10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was our second stay here. Apart from everything (as before) being perfect and feeling really welcomed once again, we had the best breakfast we had in any accommodation/hotel ever. Simply amazing!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great room, amazing breakfast and very nice staff! The view from the rooms is amazing !
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I stayed here for a week and really couldn't find fault with anything. It's a beautiful property, in a fantastic location and the owners are such friendly, helpful people. We were welcomed with smiles, juice and pastries and were made to feel so welcome the whole time. It really felt like our own home. Our bedroom, with large balcony overlooking the pool, was a great size and extremely comfortable. The location was perfect for us too. Away from the crowds in Kotor, but easily close enough to walk there, along the water's edge in the stunning bay (30-40 mins). There's also a regular bus for €1 or a taxi for around €5. There are also a few friendly restaurant/bars very close by where you can sit outside and wonder at the scenery. To sum up, if we were ever to return to the area, it would be impossible to consider staying anywhere else. The only complaint was that we couldn't take Sonja home with us!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were mega friendly and the house, pool and location were beautiful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very open and pleasant hosts. Their house is your house. We had the feeling we were at my grandmother's house and care
Cons: À little bit noisy from the the hallway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My husband and I lived in this villa for 4 days at the end of September. It is worth noting the hospitality and amazing care of the Hostess of the villa itself. Her own cooked breakfasts cannot be forgotten: pastries of different types, pancakes, slices, fruits, fried eggs, delicious coffee, pizza and snacks made from cheese and olives! The villa has preserved antique furniture. The atmosphere was amazing!) Amazing and beautiful location near Kotor!)
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The warmest of welcomes and attention throughout our stay was exceptional. Sonia’s breakfasts were an absolute treat, and advice on making the best of our stay fruitful was terrific. I would venture to suggest she has no equal in her hospitality. Equally Vidak, her son, was most helpful to any request. Nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: A king size duvet , rather than sheets , would have made the bed more comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything was perfect
Cons: a larger blanket
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was INCREDIBLE! The spread was so so good and the service was amazing. The location is also amazing - 10 mins away from the busier part of Kotor, but perfectly located literally across the road from the water
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is owned by a lovely family where the mum makes the breakfast in the morning (an impressive table full of lots of little bites), and the son (Vidak) looks after the guests. Nothing was too much trouble, Vidak booked our taxis to excursions and airports, and also suggested great restaurants and boat tours. This is a luxurious place to stay during your holiday with stunning views and great people. And a wonderful pool at the back.
Cons: The place is about 50 minute walk (very pleasant walk) from Kotor, but this gets you well away from the crowds and means spectacular views. There is a bus that can get you there in ten minutes, for 1 Euro. The buses run once per hour and can be hailed at any point on the route, or you can get a taxi for 5 - 10 Euro.

7.5 Good
Pros: The host was kind and helpful, and the location was rather quiet with a very nice restaurant a few hundred meters walking distance.
Cons: The apartment was fine but from the pictures during the booking process we would have expected it to be a bit more luxurious. Wifi-connection was rather poor and fluctuating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Host was friendly and welcoming and gave us lots of tips for the local area, as well as showing us around the apartment! Spacious modern apartment. Secure. Great parking facilities. Great views over Kotor Bay. Nice pool area with sun loungers.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We absolutely loved the experience of staying at Portofino Residence. From the very first minute after arrival till the checkout Hosts made us feel super welcomed and looked after. Small touches and attention to details - welcoming bottle of local wine (which is one of best you can get here); blankets to wrap around and sit in the evening in case of a breeze; ultra fast wifi; mosquito repelling plug socket; Nespresso Obla with capsules, bicycles to use for free - all of that was amazing add-ons to stay in Kotor area that you would not expect. Hosts were happy to advise and answer any questions regarding stay as well as offer many contacts to excursions if you would like. All in professional manner and served as helpful suggestions. The residence provide the best ever view you could dream of to have during the morning coffee/breakfast on the balcony. Definitely this was the best pick during our holidays in Montenegro, as well as Kotor Bay is the most scenic area we visited. Portofino Residence is as unique as the country and the landscapes it offers. An absolute gem! We will definitely come back!
Cons: nothing! only thing you could improve is to have an outdoor mosquito repellent candle or incense. This is being super picky!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment and view were amazing! They have bikes that you can use without any problems. Private parking in front of the house. You have the pool and the sea just to enjoy. Valentina was great, she organized a beautiful boat ride between Perast, Our Lady of The Rocks, Cave and other places (3h Ride) for a very good price. I Will Come back for sure
Cons: Nothing, everything was perfect!

