Cute little kitchen! We would love to stay here again! Homemade jams for breakfast and yum coffee. Family were so lovely also!
Pros: Location perfectly quiet and convenient whilst driving across France (October) Evening food platter and wine gratefully received plus a good traditional breakfast with local produce, jams etc. A perfect stopover for us, but looks a good quiet holiday destination.

Pros: Great breakfast. Location very good.
Pros: Hostess was very friendly and welcomed us with cool drink (it was 34C) and homemade plum tart. We were able to put some things in her refridgerator. Gifts of courgette and french beans were also appreciated the next day at our destination. An excellent stay.
Cons: Noisy person in neighbouring room.
Pros: The friendliness of the hosts. Their generosity, nothing was too much trouble for them. They were so welcoming. We left laden with gifts of fruit and vegetables from their garden!

Pros: What a wonderful and memorable experience for my family and me! Our first time staying in a farm and it exceeds our expectations. The host, Aurelia is full of energy and she took care of all our needs. Breakfast and dinner prepared by her were fantastic, especially as there was the opporunity to be in the open and with the animals (if you want). My 3 year son loves the pool and during our stay, he got to spend time with the various animals. He was overjoyed and we had a lot of photos for memories. Will definitely recommend this place to others.
Pros: Lots of animals (dog, chicken, donkey, ara). Host is very hospitable.
Pros: We loved the host and the animals.
Cons: The property was tired: broken door handles, broken showers, the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. There was a kitchen which at the time of booking we assumed we would be able to use to cook for our family some nights but it was compulsory to eat the hosts food, which was delicious but expensive. We were only allowed to use the kitchen to prepare packed lunches to take out with us. It is very isolated. We cut our stay short and moved onto a campsite early so that we could self-cater and there was more for the children to do.
Pros: The owner is lovely and we loved all the animals
Pros: Truly french, very relaxed and easy going atmosphere, our evening meal was lovely and breakfast was worth the stay
Pros: Domaine de la Gaucherie was pure bliss with our three boys (5, 3 & 18 months). It’s a gorgeous property with the happiest animals I’ve ever encountered, and with the kind of lived-in charm that feels so warm and welcoming that it’s like you’ve stepped into a home-away-from-home. For us, it was absolutely perfect, with enough activities to keep our rambunctious children entertained for HOURS - swimming in the pool (a bit cold for my eldest child and me but we warmed up in the sun in between while daddy and the two little ones splashed about), playing on the swings and slide, clambering about the stationary ride-on mower, exploring the lake area out the back, and playing with some of the toys indoors. We spent ages just engaging with the animals - geese, chickens, cats, birds, a dog, a pony, horses, and the most amusingly friendly donkey in the world. He followed us around basically everywhere! Aurelia was relaxed and kind to our kids, and she made wonderful meals for us all by request, one sitting a bit earlier for the kids and another for adult meal time. She has a well stocked bar that includes local wines, and even made us homemade chocolate mousse which was a spectacular end to the meal. Breakfast was exceptional, and just kept coming... pastries, waffles, eggs, cereals, fruit, and yoghurt, as well as granola and lots of yummy jams and preserves she had made herself. We also went for a pony ride at the local place recommended by Aurelia, where all three kids were able to ride (even the teeny toddler!) We really should’ve stopped at Domaine de la Gaucherie for a few days but alas I had no idea just how perfect this place was. Next time!

Pros: Friendly staff, nice breakfast, beautiful garden, very quiet.
Cons: No clear address, so not very easy to find. Little privacy (stay in the family house); reviews suggest you can eat here, but that is not the case and there is no restaurant in the village. Nearest restaurant is some 20 minutes away. A lot of cats, which was no problem for us but we think it should be announced, since some people have a cat allergy.
Pros: It is a nice comfortable familyroom, great hospitality, they even made a thing that was broken just for us. Special breakfast for our kids!
Cons: Everything was ok!
Pros: very good room for families travelling to/from their holiday destination.
Pros: Good Breakfast.
Cons: We laughed afterwards about the name, Le Moulin. This sets an expectation (historical building associations) which the more ordinary modern day reality and location fails to match
Pros: Very friendly man and wife team. Super breakfast and evening meal.
Cons: Room rather airbnb style and looked like someone had recently been using it as an office/living room.
Pros: Nice beds, kitchen is good equipped. Bathroom very clean. Nice breakfast included. Lady of the house is very kind.
Cons: Hard to find property when arriving in the dark. Shower is a little low if you’re tall.
Pros: The hospitality of the hosts were outstanding and I enjoyed my stay... It's cheap and cheerful accommodation on the road..
