Pros: I liked the overall atmosphere. Very relaxing. Angela was very patient and understood my situation when it came to modify my booking dates.
Cons: Some nets installed in the dorms would be very appreciated as there are lots of mosquitos in the night!
Pros: Good breakfast Wonderful location and kite facilities Great beachboy
Cons: Small wiggly beds in dormitory, no available lockers and limited room for belongings Felt crowded, limited outside space or privacy Restaurant vegetarian for breakfast/lunch, vegan for dinner. Management not overly accommodating or efficient
Pros: Very nice downwind!! Flat water in the lagune, a bit busy but only few people at the sea! Angela is very nice and efficient! Many thanks!
Pros: Beautiful hotel bungalows that are clean and homely! Staff were friendly and helpful. Free safe option and cooked breakfast option. A quiet rule after 10pm was really noticeable. Made for a good night sleep.
Cons: It took a while to order hot breakfast items. The bar could use a bit of work.
Pros: Amazing breakfast. The place is amazingly presented...and the outdoors lounge area is paradise.
Cons: Their system apparently has issues related to what comes on what rooms, in relation to bookings. At the same time they don´t accept credit cards! which is not nice.
Pros: The location is really nice and the property is literally in front of the kite lagoon. We liked the Eco friendly approach of the owner of not using any plastic and providing free water to refill your bottles. It was also interesting to have vegan breakfast for a change which was tasty. They offer a very good massage and kite lessons at their premises. Very professional and effective if you are heading for sports. Significantly more expensive than in Cumbuco (~250 reais per private session VS ~135 per private session in Cumbuco). The place is perfect to learn kitesurfing as the water is flat and the direction of the wind very convenient. They provide kite lockers which is great, although keep in mind that if it rains you gear will be soaked...
Cons: The double bed was the standart size which is 140cm, so it felt a bit small. It's isolated so there is nothing to do besides going to the other Pousadas for a drink or a different dinner than the Vegan option at Coco knots. The kite launching area is the smallest in front of Coco knots which is not appropriate for beginners. If you stay during the weekend then keep in mind that it's the closest Pousada to the main square where the party and live music lasts at least till 1am so the noise will be pretty intense. The biggest downside is the lack of payment by card. It's a big hassle to withdraw cash in the area and of course no ATMs in the village. Angela the owner assured us that she working on it so hopefully this pain will go away soon... Finally the breakfast area could be configured more efficiently. When it rained you would have to literally enter the kitchen to get your breakfast and they had a tiny toaster for all the guests. Even though we were 4 people, you need to line up for a toast.. Those things are easy to solve :/
Pros: Top location! Super friendly host. Very good food (vegetarian breakfast, vegan dinner, top juices and acai bowls). Do highly recommend this pousada. Definitely come again.
Pros: Excellent vegetarian and healthy cousine
Pros: Location! Just in front of the lagoon, so if you're the kite surfer it's perfect! The host helped me with organization of kite lessons, but it wasn't good teacher. Plus chilling lounge, very good.
Cons: The rooms are very small and hot. The restaurant is not the best (I'm vegan and I didn't like the food too much). Breakfasts very good.

Pros: The chalets are amazing and have a perfect view of the lagune. Pump the kite and go! Breakfast is simple but good, and they have a pretty extensive lunch and dinner menu, with an Italian chef! Gianluca and Sarah were super kind and helpful. We had some material issues and Gianluca jumped into his car to get it fixed for us (the same day we got it repaired, so didn't lose any time). The pousada also has a kiteschool and instructor, so always someone to help launch/land and also material available for rent. Overall great experience and great kite spot! (Don't forget boots to avoid cuts from sharp rocks/shells)
Cons: The chalet could warm up a bit at night if the wind completely drops. Because there is no fan/ac, you need to wind to cool down during the day and night. Luckily it is only 23-25 degrees at night and the wind acts as a fan. A
Pros: Spacious, comfortable, original, calm, clean bungalow, good bed, fresh flowers every day. Pefect Kite facilities (spacious lawn, washing, storage, beach assistance) and great kite spot. Delicious breakfast and superb restaurant with italien and brasilien dishes. Warmhearted, welcoming host who will help you with everything you need. Casa suica really doesnt leave any wishes open - a perfect stay that could not have been better!