Pros: Spacious apartment with amazing view. Very welcoming hosts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful views of fjord, owners were super nice and apartments were large and well stocked with a welcome bottle of wine and water. Loved it!!!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Loved the free bike rental. So easy to pop down to the shops or cycle into town. Really lovely view from the terrace just wish we’d booked a room upstairs rather than being on the ground floor. Offered good boat trip, we were disappointed we didn’t do it.
Cons: BBQ wasn’t clean but other than that it was wonderful! Shame that you don’t catch the evening sun.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect accommodation with luxury, designed and very clean room with sea-view and clean pool! The breakfast was foul and delicious with plenty of foods to choose! The place where the hotel established was only 4km to the old town of Kotor which means 5 minutes by car. Near the hotel has some restaurants to eat and some markets. Moreover, The parking space was private and safe All the host was too heart-full and helpful! They were on your disposal whenever you want for whatever you want. Mainly Natasa, who helped us with everything and she gave us some important information for the city :) Hope to go back next summer !!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a family run hotel which is absolutely superb. Our holiday started the moment the son of the owner collected us from the airport. He was very informative, pointing out points of interest and even offered to take us on trips out to see other parts of Montenegro. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we knew it was going to be something very special.. All of the staff were very attentive and polite and could not do enough to make you feel very welcome. One of the receptionist organised a boat trip for us and although there was some confusion over the payment, this was dealt with very efficiently. The hotel is exceptionally clean, as were the rooms, poolside, restaurant and outside areas. The cleaner works so hard and keeps everywhere spotless. There are few restaurants within an easy walk, where the food is reasonable good, although the menus are the same, the portions are large and again the staff are very attentive. There is a bus which stops at the hotel every hour which you can take to Kotor or Tivat . Old town Kotor is beautiful and whilst a lot of " new money" has been spent on development in Tivat, it is far more up-market, if a little pretentious, but worth a visit. Perest is beautiful, do not miss this as well as the blue caves, both are worth a visit. Montenegro is beautiful, this will not be a our last visit and we will definitely return to this beautiful family run hotel.
Cons: The speed of the traffic along the narrow coast roads.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room with an amazing view (Neptun room). Really nice and helpful staff, super breakfast, private garage and beach.
Cons: -
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice new hotel in renovated old building. Good rooms, choice of the pool or the bay for a swim.
Cons: Limited breakfast spread at 7:30 (we had a flight to catch) - much more choice by 8:00!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The decoration of the room meet my taste.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful - organised restaurant and taxi booking for us. Very clean rooms, good standard of finish.
Cons: Breakfast was as expected - nothing special but very much acceptable. Location makes walking anywhere difficult - problem with Kotor not the place itself
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff really make this hotel. They are so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and well furnished. Breakfast was varied and good quality. The pool and beach are great - there is a small beach area where you can see beautiful views of Kotor. It’s in a quiet area but just a 5 euro taxi ride into town. Taxis come pretty quickly when called. Libertas was a highlight of our trip - highly recommend!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved everything about our stay here. As other reviews have said, it is a little away from the old town, but for us this made it even better. The hotel will book you a taxi into the old town which is cheap and easy, which we did in the evenings, but in the day we so enjoyed the pool and sea and relaxing. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were brilliant. There is a shop just 10 minutes walk away and for us all we needed for lunch was a snack from there after such a great breakfast.
Cons: Nothing to dislike, it was perfect!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Newly refurbished stylish hotel with excellent views of the Bay of Kotor. There are sun loungers by the pool and at the front of the hotel on the small private paved seafront area.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic boutique hotel in the most beautiful location. Lovely rooms, very comfortable beds and the most amazing views. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Great breakfast with a large selection of freshly prepared food, hot and cold. Something for all tastes. Walk into Kotor old town took about an hour at a leisurely pace (although a bit hair-raising at times on the road), can also take the local bus or a taxi was €3-5.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hospitality. Personal touch. Domestic food. Heart of the Old Town. View to the Plaza.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. A very charming and nice hotel!
Cons: The bed (king size) wasn’t “seem less” in the middle. Very uncomfortable. All flowers and trees along the balcony was almost dead. The restaurant for evening dinner (outside) wasn’t cosy at all.
6.3 Good
Pros: The guy serving breakfast was very friendly and helpful - he was the saving grace of the stay. The terrace looks beautiful for breakfast - it was raining when we stayed so we were in a stuffy indoor restaurant instead.
Cons: Difficult one to review. We arrived with it pouring down and behind a load of cruise shippers, so we weren’t in our best moods. We parked in the wrong car park due to poor directions given by reception earlier so ended up paying 20euros for one days parking. I would recommend asking for photos of the car park before hand! The hotel is VERY dark. It has a smell of cleaning polish. At one time it probably looked very elegant but it now looks a bit dated. It was also very expensive relative to other hotels in the area which we think are much better - for example we stayed at the Iberostar Grand Perast the night before which is a five star hotel with champagne arrival, spa facilities, indoor and outdoor pools, bellboy, free parking and a gorgeous restaurant. Somehow the rooms were the same price as Cattaro and Cattaro had none of those extras. I understand there are two restaurants owned by the hotel - one was closed and the other was a dingy sports bar. Seems to us that because of its location it feels it doesn’t need to try very hard, and doesn’t.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: there was a variety of food to eat each day at breakfast and the service provided by the wait staff was wonderful. He was cheery, prompt and made one feel at home. We also liked the fact that the hotel was right in the main square and easy to get to. We also liked the fact we were staying in what used to be the officers' quarters in earlier times giving it an historical significance.
Cons: Nothing about our stay we disliked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location (just in the main square of Kotor), outstanding quality of the hotel, Staff helpful, price good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, it exceeds our expectations, highly recommended
Cons: No comment
5.8 Okay
Pros: nice location in city centre
Cons: The music in breakfast room managed to be both noisy and sad - quite unsuitable for breakfast! We like Montenegrin power ballads but not while having breakfast! Also we did not like the attitude of some of the staff. We left in the morning for sightseeing and one of the staff saw us. Then I came back to the hotel a couple of hours later and there were two staff, the same one that saw us in the morning and a new one. As I was going up the stairs the new staff barked something in Serbian or Montenegrin. I didn't think it was for me so I continued. Then he barked again in English "Excuse me, where are you going?" This was so rude. I told him that I was going back to my room. This is totally unacceptable behaviour, especially because the other staff was there and he knew I was a guest of the hotel. But what makes it even worse: half an hour later my partner also returned to the hotel, and the SAME THING happened again. The same staff also barked at him, "excuse me, where are you going?". This spoiled our stay in this hotel and we will never return here, and do not recommend other people to stay he. If you are so afraid that a non-guest comes inside the hotel, then implement some sort of system where the front door can only be open with the room key or with a code. This would prevent awkward situations like the one I described.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely old building beautifully restored within the old town walls. Very welcoming especially Malo on reception....lovely breakfast on the balcony and quiet room. Really enjoyed our stay would recommend
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old classic hotel with elegant marble stairs & gorgeous breakfast room. Views from bedroom balconies onto old city main square. Delicious full breakfast.
Cons: No elevator to 2nd floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I thought the place was fantastic. Great position, beautfully restored, great atmosphere to the place, very clean and full of character. Fantastic and generous buffet breakfast included, with great service. A special mention about Mateo, the young man at reception, who couldnt be more helpful. He was very pleasant, polite and professional...a real asset to the hotel! Overall great value for money.

