotel. It was a very comfortable, relaxing stay, I would return if I was wvwn in the area again!
Cons: I didn't like the advertisment for this hotel. I was looking for a hotel near IUP, Punxsetawny Campus, and this hotel states its 2 miles from IPU. I booked it then found out it's 2 miles from the main campus!
Everything was great. Will probably stay there again once my son enrolls in IUP this fall.
Pros: Location to IUP, breakfast and cleaniness
Cons: A little pricy, but not many other hotels in the area. So it was worth the price.
An immaculate room and bathroom made this hotel stand out from others in the same price range. Comfy bed, quiet room and a small indoor pool and Jacuzzi just added to the experience. Though the hotel was just outside the city, it was 5 minutes or less from the university, downtown and nearby eateries.
Pros: The staff was lovely and the room was comfortable. Their breakfast had many options and was available for a good amount of time. If Indiana, PA is where you need to be or just a stop along the way, this is a worthwhile stay.
Cons: The location is convenient, but the entrance to the parking lot was a bit hard to find at night.
Pros: Rooms were okay, staff is friendly and breakfast was okay
Cons: Lots of noise. Neighboring room had alarm go off for about 15-20 minutes early in the morning, had to call front desk to turn it off. Was also charged an extra 40 dollars on my credit card because of a billing mix up, still trying to get it resolved after having called twice and being promised a refund. Just stay at a cheaper place, you'll get the same quality of sleep for less.
Pros: The room and hotel it self was very clean and comfortable. Nicely decorated and good service.
Pros: The shower and sink areas are separated. Having a fridge, microwave, iron & ironing board, and hair dryer are nice to have as standard equipment in the room.
Cons: The mattress was the worst mattress that I ever slept on in a hotel. The rest of the room was fine.
The breakfast was very limited. Poor selection of fruit and no protein to eat. The waffle maker is the best!
Pros: Nothing I saw.
Cons: 2 guys sitting on the ground in a parking space cooking on a portable grill. Dumpster overflowing and gate for dumpster hanging like it was half torn off its hinges. Signs on building all blacked out so you couldn't tell if it was a Comfort Inn or what it was. It looks like it's out of business from the outside. Walked around inside and found the advertised "pool" which was a disintegrated, moldy, hole of cracked concrete with no water. There were cables of some sort strewn across the top of the doorway in one stairwell that looked like they were only tied up with wire. I wasn't sure what was going on, if the building was under construction or closed? I bailed and stayed elsewhere. I contacted Hotels.com, who contacted the hotel, and according to the customer service agent, the hotel wouldn't refund my (prepaid) money. Without any argument from me, Hotels.Com did refund my money however. Thank you Hotels.com for doing the right thing.
Pros: Was in a good location to get in and out of the city quickly, and had recognizable fast food chains near by if you were hungry and needed something quick.
Cons: There were ants in our room from day one before we even brought in any food. Also the maid service didn't really come in at all. She took out the trash but didn't get us new towels or any kind of turn down service. Which is disappointing at 81 dollars a night. The breakfast was okay. The waffle machine was broken and it was the only source of hot breakfast they had so that was disappointing. Overall it works if you are desperate because there aren't many hotels in the area but it's definitely not worth the money. So if you can find some where a little further way I suggest it.
