Twin Coast Adventures

Twin Coast Adventures is a great place to use as a base when completing the Twin Coast Cycle way. The accommodation was clean and offered a great kitchen complete with oven and BBQ. We were able to cook our own meals as Kaikohe did not have a huge range of dining out options.

The facilities were lovely and clean. Immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable, spacious living and bedrooms. The clean and tidy rooms were great.

Relaxed atmosphere, and the staff are always accommodating to our family needs. The staff was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. The manager was super friendly and helpful with everything.

Super convenient location for doing the Twin Coast Cycle Route and made easier by shuttle service which is available to book. The motel is also a full service bike rental site which is very convenient.

Plenty of parking space. Safe place to stay as it had secured parking and cameras outside the rooms. Free parking available.

Some guests mentioned that the motel units are in need of maintenance, so if available, consider booking a renovated unit for a more comfortable stay.

Several guests reported issues with the electric blankets not working, so it's advisable to check this upon arrival, especially during colder months.

Guests with families found the deluxe family room spacious and well-equipped, providing a comfortable stay with great value for money.

If planning to cook, it's recommended to inquire about the available cooking appliances in the room, as some guests found the kitchen lacking certain cooking amenities.

The location near the beach and supermarket was appreciated by guests, so consider requesting a room with a view for a more enjoyable stay.

Some guests experienced issues with hot water, so it's advisable to confirm the availability of consistent hot water before booking, especially during the winter season.

As some areas of the motel are undergoing renovations, it's advisable to bring a small heater if staying in a room affected by the renovations to ensure warmth during the stay.