Pros: We liked the atmosphere of the hotel (a specially the staff and tour guide) and the view. The live musician on wednesday and friday was excellent. The wide variety of breakfast is the best we ever had. From pancakes to bacon eggs. Everything a humanbeing needs.
Cons: A small thing: maby bigger sheets on the bed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the junior suit. Room was beautiful and cleaned daily. All of the staff in the hotel from the receptionists to the waiters to the guy managing the beach area were all so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and the service was fantastic! The view from the outside seating area is absolutely stunning. The beach area is very well maintained just make sure to reserve the sunbed area you want, but as this is a small hotel and it’s a private beach area there is always a sunbed free... you really only book to get the best vantage point for the sun if you are a total sun worshipper :) The food here was great, there is a nice serve yourself breakfast area with cold meats, cheeses, cereals fruit and pasties. There is also a hot breakfast menu included. We tried a few items and loved each one. For dinner and lunch there were many options from the menu, no complaints at all, food was all very good and very reasonably priced. An unknown perk is that they will do your laundry for free... just be sure to leave a nice tip to thank the staff for doing this for you. We will definitely be back again and we wished we had booked for longer. Tip... when getting taxis from town be sure to go with a taxi company recommended by the hotel or Red taxi. A taxi to or from the old town in kotor for two people should be around €10 and no more we had one guy try to charge us €18 on our last night so confirm the price when you get in.
Cons: Zero complaints! :) fantastic stay

