Quick check in & quick check out Nothing
The room was clean. The pool access and pool itself were great. The sheets on the bed were awful, especially for summer time. They were thick and rough, and the thickness made it very hot while sleeping. The AC control in the room was a joke, didn't work or bring temperature down, too hot. The mattress was not comfortable at all either. Other than that, the room was fine, but I wouldn't consider what we got worth the price of paying for a "suite". Next time we won't be upgrading to a suite and may not stay at Cactus Petes.
The room was very nice!
Clean, spacious, new looking rooms.......comfortable Great for an overnight stay
The room was huge, well appointed and quiet. Water pressure in the shower was outstanding. Staff knew exactly how to treat guests, and the place was SPOTLESS! Didn't get to try the pool since it rained the entire time I was there. The wi-fi at the facility is way overworked. Everytime I tried to log in I had to call their IT support and then they would reset the server. That took a phone call back to the hotel, then about 20-30 minutes for the in-house IT guy to reset the system. Incredibly inconvenient and a very simple fix. Hard to communicate with family and friends when you can't get online. That was truly the only irritant I had, other than the fact that NEVADA is still in the '70's and smoke ruled the air in the casinos. Early morning was good, but after about 2p.m. my allergies got slammed and I had to leave.
The price was good and the hot tub is 24 hour. Dirty! From hair in my towel to actual feces on the comforter of the second bed. If for not being so late at night I would have left.
The showers had a good water pressure. The rooms were a little dated, but were sufficiently comfortable. The accommodations definitely exceeded expectations based on the price of the room. Checkin was across the street at a different hotel. No wifi available.
new, clean, and the room was good-sized. Very nice pool and spa. There are three restaurants to choose from- these we all in the newer resort, Pete's, where we stayed. the other one, Horseshu is older. The Pictures shown were from both resorts/casinos. We thought we were staying in the tower according to the photos. But we were booked at the older resort across the street. We ended up paying the difference to stay at the newer Pete's. I felt the photos were misleading and it didn't represent what we booked.
Clean and quiet. Check in was weird-across the street. I looked and could find nowhere in the confirmations that this was how to do it. If it was there, it was not obvious. No little information book in the room about restaurants, etc. No wifi, or if there was, it wasn't offered or mentioned in the room or by staff.
I was able to bring my pets with me. Everything was pleasent and clean. The check in is across the street at cactus Petes. It is very inconvenient to walk or drive across a street just to get your room.
The bathroom had hot water and the shower head was high enough to wash your hair. The first room we were given had a broken toilet. The second room had broken lights. The staff does not seem to care in the least. Ice machine in the hall that was broke down two years ago is still broken. The place also smells like mold. I will never stay at the Four Jacks again. It is well worth it to pay more for one of the other hotels.
The only negative was, the reception on the tv system was pretty bad. But hey, we weren't there to watch tv! So all in all, it was very good lodging.
Not a thing. No more than ten minutes after we checked into our room the manager knock on our door insisting an odor of marijuana was coming from our room. The local sheriff was called and confirmed no such odor could be smelled in our room. Our party was kicked off the premises and told a refund would be granted. When we went to get our refund we were told we were trespassing and absolutely no refund would be given. I have never experienced such an ordeal in my life and would encourage all to stay elsewhere.
