Pros: Every thing
Cons: Charged a pet fee for an emotional support animal. Breakfast was pretty bleak.
Pros: The hotel is in a great location for my stay. The staff is friendly and the room was clean.
Cons: They didn't have a pool.
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, nothing super fancy, but nice!
Cons: Not enough tables and chairs for breakfast.
Pros: The room was great! The staff was great!
Cons: The breakfast area was way to small! It was packed full all mornings! With the hotel full and only 4 tables for breakfast!
Cons: Non working heater, and the staff.
Pros: I liked everything
With a stay at Alpine Lake Resort in Terra Alta, you'll be on a lake, and 15.5 mi (24.9 km) from Deep Creek Lake and 16.3 mi (26.2 km) from Wisp Resort. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The location is beautiful and we had a lovely weekend getaway! The rooms were clean. The staff are very friendly.
Cons: The facilities where the rooms are look run down on the outside. The place needs some work. The breakfast was packaged pastries and granola bars.
Pros: The room was very clean and cozy and was really nice just to walk just a few feet to the lodge for dinner
Cons: Terrible, nobody on site. Room smelled, bed was uncomfortable and had dead bugs. Disgusting
Cons: Location is horrible. GPS takes everyone through horribly damaged back roads. Other guests agreed. What they call a resort, is not a resort. It's a golf course. Hotel is not a hotel. You check in at the lodge. The so called hotel is across the parking lot. Balcony's overlook an old parking lot with a broken and probably illegal parking lot and walkway. Walkway is not handicap accessible due to it's broken condition..As for the room. carpet was dirty, furniture was dirty, balcony needs repair and paint, no room numbers from outside and no indication of where to enter to even find your room. This place really needs a manager with at lease 1 hour of hotel training. This is not a hotel or a resort. It's a motel in a field next to a lake. Might also mention that the so called hotel has no view of the lake at all.
Pros: Was nothing fancy, but the location was good. Room was clean and waitresses in the lounge were super nice!!
Pros: The activities offered (golf, kayaking, miniature golf and indoor swimming) were inexpensive (or free in the case of the pool). The room charges were likewise much lower than properties near Deep Creek and Oakland, MD. The view and grounds were likewise beautiful.
Cons: Nothing, really. Did not try the restaurant.
Pros: The snow, food and the DJ was awesome. Love the view when it snows
Pros: This was a spur of the moment weekend trip. Alpine Lake was great. The room was nice and clean. The surroundings were beautiful.
Pros: The atmosphere. The friendly ppl
Cons: The barking dogs across the hall from us. We were unaware of there being pet friendly rooms or we would have requested rooms away from them due to my 11 month granddaughter. They did move us to another room to get away from them was told at a discounted rate for the inconvenience. They gave me a refund of $11.00 per room. For the inconvenience of packing up and moving 2 rooms including an infant I feel they should have done better. But either way we will return AWAY from pet friendly rooms
Located in Reedsville, Modern Homestead Guest House is in the historical district, a 2-minute drive from Arthurdale Heritage Inc. Museum and 9 minutes from Hovatter's Wildlife Zoo. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very beautiful area and a cozy place to stay. Out of the city but close to it. Definitely a place to relax.
Pros: Clean, quiet and great room that met all my needs.
Pros: The suite was adorable and super clean, with an outside entrance and parking right next to the door. Amazon Prime tv was available which was nice.
Cons: Too warm, very close to an intersection and right on street with noisy cars. Never met or saw the staff. A few questions were answered via text. There is no Uber, Lyft, or taxi service available there. The restaurant/coffee shop was closed and I didn’t know that it would be- I was disappointed. It’s one of the reasons I chose to stay there. Was visiting WVU- it’s a windy road to get there, takes 1/2 hr. Not an easy drive in the dark.
Pros: Not much
Cons: Noisy....on a busy road loaded with trucks 24/7. No air-conditioning. No central heating. Heat is a stand-up heater. Double bed.....tough for two people. Out of the way location. Way over-priced.
Pros: Very comfortable and adorable