Pros: It's a really good hotel, we can write only good things, this is not 4 stars but more. The staff is very helpful, nice. The breakfast is amazing, every day have some new food near the 'normal' menu, and you can choose also from the menu card. The lunch/dinner was also unbelievable. At the beach you can reserve sunbeds with sunbrella or tent-bed.

Pros: Excellent location . Modern facilities in a historic ,beautiful building.
Cons: I have a vision problem and would have appreciated a hand rail by all the steps , for example the 5 steps into the breakfast room and a sturdier rail up the steps to our annex. I feel this could be done sympathetically.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in the centre of Perast a former palace and it certainly felt like a palace. Furnishings were quality spa area excellent. A small pool on the seaside is a nice touch. Breakfast on the terrace with fabulous views.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is fantastic and the staff are very attentive.
Cons: It can get a bit crowded in sunbathing area. People seemed to get up early and claim a spot with towels then leave for breakfast or other things, and often didn't come back to use the spot for hours. This was frustrating to see especially when there are no free spaces but several "claimed" but empty spaces. I think it would be good for the hotel to have a policy discouraging claiming spots by removing towels if left for more than 1 hour or so. It would allow people to make use of the sunbathing area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property and staff are amazing - specifically the girls at the front desk/reception staff, and Stefan and Dusan. They were extraordinarily personable, accommodating and watchful for our needs.
Cons: Not applicable!

