5.4 Okay
Pros: I paid for 2 rooms and 2 person in each room as We were planning to be 2 adult and 2 teenagers, but receptionist started to blame that we have cheated and he said that i paid for 2 rooms but only 3 persons and frighten me to put another person in my room, as i paid for one bed only. On the end I had to pay extra 120 eur to get the same room but second bed! Very rood welcome!
Cons: Receiptionis behaviour is not acceptable even for 1 star accomodation
5.4 Okay
Pros: The location of the hotel is good. It is calm place as the whole village as well. The rooms are really big and they were prepared for us. All major things included – towels at the room and at the pool. Personnel was not bad. Probably the only place in Juodkrante with a pool and a slide that works occasionally.
Cons: The price really does not match the quality. Rooms are big but during 4 days no one took care of them - just took the garbage tin out and maybe some vacuum cleaning. Breakfast was bad. Pancakes not edible and probably left there for two days. Juice was some kind of mixed water with some synthetic color. If you want mustard to be fulfilled – you have to ask as no one took care of that for few days. The hotel is totally out dated and we called it “time machine”” as it can take you 20 – 30 years back. It is soviet times style – for someone it might be a plus even. Pool slide is swithed on at 12 and 15 o'clock, so you can not use it as at that moment you stay at the sea - kids were disapointed with that.
6.3 Good
Pros: In general everything was okay. In this area (Kursiu Nerija), we have limited options to stay in hotels. Hotel location is perfect. Family rooms are okay. Friendly staff and nice bar. You can sit in silence in the evening in the bar... :) Also as additional you can have lunch for reasonable price.
Cons: I don't want to be negative, but for people with children, especially with children from abroad should now this: My son was expecting to have something in the evening, like in other normal hotels: mini disco or something for children. He was upset, that nothing happens in this hotel. This hotel have all facilities to make it happens, but this parts of the hotel are not in use at all. From other point of view: hotel are almost full for a quit high price. To stay in this hotel is the same price as in Birstonas Vytautas mineral SPA. There is no way to compare these two hotels. Only one thing is the same: price... :) As I understood, only location keeps this hotel alive, other vise it would be already bankrupted 15 year ago... Swimming pool - there is no swimming pool (some shimming pool from 1996) -swimming pool area is outdated (I would say: pictures are nice, but in reality this area is useless). There is nothing for children to play (only one very old unsafe jumping item up and down). If you desperately would like to visit Kursiu Nerija, then is ok to stay in this hotel. Most other options to stay in Kursiu Nerija are very extreme and for normal people is not acceptable. About area around: If you want to see how Lithuania was just after soviet union, then is nice place to be (Kursiu Nerija). All bicycle path and side walks are at least about 15-20 years old or even from soviet union. Its the same as it was, as I was small boy. Last time I visited Kurisu Nerija in 2009, and since then nothing changed - only everything is older. I just wanted to show this place to my son where I spend my summer holidays with my parents 30 years ago. Raganu Kalnas was something what I don't want to visit anymore. Is exactly the same view as it was in 1996... Stuck in time. Zero investment in this place. Other things: In Kursiu Nerija is still allowed to fly drones. Few pictures below. Nida - all children activities are to expensive, unsafe and useless.
6.3 Good
Pros: Location is excellent. The food is good. There is nice open air concert hall, pool and other nice things.
Cons: The payment system is 20 years old. No car reading fascility. People are forced to go to neighbouring cities for transfer. Rooms are too small with ancient TV sets.
