Pros: The Inn and grounds are amazing. The Innkeepers and staff, very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful, bed extremely comfortable. This was my second visit to Adair, and I'm looking forward to returning. We had a wonderful time there, 9.5/10 +
Cons: The restaurant is very good, but not as outstanding as the rest of the Inn, (8/10 rather than 10/10). Truly, it's very good, just not great.
Pros: Perfect place for a romantic trip. Hotel Employee was so helpful in helping me and my gf understand the surrounding area. He also helped us plan a great trip through white mountain. The grounds for the inn was excellent and we will be back again.
My wife and I stayed at the Inn for our anniversary. We hiked in the area and checked in late in the day. Driving up the long driveway, we were amazed by the beauty of the grounds and the Inn. The innkeepers were delightful. Our room was fabulous. The breakfast was excellent. This inn far exceeded our expectations. The price isn't low, but it's a bargain. We will definitely return, and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful elegant country inn.
Pros: The Inn itself, and the grounds are magnificent. Too many positive things to mention.

Pros: This was a great experience with a charming host and hostess, comfortable room and bed, well-appointed bathroom... Great breakfast in the morning, with a flexibility that allowed me a simple egg instead of French toast.
Cons: No disappointments, no negatives....
(Hotel employee) went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel comfortable and happy during our stay.Their friendly outgoing nature combined with their beautiful and tidy house made our romantic escape to NH one of the best B&B experiences we have ever had. The free parking, breakfast, and wifi were equally great. Our room was so beautifully maintained and cleaned we hardly wanted to leave to explore the surrounding mountains. We have already recommended The lion and the rose to all of our friends and can't wait to go back again!!

Cons: The weekend we visited, there were a bunch of families (at a conference) who let all their screaming children run amok (probably about 30 children). They were loud, obnoxious, rude, and without any visible supervision. The resort staff did not do anything to alleviate this, which resulted in a poor atmosphere.
Cons: Wedding party yelling and music in back of bks till I called front desk at 2am

Pros: I enjoyed the convenience of the location. The room was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was excellent!!
Cons: Anyone staying at this hotel should bring a small fan. The air conditioner didn't work well and the staff will mention about it when you check in.
Pros: Beds and bathroom were clean. Friendly staff. Lots of choices for continental breakfast. 6 miles from Santa's Village.
Cons: On a main route and next to a grocery store (which can also be a plus). Store resupply trucks are noisy at night. Rugs could use replacing.

Cons: keys kept de-activating, was rather a pain and annoying.
Pros: very pleasant scenic spot in white mountains, well worth it,
Cons: Bathroom door was way to close to toilet
Pros: Really nice bed and comforter. Free breakfast. Nice clean place.
Cons: Light from the parking lot pointed right at window and way too much light came in around the curtain. We had to stuff towels around the window to make it dark enough to sleep. Rang bell three times at the front desk and no one ever came.
Pros: Clean, affordable, friendly staff, very easy to find, located near stores.
Cons: Breakfast area was a bit crowded. Would recommend they remove the 4 small tables and spread the breakfast out more. However, the breakfast had a lot of options and was tasty.

Pros: Old but beautiful! The grounds are absolutely beautiful lots of activities to do.
Cons: The food in the restaurant was terrible. We had dinner for four and all of our meals were horrible. Also, we were sat at 6:50pm and didn't receive our entrees intill 8:20pm. The restaurant manager apologized and said he has his complaint all the time.

Pros: The room itself was fine. The lodge was old. The furniture upstairs was covered with dust covers( apparently don't sit here) and the furniture was very old. The drapes to the walk out porch were pulled closed so you couldn't go out. It had seen better days.
Cons: The whole town was basically closed up. Only place open to eat was a pizza joint. Everything else was closed.

Pros: Staff was wonderful. I loved sitting under the roof on the porch watching it rain
Pros: I have stayed here before. The hotel is close to the trails. The rooms are always clean and updated. They have a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Staff is more than friendly.
Pros: It was a simple hotel with air conditioning, easy check in and checkout process. We reached late and someone helped us. Parking was free but it was hard to find one as it was a busy long weekend. The rooms were nice and comfortable although a bit costly.
Pros: Hosts are amazing. They gave us nice tour program which was fantastic
Pros: Small town friendliness of the staff.
Pros: Staff was great and location was wonderful.
Cons: Rooms were fairly dated, the bathroom door didn't fully close, and the shower head (not the pressure) was too spread out.
Pros: Location, pool, bouncy house, clean, modern
Pros: Not much
Cons: Reserved a queen bed and ended up with two very uncomfortable twin beds. Disappointing
Pros: Great location and value for money. Hotel Employee was very accommodating and our room was quite spacious. We booked in again for our return trip!
Pros: The room it self was clean.
Cons: The bathroom has much to be desired. It is very small. The toilet is located to close to the floor. There is barely enough room to acess the toilet. The toilet plugged up and needed to unplugged. Air Cond. need updating.