Pros: On par with the best luxury hotels I’ve ever visited. Really unique location with great common spaces (terrace and pool area). Our favorite hotel on our two week honeymoon.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is absolutely stunning in a beautiful location in quaint Perast. I’ve got so many positive things to say from the welcome drink of champagne when we arrived to the courteous and professional staff where nothing was to much trouble . Our room was a double superior and it was immaculate and huge ! The staff really went the extra mile for us and brought a bottle of sparkling wine and fresh fruit to our room as we were celebrating my partners retirement . The breakfast had a fantastic choice from cereals, pastries , fresh fruit and you could order hot food also. You never have to ask for another coffee the staff come round and top it up for you really impeccable service . Also the terrace is beautiful to sit out and just relax and is there is a small pool and area with sun loungers . All in all we had a fantastic stay in an impeccable hotel and resort absolutely loved it thank you the hotel really lives up to it’s 5 stars!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully situated on the water with impressive views from all sides. Absolutely gorgeous! A perfect home base to visit Kotor and also to just soak in the scenery. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Service was full of wonderful touches, champagne on arrival, cookies at turndown, fresh squeezed orange juice at breakfast. The breakfast has to be one of the best we have had in our travels and the wait staff was wonderful. Highly recommend!
Cons: There was a slight odor in front of the hotel on the day we arrived which prevented us from eating at their beautifully situated restaurant. We had rain overnight and it cleared up the next day. That said we hope to return for a much longer visit in the future.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Everything :-)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I cannot believe the value of this place. It is a DIVINE hotel. Perast itself if stunning - so much nicer than Kotor which is overrun with cruise ship day-trippers and tacky souvenirs. Perast is the much better, if not smaller, of the two in our opinion. The hotel is set in a beautiful building right on the water. On arrival we had complimentary champagne whilst we filled in our details. We were also given free 15 min massages in the spa which we turned into longer massages and received very informative information re our dodgy backs (both of us are desk workers). Complimentary water, afternoon cakes placed in your room etc. We felt like VIPs. We had dinner out on the terrace, there were few people there. We felt a bit overwhelmed by the duo waiters who were a bit like a double act and perhaps slightly pushy - but they were also very informative about the food and wine, enthusiastic and friendly. The setting was divine. I had the filet mignon and my boyfriend the salmon fillet. It was VERY good. We were recommended a Syrah from Macedonia which was pricey but delicious. Breakfast was very good - lots of options and good quality. It was raining on the morning we were there but breakfast on the terrace looks lovely. The spa facilities were great. Great pool, sauna and steam room. I just felt so relaxed. The price of this place was outstanding. It’s not cheap, but I cannot stress the value for money. A room like this in anywhere else I’ve been in Europe would be £350. Parking available for Iberostar guests - bellboy comes within 5 minutes to pick you up in golf buggy to take you into the pedestrian zone of Perast.
Cons: The only thing I can even think of is that they aren’t good at responding to emails. I had to wait 5 weeks to have my email replied to and when I sent a follow up I never received a response. But pft. It’s nothing given how fantastic this place was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, view, breakfast, room service.
Cons: Beach facilities could be improved.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We loved the SPA area, i enjoyed a few wonderful massages. The staff was attentive and helpful, free parking space and shuttle was available. The room was bigger than expected, the interior of the whole room was great. The hotel is located in the lovely village of Perast (which we liked much more than Kotor), you have a great view of the bay
Cons: everything was great

Pros: The location is excellent, service very friendly. The breakfast is great (even though juices should be freshly squeezed).
Cons: Is difficult to avoid that the shower spread water to the bathroom.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the heart of the Old Town. We loved the breakfast and special thanks to Nataša!
Cons: We wish there was a swimming pool! A little uncomfortable getting from reception to the room through backyard that connect kitchen with restaurant.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our room was furnished beautifully. It was classy and the staff tried to please small requests like wine openers and wine glasses. Slept very well.
Cons: No coffee in room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely large room in centre of the old town with good breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Unfortunately if you’re on 1st floor, room is too noisy to appreciate good location, nice room and breakfast ok
Cons: Hotel is in top of a restaurant with music until around midnight. After midnight you have the noise of waiters talking in front of your door and from around 6am the same to prepare breakfast. WiFi is bad.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast, location, and staff were all fantastic. The room was large and airy and my husband highly enjoyed the fantastic cable package.
Cons: The wifi signal was a bit weak. I had purchased an unlimited data sim card for Montenegro and ended up using that and creating a hotspot for my husband most of the time. Also, the bed was in a small loft area, which is fine, but we had to be very careful not to hit our heads on a low beam when trying to leave the bed area and were unsuccessful a couple of times.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, with a great location, right in the middle of town. The hotel looks like it has been recently completely modernized. Great breakfast served on a pretty outdoor terrace.
Cons: The loft had an odd bedroom... in the room’s attic that required climbing over the foot of the bed to get into it. It can be a bit noisy, at night, especially on a weekend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A stunning hotel, situated in the heart of the old town. We stayed in a large attic room, with the bed on a mezzanine floor above. All the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was immense! I can thoroughly recommend staying at the Villa Duomo.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very unique and in a traditional building in the old town area of Kotor. The view over the neighbouring piazza and the cliffs behind the town was wonderful. Its location in the heart of the Old Town was ideal to go exploring. The neighbourhood of the hotel is quite lively and loud until around 11pm but frankly this is to be expected in such a resort. The room was very nicely furnished and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was nice, being served al fresco on a shaded terrace. The hotel's staff very very friendly, helpful and more than accommodating to our requests. I would love to go back there again.
Cons: Nothing.

