7.0 Good
Pros: Basic but well located near the springs: about a ten minute walk through plantations - have to hop across some streams and puddles. Very welcoming hosts. Places to eat nearby opposite the park entrance.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Fun use of old plastic water bottles Free fruit provided from the garden. Bed comfortable Good location close to Poring hot springs
Cons: Lots of Ants in one of the beds Bathrooms were small and smelly Staff not very welcoming on our arrival- seemed surprised to see us! Once owner arrived he was friendly and helpful and staff became more friendly towards us. Very bumpy track to get there, especially after the ford. Electricty comes amd goes

7.9 Good
Pros: Rural location Could walk to poring hot springs Shops and cafes within walking distance Good price for clean accommodation
Cons: The road to the property was a bit scary if you don’t have a 4 X 4 but was driveable Would prefer tea/coffee making facilities in room but owner does give access to kitchen Chickens woke us up very early!

Pros: The rooms were basic, but clean and tidy, Jay the host was a delightful fellow, he was able to drive us to sightseeing and activities nearby for a reasonable price. Close to hot springs and great cheap restaurant near by (don't let the exterior fool you) called the Round inn.

Pros: The owner very friendly
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We chose Poring to stay for just one night to break up a long car journey but regret not being able to stay longer. The property is in a quiet peaceful location. Small water features and colourful plants make it a nice place to base walks from and the collection of small well kept animals would be good for families with young kids. Owner was super friendly recommended a good restaurant very close. Good value clean accommodation. Things to purchase from reception. Coldest beer I’d had during stay in Borneo! We will return again in future to spend a little more time seeing the local sights.
Cons: Nothing about property. Bit of a Top Gear challenge for our small hire car along track to property from road. Kids enjoyed it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is a little hard to find but when you do....wow. We used the local food delivery service which was excellent but be careful portion sizes are large..we couldn't eat it all. Perfect place to relax after climbing the mountain the day before.
Cons: Bathroom a bit basic and very hard pillows...not that comfy. Took us a little while to find but what an oasis when we did.