Pros: The fiod was amazing! Every dish we tried was amazing
Cons: The mosquito’s
Pros: Very comfy place. The owner, Gian Lucca, is very attentive and worried that all guests are happy and satisfied. The food is excellent! We tried about everything in the menu and all was delicious ! The kite school is also excellent with new equipment and great instructors. We absolutely loved our 9 day stay at Casa Suiça!
Cons: A pool would be nice...
Pros: Very nice chalets with lovely details, great food, great shower... directly at Ilha do Guariju. Giancarlo and his girlfriend were a great host!!!
Cons: all was perfect!!!
Pros: Having your own nicely designed chalet.
Cons: 1. Expensive. I have travelled a lot around Brasil and it is one of the most expensive pousada I have seen. 2. Bad practices - as soon as I booked my stay I was asked for my personal email, then I received an email asking me to order a wire at once for 50% of the price of the stay on the personnel banc account of the owner in Switzerland. I have been using Booking for years: never seen that (and it is said on Booking that no deposit is required). - the owner does not know that there is a public bus line going from Jijoca to Fortaleza, which stops in Itarema, 5 mn away from his pusada. However, he knows that he could send you his driver for a more than 100 euros drive. - the owner exercise pressure on customers in order to get good ratings (I received messages and phone calls one week after my stay). This explains the HUGE gap between ratings and reality. 3- insufficient services - worse breakfast ever seen in a brasilian pusada (Do not try to toast your bread, you ll get dirty fat on it since the machine has not been cleaned up for... months/years?) - no hot water: forget about taking a hot shower - no air conditional but no fan either. If you open the louvers during the night because you re hot, you’ll get light and mosquitos - there is nothing to do when the tide is low (no pool for example). I do not recommend this pusada, which is far too expensive for what you get
Pros: The perfect place to clear your mind, kitesurf in front of the garden, enjoy nature and the great Italian/Brazilian food that is served in the restaurant. On top of this, Casa Suica is run by 2 extremely friendly and authentic guys (Gianluca and Gigi) and other also very friendly and helpful staff, which makes for an outstanding experience.

Certain units include views of the sea or garden. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Pousada Kite Guajiru features free WiFi throughout the property. There is luggage storage space at the property.
Pros: - Very good location for Kitesurfing: at 10m from the spot, very few people on the water, and always kiteable. Higher in the lagune it gets really crowded and the tide gets so low you sometimes can´t kite. - Adorable owners, who make great pasta and are always there to help. - The pousada is relaxed, cute and cosy. - I highly recommend the 15km downwind that the pousada offers as an excursion.
Cons: - Not very easy to reach. You have to take a bus from Fortaleza to Itarema (fretcar) and then find a taxi to do the last 15min. Renting a car is better to get there. - The one-person room I had was just next to the kitchen and not isolated, thus pretty noisy in the morning. There is only one room like this though, the rest is located on the other side of the pousada and were very quiet (my friends feedback). - It's a 10min drive from all restaurants/bars of Guajiru.
Pros: The Kitespot is ok between high and lowtide. The Portuguese staff is friendly and works hard.
Cons: If you dont have a car, you can only get away by taxi, and you have to eat and drink in the pousada what was just overpriced for us. The rooms are extremely poorly soundproofed you can hear everything from the neighbors. We decided to stay because the kitespot was not bad. And up on the main spot of Ilha do goijuru was it to crowded. The owners, Italien couple, seem friendly at surface but don't know was hospitality is. Get angry and deflate your Kite because is in their way, say one Thing and do the other but the worst part is , that she lie and twist the truth as it fits her. if you want to stay there, book with booking. com . then she has to follow rules. And It's at the and cheaper for you. the kite pousada goijuru was our only bad experience we had on our 2 month trip in Brazil. When we return to ilha, we look for another Hotel. Dont treet your guests Like this.