5.8 Okay
Pros: I loved that the hotel was new. Also, breakfast was outstanding.
Cons: I did not like the fact that my room had an Oder to it. I complained but was told there was nothing that could be done. I thought that the hotel had septic system issues or else a dead mouse/mice had died in between the walls. The smell never left the room. It could also be smelled in the 2nd floor stairwell. We had room 10.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was quite big. Room and bathroom were comfortable and stylish. At arrival the staff brought us some homemade snacks. A nice touch and very thoughtful. And mostly, the view from our corner room.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is mesmerizing, and the fact the hotel is smaller makes good for privacy, quietness and perfect comfort. It's a perfect getaway for couples and people who prefer a rich cultural heritage combined with hospitality, great food and attentiveness. The staff at reception was wonderful and very helpful, they even upgraded us to a Suite as they had a free room, no charge, which was a big plus, th room being amazing and all.
Cons: The dining area for breakfast is a bit small (nothing big), re-organisation of reception area to the corner of the ground floor would free up a lot of space.

Pros: We’re a family of four (including two children: 19 and 23 yrs old) and this small hotel, just north of Kotor, was perfect for the main part of our summer holiday in the Balkans. The location was ideal, the room was great and the staff were all exceptional: sensitively attentive and nothing was too much trouble!

Pros: Great location and hosts.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Heritage property located in the heart of the old town exuding old world charm but equipped with all modern amenities. Friendly hosts. We had the Merchants Room with a spa bath - perfect after a long tiring day of exploring! Kotor is a beautiful town and the drive around the bay is staggering.
Cons: Not property specific but being an old town, parking is only available outside the walls. Free parking is a 10-15 minute walk away. Not a major inconvenience but strenuous with luggage. Paid parking is closer but expensive and quite full.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked the Duke's Room as a birthday treat for myself and my partner as it was my 30th birthday and it was the best choice for the occasion. The palazzo is located right in the centre of Old Town Kotor (but it's not noisy!), close to many great places to eat or drink. Valentina was an amazing, attentive host and provided us with very good tips. The room is beautiful, very spacious and the bed (huge!!) is incredibly comfortable! Definitely recommend for a luxurious place to stay in Kotor.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The style in which the room was decorated and cleanliness. Modern TV with 3d glasses. The info and help received off the staff was second to none
7.1 Good