Good to know where not to stay again
Cons: food-no gluten free options for anyone with celiacs, front desk said we have carrots.
Beds-loud way to soft
Room was stufy
right off the bat the front desk clerk had trouble pointing the way to the room and how to get there.
Party next door till 2am, called front desk and they asked if we minded moving rooms, um hello
had to be 90 degrees in the pool area, no sliding doors open or exhaust fan on.
Pros: Food was great, rooms were clean and comfortable.
Parking lot complaints from others need to realize the winter snowmobilers stay there and trail head is in the parking lot, They leave snow covering for sleds to be able to drive thru.
It is a larger location for the area, Pool, Steam, Sauna, Hot Tub plus a game room and fitness area. All make this a nice family place to stay.
Pros: Location in relationship to my activities during stay. Cost - affordable. For a family there is a game room and pool. The restaurant offer affordable dining for a family.
Cons: This is the second winter stay I have made at this motel. First was in 2012 and now in 2014. Both visits had rain and cold temps. The driveway there freezes and the hotel does minimal maintenance. It was so slippery, it was dangerous. The restaurant is basic yet affordable. Staff could use better training. This is true for the front desk. Being there is as if there is not management on site. If there was, they were not doing there job. With this said, I will likely return knowing not to expect too much. Internet connection was not reliable.

Pros: Awesome views. Good breakfast & use of all amenities at Omni.
Pros: it did it's job. The breakfast was good and included!
Cons: The shuttle service that is included in the hotel resort fees you pay can take forever. The morning we wanted to go skiing, we waited with a group of people for over a half hour or more. It was an extremely frustrating start to the day.
Pros: We stayed here for a recent trip to Santa's Village. Most of the other guests were here for the resort. If your here for the resort, it seems like you will have a fine time. The views are amazing. Breakfast was good but they need more food, they ran low.
Cons: I had a lot of issues with the WIFI my entire stay, but the check-out clerk kindly refunded the resort charges as a courtesy.
Pros: Amenities and golf course
Cons: Got possible bed bugs from hotel.
Cons: The hotel was average, but overpriced for what it was.
Pros: Indoor pool
Cons: 1st floor rooms can get noisy from footsteps from 2nd floor. Creaky floors!
Pros: The Staff were awesome friendly and helpful, The coffee in the breakfast area was very good and having it available all day was perfect for people on vacation not getting much sleep.Overall good motel and great view would stay again.

Pros: Free breakfast and swimming pool.
Cons: Not closer to Franconia state park or to Mt. Washington.
Pros: Location is fantastic, and easy access to the skiing and the Mt Washington Hotel.
Cons: I have stayed here a few time, and always on the second floor. This time we stayed on the first, and I could hear the people upstairs all night, and everyone walking in the morning. the rooms seem to have gotten worse with each stay
Pros: Beautiful views, great shuttle service around the resort.
Cons: Mice! Woke up to rustling noises in the trash, where take-out containers from supper had been thrown away. Saw a mouse. Front desk staff came and took trash away, but did nothing else. Mouse activities continued. In the morning, dead mouse in toilet.

Skiers will appreciate the free ski shuttle, along with access to ski storage, rentals, and lessons.
Pros: Location is good. view is great and so is the staff . The AC worked GREAT ! thank you!
Cons: The Wi-Fi was poor ( limited and slow). The television is small but, then so was the room #6. (for a single person their was plenty of room). you have to remember to close the shade to the left of the front door because it is in direct line with the bathroom door (don't want to give someone out side a free show after taking a shower) ;-/ .
Pros: How private the little cabin was, it had everything we needed and was very clean. I loved the coziness of the decor in the cabin and the main office! The owner and staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful! Definitely worth every penny! We would love to go back again!
Cons: Not that we NEEDED it, but the wifi didn't work in our cabin, although the website said there would be wifi. It was almost a blessing in disguise to "unplug" though.
Pros: I thought it was a little pricey until I saw what I had. it had full kitchen and almost every tool you need. has barbecue area and fire pit shared and the neighbors were very nice. Pet friendly! Views of the mountains to die for.
Cons: The place needed some repairs and the stairs at the entry were difficult for an old lady and her disabled daughter. Could have used mor4e in room info about where to get food etc.

Pros: The entire staff was super friendly, room and bathroom were clean, had everything we needed and more. Highly recommended and we will be back to visit
Pros: we found the rooms nice and clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, good value for the price.
Cons: unfortunately the hot shower we had been looking forward to was delayed to due the need to refill the oil. But staff very apologetic and within the hour the showers were working again.
Cons: The fax machine was down so they did not receive the online request. It was lucky we called in. On a second trip up I called the day before going up to make a reservation and they made it but when i called to confirm the day of, they had not communicated between employees and I was almost not able to get a room.
Pros: Not much
Cons: Staff doesn't seem to know what they are doing. Kept getting calls saying the room wasn't paid for and it was paid for when it was reserved. Got woken up several times by these phone calls that were totally unnecessary. I will NOT use this hotel ever again!!!!

Pros: Location was good. Right by restaurants. Very friendly staff.
Cons: TV was broken. I'm glad I didn't have to use the air conditioner since it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Overpriced for what you got. The tourist season probably has something to do with it but still way more than it should be.
Pros: Clean; everything worked; shower was hot; could park our motorcycles right outside our door; some reviews said the beds were bad...and when you sit on it you might agree, however we slept GREAT!!!
Cons: No breakfast...
Pros: The courteous staff, the clean and comfortable room, the view of the White Mountains from the window, convenience for hiking in the White Mountains, and the reasonable price. This is second year that we have stayed at this motel.
