Nestled on the beach, this West Achaea property is within 6 mi (10 km) of Alykes Beach, Eleutheria Statue, and Kato Achaia Square. Gianiskari Beach and Strofylia Forest are also within 9 mi (15 km).
Pros: Amazing beach with very clean sea, nice sun beds (the beige ones), very beautiful stylish design throughout the whole hotel, very friendly stuff, all included resort, so good value for money. Live music, yoga and pilates almost every day.
Cons: At the beginning it felt like there are not enough seafood, but there were more seafood at the buffet towards the second half of our stay.
When you stay at Castella Beach in West Achaea, you'll be on the beach, within a 5-minute drive of Kato Achaia Square and Eleutheria Statue. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location, cleanliness
Pros: Great location, food excellent.
Pros: The hotel is wonderfully located right by the beach with deck chairs and a shower. There’s also a vast parking space and lots of greenery by the entrance.
Cons: The room was quite small. We booked a room for 3, and it seemed like they had just added another bed to a standard room. The space was really cramped. The service was awful. It seemed as if nobody wanted to work at this hotel. The waitress at the hotel restaurant had only three tables to keep an eye on but disappeared every time we needed her help. It was utterly disappointing.
Pros: Beautiful location right on the beach
Pros: The hotel is based in the first line to the beach. So even in Your room You can hear the noise of the waves and sea, which is nice. Room was clean, bathroom bit worn, air conditioner worked well. The hotel has sunbeds in the beach. You can order some drinks to be brought over there. We went to the town for a lunch, so cannot comment on the level of their kitchen, but the breakfast was even bit better than we expected from this hotel. I wouldn't wish to stay here for few more days, but it was OK to have one night stop.
Cons: The staff was not very helpful. We did not receive any recommendations, where to go, but all our questions were answered. The hotel has that usual specific smell (not pleasant for me) of hotels near the sea. Maybe it's because of constant moisture or some detergents - I am not sure.
Pros: Loved the proximity to the beach, the terrace and food were great! Very nice hosts.
Pros: The breakfast
Pros: Very friendly staff, great breakfest, nice location right on the beach, great value. Overall a great experience
Pros: Perfect location. All in one place- beach, hotel, Tavern. Delicious food and smiling staff.
Pros: The staff is very friendly; the location on the beach; breakfast is varied and very generous; the restaurants outlook overlooking the sea. Just beautiful.
Cons: The pillows were too flat, and the kids said they could feel the springs in the mattress on the bunk beds.

Pros: To say the truth what ever in the photos is totally different from the actual, specially the bathroom its half m2 and its low than the traditional bathroom.and soo on....

Pros: Cozy and modern room with balcony. Service is remarkable, with friendly and professional staff. Breakfast is one of the best I have tried. Homemade bread and sweets. Highly recommend. We hope to be back. Thank you!

Pros: restaurant, beach, sea
Cons: Air-conditioner was very weak
The Hotel Pavlina Beach is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of West Achaea. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings.
Pros: Nice and very friendly staff, ready to solve all encountered problems. Nice hotel's surroundings.
Cons: Old equipement in rooms (incl.conditioning system), medium cleanliness, food is just ok. Far away from all tourists atractions.
Pros: The buffet supper was excellent and well-priced! The pool was great! The coffee was good. Nice gift shop.
Cons: The beach was rocky at best. Breakfast was just "so so"....with not much choice. Staff was functional...at best.
Pros: Nice hotel with friendly stuff. It has great views and it is very close to the beach. The room was clean and we had good time staying there.
Cons: Maybe you can work a little bit more on the food options.
Pros: Staff is good. Area well maintained.
Cons: Beds are not perfect.
Pros: Lifeguard in swimming pool, really clean facilities inside the hotel.
Cons: Food was so poor and some of the foods were not hot as it should. Bar prices were overrated. The quality of drinks/coffee was too low. Outside of the hotel too much smelly garbage.
Pros: Great hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by it. Amazing views, great location and the staff was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Pros: Amazing family hotel in a quiet area near to one of the best beaches in Greece. Very good breakfast, very clean, everyday cleaning and every second day changing of sheets and towels. The owners very welcoming and warm.
Pros: The hotel is situated in a nice, quiet garden surrounded by nature. The owners and staff are very hospitable. It’s a great place to chill, with one of the best beaches just a walk away.
Pros: Very friendly owners. Nice place to be with kids.
Pros: Amalia's location is outstanding. It is tucked away in front of a hill in private gardens about 150 metres from the beach. It is very peaceful. The beach is soft yellow sand. The owner speaks excellent English and was very friendly and helpful. It is a family run hotel. Breakfast was a delicious buffet. Faultless. 10 out of 10!
Pros: Perfect , we was the only guests , hotel owner was out of this world , fantastic breakfast too , what an amazing location , will stay again without a doubt
Pros: Hotel is located in beautiful place, between trees and palms with relatively long distance form another hotel. Breakfast basic with good coffe.
Pros: The apartments were spacious, comfortable and clean. A great place to relax in. The outdoor pool was quite small but conveniently located near the studios and the bar. The staff were great, especially the owner, George, who made us feel very welcome. The food available at the bar was excellent and fresh.
Cons: Can't think of anything to complain about.
Pros: The staff are super friendly and the beds and rooms are super clean and confortable well maintained a must for a perfect vacay! Super accommodation for families as well we definitely will be back!
Pros: Local taverna lovely place for a meal, the host was welcoming.
Cons: We came in October and obviously a time where the local hotels "shut" for the season, we were the only guests. It was a little like a ghost town, perhaps our naivety. Hopefully in summertime the place is crawling with holidaymakers. Décor is a little dated, whilst beds were comfy and room certainly clean I think a bit of work needs to be done in the bathrooms on some of the fixtures/fittings
Pros: Perfect place very clean and organized