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was not included, but the location was perfect.
Cons: Problems with the water supply
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location, staff and attention to detail in restoring the building were all amazing. Bed was super comfy!
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Close to the shops
Cons: What you see is not what you get. The layout disguises the faults in the hotels. Foul, fishy and sewer stench throughout the bedroom, bathroom walls have mould growing on them, shower head was not working properly. Hotel host had promised 1200 channels on the TV but non of them work except for a handful which are not even English. Not an ideal spot to get a good nights rest, a guitarist plays outside the hotel until 2am and loud sounds from locals till 3am. No value for your money, charging as a 5 star hotel but not worth it. Dont let the antiques fool you.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Host is friendly and responsive.
Cons: The toilet is too smelly.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location was great being right in the heart of Kotor Old Town and you got to soak up the historic atmosphere of the place. The property has been sensitively restored and is representative of the period with thick stone walls and wooden furniture etc. Our host Olga was very accommodating and we found being able to use the well equipped kitchen facility a real bonus. Bed was pretty comfy and the room had everything we needed including a good power shower, hair dryer and mini fridge. Overall it was good value for money if you want to stay within the historic walled old town area.
Cons: Unfortunately there was a bit of a stale smell just in our room on arrival and we thought it just needed airing. We then realised there was a persistent bad smell that was coming from the bathroom floor drain. It is a very old historic property so admittedly there can be issues with drainage but this was really not nice and to be honest it did mar the first part.of our stay. We invested in bleach and air freshener which helped until we were able to tell our host Olga who got it sorted and from then the room smelt better. Housekeeping was missed on one day but it didn't cause us any real issues.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Apartaments are located in beautifull old town of Kotor, just in the heard of it, full of little streets with shops and restaurants and bars! There is big living room and kitchen, its modern ans stylish and if we will be back to Kotor, deffinitelly co e here again! Thanks tohost us! :)

Pros: The hotel is right in the heart of Kotor Old town with shops and restaurants nearby.
Cons: The room could have been a bit cleaner. The hotel did not accept card payment (only cash) which was a bit disappointing.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location was good. Breakfast was not a buffet! It is advertised as buffet it it isn't I had an option from 3 to chose from I chose omlette and orange juice.
Cons: The reception staff was almost non existent they were always outside and I had to go outside to call them in. If on sale then I'd recommend but I paid too much probably because I booked Last minutes They were not friendly. Especially the blonde woman. Very unprofessional and not welcoming at all. Didn't guide me to the door. Bathroom light didn't have cover. Very outdated room and furniture. The bathroom floor was wet before I got in and there was dust in a few places. Also a condom behind the dressing table.
6.0 Good
Pros: The location was fabulous, right in the centre of the old town with its many cafes and restaurants and shops.
Cons: Our room was not ready when we arrived. The room was not cleaned and the beds were not made except for one day when we complained. The bathroom was not cleaned for the five days we stayed there. We were made to pay cash even though the hotel receptionist had assured us we could pay with a card. The restaurant was ok and breakfast was fair except the last two days when there were no croissants.
7.5 Good
Pros: Excellent breakfast in the restaurant. Right in the old town of Kotor.
5.0 Okay

Cons: Mould in shower , cooktop provided but no kitchen utensils so could not be used coffee cup left in cupboard from previous quests
6.0 Good
Pros: The staff were very nice and efficient.
Cons: I felt that the room could need some refreshing, also the set up was somehow random, like a fridge set just in front of a chair, where the room was big enough to re-arrange the setting, a ceiling lamp in the bathroom where normally you would have a glas cover, here there was just none, only the bulb. So basically, yes, it might seem for some that these are small things, but for me it is like the room was missing the final touch, small things that can make quite a big difference, not to forget that the price was not cheap for Montenegro standard, through which country we traveled and stayed at hotels with much better standard for the same or less cost.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Helpful staff (they earn their money. There were lots of things we needed help with). Great restaurant below the property (includes breakfast). But beware! The positive things end here.
Cons: The smallest room I have ever stayed in. Very outdated. Very narrow stairs and we were on the third floor. No space to open luggage. Tiny bathrooms. We were a group of 8 (4 couples). Every room was very small. An air conditioner didn’t work and it was quite hot. A door lock broke and needed a carpenter to fix it which took several hours (with guests outside and clothes, passports etc. inside). It’s very low budget if you don’t mind roughing it for a few days! You get what you pay for!
