Laban Rata Resthouse at Mount Kinabalu

Located at 3,272 metres above sea level, Panalaban is the final pit stop before ascending to the summit of Low’s Peak. Providing climbers with comfortable lodgings and hot meals at this overnight resting point is Laban Rata Resthouse. An iconic building which displays the majestic Mount Kinabalu as a backdrop, surrounded by a sea of fluffy clouds. Accommodation arrangements will be a night stay at Laban Rata Resthouse, Panalaban. Meal arrangements for Day 1 is guest to collect their Packed Lunch at Balsam Café, Kinabalu Park before the climb; Dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant, Panalaban. Day 2 begins with Early Supper at Laban Rata Resthouse before ascend to summit and Breakfast at Laban Rata Restaurant before check-out; and then Lunch at Balsam Café, Kinabalu Park. NOTE: Effective September 1st, 2017, as per Government of Malaysia requirements, hotel guests who are not Malaysian citizens or long-term / permanent residents of Malaysia will be levied a tourism tax of RM 10.00 per room per night stay. Please note these changes in tax structure will result in revised taxes being charged and will be payable additionally during check-in.