Pros: Wilmar and Carlos are awesome hosts -they are super friendly and helpful. Wilmar is a superb cook and serves great Italian dinner. Yummy ! The kitesurf spot is directly in front of the poussada and it's not crowded. I had a fantastic time there and I am planning to come back in a few days - I can fully recommend the pousada
Pros: The atmosphere was awesome! Wilma and Carlos are amazing, tasty food and great location for kitesurf.
Cons: Wifi signal at the rooms was weak
Pros: Lovely tasteful accomodation, clean and relaxed atmosphere, amazing location, friendly and helpful owners, great value. best spot for kiting in my opinion.
Cons: No fan in the room made it a tiny bit on the warm side.
Pros: it was the only place available. The pousada is nicely decorated and would qualify for a good low cost pousada.
Cons: horrible Location vor kiting at high Tide, no place to land or start the kite. dangerous for kite and kiter. Broken shingles everywhere. If you do not have a car to drive to Ihla de Guajiru Center, do not come here. the comfort is really very low, no linen but some blankets that were clean I hope, but as a guest you cannot really say with colored blankets. In this price category other pousadas along the coast offer much better comfort and service. the welcome sheet in the room was in italian only. the breakfast coffee however was horrible, I would have prefered this to be italian. Not really customer oriented and unfriendly towards Brasilians.
Pros: Wilma e Carlo make your stay simply like being at home In front of paradise They enjoy your stay as much as you do And mamma Mia...:the Home made pasta ! When (and if) I ever grow up; I want to be like them!
Pros: The owners are reeeally nice, huge and delicious breakfast, best spot in lagoon, not as crowded as in main spot
Cons: You can hear everything from your neighbours in the room.

Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours).
Pros: Location, swimming pool in front of the lagoon
Cons: Smelly room, next to the kitchen for the "garden view" so noisy in the morning. Place got ongoing work so difficult to find and it gets a bit noisy
Pros: Excellent hotel, all needs within close reach, very nice staff, service and facilities. You just dont need to walk far for anything. Very recommended. A super spot for kiteboarding right on front.
Cons: The municipality was reforming the parking so little messy. But it was finishing so then its a lot better to park.
Pros: We woke up with a delicious breakfast buffet. Most of the food was made directly in front of us. The breakfast is served in the lovely garden. We found the silence in the night and morning very welcome: not always usual in Brazil. The pool is also very nice: we spent there many hours. The rooms were impeccably clean. We liked a lot our stay! Grazie from Laura!
Cons: Missing was only a nice espresso Italiano!
Pros: The location. The place is right in front of the kitespot. I also like that there was everyday cleaning what is not very common in Brazil. I also did like the compressor to pump the kite. The staff and the owner are doing everything to make you feel comfortable.
Cons: Non of the following is about the accomodation! Just about the spot! There should be more sand and less rocky shore. It would be safer for the kites :). And also you have to look out for the tides and shells.
Pros: Extremely friendly and assisting staff. Impressive location. Wonderfully acccomodation.
Cons: They could improve the signs to get there.
Pros: Excellent hotel. Perfect!
Cons: We Will come back for sure!
Pros: Perfect place for kite h olidays. Very close to the water. Nice kiteschool in the property, well equipped. Excelent facilities. Nice clean rooms with spectacular views.
Cons: We went too short. Next time we stay min 1 week.
Pros: Great Hotel, clean & spatious, all the staff is available, carefull and nice. Great breakfast and the tea time very pleasant! Definetly a great choice!

Pros: The place is simple, cheap and it's OK for a quick trip for 1 or 2 nights.
Cons: There was no division between the bathroom shower and the toilet, after taking a shower the toiled got all wet. The breakfast could be a little better too.
Pros: the location is awesome, just in front of the water, very helpful staff to launch and land your kite. the breakfast was great, special compliment to Rita that makes a wonderful tapioca and is very friendly!! looking forward to go back!
Pros: Amazing staff , I lost a kite item and they kept it for me. Very honest and transparent
