Bed space had alot of privacy
Toilet shared between males and females, no mention of 200yen per night accommodation tax, beds were very thin
The chill out area is awesome. We had a great evening partying there. Since there is a floor inbetween that area and rooms you don't get disturbed in any way. The curry is pretty remind the staff, that you'll move in later that day, so you can get the discount of 200Yen per object. The pancakes for breakfast are pretty good.
My locker was broken.
The location was pretty great The beds were pretty big Staff are great helped us with everything
Toilets and showers are clean but there's no shower on the floors of the bedrooms so you need to go down stairs which is fine but not when you have 6 of them for men and woman together which means the sinks are for both and each morning and evening it's crowded and noisy. Furthermore, the bathrooms and the Kitchen are right next to each other and it's not so pleasant going down to take a shower when everyone sitting there in the kitchen.. There's toilets on the bedrooms floor and they are clean, but there aren't any normal sinks..so you need to go down to the showers to brush you teeth..but everyone's there like I mentioned above..so you have to wait..and if you just went for the toilet, you'd want to wash your hands..well there's a little sink on the toilets which is fine..but there's no soup...... The laundry room has only to machines, 2 washing and 2 drying, it's fine and all but, is right next to the showers which are right next to the kitchen...more noise and inconvenience. There's no washing powder..which was odd at first cuz we already stayed in 4 hostels before arriving to this one and they all had some, so we started looking for it..didn't find any..no one to ask, the staff not there 10 pm..ask some people..nothing..so we got stock with a stock of powder and conditioner for the rest of our trip... And if there was somewhere powder...why not put it next to the washing machine... The cost was 300 for washing and 100 for drying..and 100 more for every 10 additional minutes...so let's say 500? And no powder so 1000+? And there's city fine you pay for staying in kyoto...
- The bed is very comfortable, it was bigger that I was expecting :) - The location is very good. It is really near Gion and Kiyomizu dera, and near to convenience stores and restaurants and to Keihan train station :)) - There is an available washing machine and dryer that can be used with a little fee. - The shower is great! - The shared spaces for work or places to hang to is really nice :) - Staff is very kind and nice and could communicate in English really well :) - Bang for your buck! :) Will definitely book here next time :)
- Towels aren't included yet (you need to pay extra 200 yen) - Toothbrush & toothpaste aren't included yet - Due to city tax, everyone needs to pay 200 yen per person per day (which isn't their fault) - Parking of bike might be harder since they don't have a place to park in within the facility, so if you wanted to rent a bike, just be mindful of this.
Common room on first floor was good. Not a bad location.
Beds were like sleeping on the floor, rock hard!!. Dorm room smelt really bad.
