The location (although a long bus ride from the airport) it was very Greek. the Hotel staff and entertainers were friendly. as it is on beech the water sports are attached tot the hotel. and the rooms are all spacious and well kept. the long bus journey as going was 3 hours and was advertised at 1hour 50min.
Many facilities for children, spacious room, private beach. Not far from city center. Monotonous food, sometimes of not very good quality, but appropriate for this price.
view location, far from beach, floor space, not 4 stars
Very nice and spacy apartment, great view over Libyan Sea. Balcony quite small. Gale force wind (hotel not to blame!) made it impossible to use the nice pool.
Modern and clean facilities. Nice views. Good restaurant within 3 minutes walk. Too far from shore.
ideal base in a small village for a family with small children and a car, quiet, enough room with TV and DVD player, big bathroom, well equipped kitchen, a big enough swimming pool, many different beaches to go with a car that you can select and swim with any weather conditions, no mosquito you need a car to go everywhere
Very quiet, near Ierapetra and on fair distance of nearby beaches. It's more or less rented appartments rather than hotel. A very poor breakfast is served for 5 EUR (not recommended).
The breakfast should be 5 Euro pp but they added 15 for 2 persons without saying a word . . .
Probably all rooms have great view to the beach. Clean. Easy and cheap food. Pool, fitness, beach nearby. The receptionist helped me find best route via Ziros and Xerocampos to Zakros. Food quality is good but plain. I was looking for hotel in city centre of Ierapetra, but it was 2 kilometers to the east. Its on a hill, good sign on road (one sign is missing). You feel a bit trapped, as Ierapetra in general, doesn't have that much to offer. Except the Venetian fort and Napoleon house.