Pros: The staff were ultra friendly.
Cons: We would have liked 2 rooms next to each other as we were a family of 5.
Pros: Vry nice host, warm and nice village nearby
Pros: The hotel is right on the small beach, which is not private but is pretty quiet. Car parking is between the hotel and beach. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice big balcony. The garden is well kept and has seats and loungers available. Breakfast was individually served and was plentiful. This is a small village on the old through road from Patras to Corinth so nothing much to do, but fine for a short break away from the crowds or to overnight before/after a ferry crossing.
Cons: The hotel wasn't that easy to find - until we spotted the large sign on a taverna on the main street. You actually have to drive down to the beach then turn right to get to the hotel access, a bit confusing but worth the effort.
Pros: Very clean and quiet hotel. One can relax under umbrella in the green grass yard with the seaview. Short drive about 25 km west is perfect, long, sand beach with no crowds. If we will come back to GR again surely we will stop in this pleasent hotel operated by very polite owners ♥
Pros: Uninterrupted sea views from a fantastic balcony. Very helpful and kind hosts. Quiet location. A few issues with cooking equipment which were quickly resolved. Off of the main tourist trail which we loved.
Cons: A little dated but for us it added to the charm.
Pros: The hotel is actually on the beach. A beautiful place to escape from the crowd. Nice restaurant nearby.
Pros: Nice owners, clean rooms.
Cons: Not the nicest beach near the hotel, but aprox. 30 min a car ride good beaches and clear water.
Pros: Friendly staff. Nice design and furniture. Great views. Parking in front of hotel, good shower. Would recommend.
Cons: Room smelt of cigarettes. Not dirty but a lighter under the bed and hair bobble in the drawer.
Pros: The owners were welcoming and eager to please. The room was a nice size with clean, fresh linens, and a large balcony overlooking the Ionian Sea.

Pros: Nice family-run appartments directly on the main road, located only few km away from beautiful beaches Kalogria and one a little bit remote but less crowded and even more beautiful beach to northwest (I don't remember the name, ask owners, it is worth a visit). Apartments are small but clean and feature AC and fridge. All windows have mosquito nets, appartments in the upper floor have balcony. Bathroom is pretty big, compared to similar accomodations. House has big shared kitchen / dining room. Outside is a small terrace. Safe parking behind the gates. Owners are very kind and advised us where to go to the beach and dinner.
Pros: Host great !
Pros: Good bath.
Cons: Location. Dreadful. Mosquitoes. Ugly fields all around. Miles from anywhere. Without car forget it. Not much happening at night.
Pros: We only stayed for 1 night. We were happy with the setting of the house, your own room and a shared kitchen/living room. Everything was in the kitchen what you could need for making drinks or meals. The owner was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Also check out the beach at Kalogria. The waters are amazing and there are nice beach bars with free sunbeds. And as a bonus we could see jet fighters take off from the air base next to the house, very cool! (only during day, so don't worry about any noise at night)
Pros: The shared fully equipped spacious kitchen was the perfect place for all of us to have our breakfast and gather at night. The owner of the property was really friendly and kind.
Pros: Ok host, I found a mattress under the bed that was way comfier than the bed so slept on the floor on that.
Cons: Kitchen not really equipped for a lot of cooking, its down a weird long road amongst agricultural feilds, alot of barking dogs. Owner wouldn't let us put the fire on as it was cold(winter time) uncomfy beds, echoey noisy house, can hear everything, window rotten in bathroom and curtain pole held up with gaffa tape
Cons: I didn't like the fact that member of the staff was entering the guests rooms without knocking the door first. This was very rude and unprofessional.
Pros: The main reason to come here was to visit the Strofilia forest. A great place!
Pros: A nice clean, modern feeling apartment complex, with the bedrooms upstairs and a communal cooking/eating area on the ground floor. The wifi was good and stable and nice quite air-conditioning was a bonus. The nearby marshes and beaches are great.
Cons: The was a lot of heavy lorries from the nearby quarry thundering up and down the road right outside the house. The Greek air-force F16 jets were noisy when they took off, but they soon disappeared.
