Pros: Nothing!!! Horrible airline with horrible staff members.
Cons: Everything. The staff and crew of Intercaribbean airlines are very unprofessional and not helpful at all. On top of the flight delays all the luggage for that particular flight was left in Kingston. Everybody was rather nonchalant and unapologetic about the situation. I was told I would get the the following day. The next day only two of my three bags showed up. I was not compensated for the inconvenience and was told point blank that they will only deliver one of my bags to my address even though they were the reason I had NONE of my luggage in the first place. They are disgusting!!! I would never recommend this airline to anyone.review from -

Pros: almost nothing
Cons: The plane had a problem that forced us to turn around right after take off and as of this writing we still don’t know what’s going on or how long we are stuck here. Planes are old and apparently maintenance could be better.review from -

Cons: Arrived admittedly later than i normally would due to ferry issues but it should’ve been plenty of time to board the flight. No one was at the check in area and 20 min later when we located someone from intercaribbean we were told it was now too late but we could get a refund but later refused

Intercaribbean needs to improve
Pros: Flew from San Juan to Tortola. Flight was delayed, didn't inform us at check in. More importantly, when we took off an hour and a half late, they didn't load ANY of the bags on the flight!! None of the passengers on our plane received their checked bags. We waited over 20 minutes before they informed us no bags were coming. Then told us they didn't know where the bags were. We called at 4:30, they said they had our bags and would put on the 6:30 ferry. Went to meet ferry, no bags. Called again, first woman said they didn't know where our bags were. When I explained everything she was able to locate them, thankfully, and they ended up on 9pm ferry. Communication needs to be better!!review from -

Good , no frills
Pros: Staff was friendly, flight attendant was friendly and helpful with customs forms.
Cons: Counter and boarding gate was down in a very delapidated area of the airport and far away from shops and services. Impresssion was that a professional presentation is not important. Small sandwich sign marks entrance to check -in.review from -

Charged for a second ticket and a transfer fee
Cons: My previous flight by Southwest landed an hour late causing me to miss my connector with InterCarribean by two minutes. Ten minutes after the plane departed, I called the InterCarribean online booking number to get on a flight later that day. After I got off of the phone and received my emailed receipt, I saw that I was charged the full price of the flight later that day and charged a $50 fee for adjusting my departure time without being refunded my initial ticket fare. However, I had called 20 minutes after my initial flight had taken off so I shouldn't have been charged a $50 transfer fee plus the cost of a second ticket ($170). So at the end of the day I bought two tickets for different flights plus a $50 transfer fee. I am hoping that maybe I can get this corrected but not overly hopeful. After getting confirmation that I had a seat on the second flight, I went to check in but there was no place to check in unless I exited through baggage claim and go to the primary check-in desk. Since I only had a carry-on I wanted to avoid having to stand in line and go through security again this but there were no InterCarribean locations on the concourses until my 6pm flight four hours later. I went to the main check-in desk and stood there for 90 minutes for a person to come out to man the desk. After I got my boarding pass, everything was OK.review from -

Overview of interCaribbean Airways
interCaribbean Airways aims to serve the countries and territories spread across the Caribbean Sea. From a hub in Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, local and vocational travel is available to three domestic destinations. It plays a major role in connecting the isolated islands and is one of only a few airlines to operate in the region. The carrier is recognized as the flag carrier for the Turks and Caicos Islands.
International routes traveled by interCaribbean Airways reach the Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the British Virgin Islands. A wide-reaching network is spread across the West Indies region, including Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Saint Martin, and Saint Lucia.
Only Economy fares are offered, meaning passengers are destined to have similar experiences and enjoy the absence of class separation. A carry-on bag weighing no more than 10 lb is permitted per customer. Complimentary checked luggage is also provided, with weights varying between 44 lb and 70 lb depending on the route flown. Baggage allowances are generally lighter at smaller airports across the West Indies and heavier on larger islands in the Caribbean.
A combination of Embraer, Britten-Norman and de Havilland aircraft are used by interCaribbean Airways. The most commonly flown model is the Embraer 145 jet, which has twin turbofan engines and the capacity to hold 50 passengers. Planes in the fleet are decorated with a yellow stripe that extends along half of the fuselage and onto the tail. The other colors of the Turks and Caicos Islands flag (blue, pink and green) also feature on the jets.
