location, very convenience. It's about 3 minutes from the train station. nothing
Location (city centre), helpfulness of staff, quiet, space to work Lack of plugs in wash-basin and bath, would have been useful to have another socket near desk
location near the station, coffee/tea facilities in the room, breakfast
Nice, bright, comfortable room. Friendly staff. Quiet hotel. Very near the main railway station in Rennes. Short walk (15 mins) to centre of the city (or you can go two stops on the metro if you are feeling lazy!) If I'm being really picky, the shower was good, but the shower screen was quite narrow, so you had to be careful not to soak the floor (!)
Convenient location - close to bus and train stations and local restaurants. Easy walk to city centre. Comfortable, spacious hotel room.
high standard of cleanliness - helpful staff none
A perfectly equipped, modern and very comfortable small hotel in an excellent position just near the station.
Good location and nice room. Bed was very hard and the showerhead kept slipping down to bottom of slide
adjacent to station and also had complimentary tea and coffee in room.
Quiet environment with all facilities Nothing
Location and staff
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt really welcomed. Breakfast was very good for French standard! The hotel is well located next to the train station and quiet. The smell of smoke in my room. I asked for a non-smoker room, but had bad luck...
Good location breakfast very poor - not worth to pay 7.5 E for something like that
location, just opposite to the train station. Very good suggestion on restaurant we liked it very much. not that i can think of
Just across the street from the train station. Wifi. All was satisfactory for the price.
English speaking staff who were very helpful, comfortable room, very convenient location for railway station, good value None
room large, basically quiet, close to the train station
Comfortable for the one night.
Proximity to city center, ample and comfortable room, in front of train station no parking, rooms a bit noisy
The staff were freindly and the breakfasts were good value None
Good staff and good sea-food dishes. Thanks a lot! The location is a bit far from center. I hope rent-a-bicycle service (There is the public service but it was not easy to find the place near this hotel.)
confortable mattress croissants could be tasting better
Good sized, comfortable room. Hotel was well located The buffet breakfast was a bit hit and miss. No spoons available for the cereal. Croissants had run out.Could have beedn better organised.
Great location near university area, 30 minute walk to main rail station, helpful staff, clean rooms. Only bad points were the lack of a toaster and jug in the kitchen and an extra pillow would have helped.
The kitchenette in our studio room was well-equipped and I was able to make myself dinner one night. N/A
Clean room, central location, helpful staff
We liked the hotel very much. Clean big room with small kitchen. Clean big bathroom, comfortable bed. We had a room 109 with windows to the inner yard. Unlike many other hotels the yard is very big and quiet - you can sleep with open window and will not hear others. Parking is perfect - private and just next door from the hotel. The lift leads from the parking to reception directly. Location is very convenient - 3 minutes from everything, but just outside the citicentre, hence the street is very quiet. Breakfast was also very nice. We haven't got the idea of the notice on the kitchen's door: it was said not to leave anything dirty otherwise the penalty would apply. That is very strange - cleaning is the part of hotel service in my understanding. We preferred not to touch anything at all - didn't want to pay 20e for the cup left in the sink... Also if anybody concerned: internet is not wifi - wired access only. And no bar/minibar in the hotel.
Good sized, comfortable room. Hotel was well located.
The hotel is very conveniently situated for an exploration of Rennes. There is a superb restaurant (Le Corsaire) a few metres from the hotel. It was a little disconcerting at first to walk out of the lift into total darkness until the lights came on, activated by an electronic device.
The rooms were spacious and clean. The location was central and convenient. The rooms all had towels for only two people. All the rooms we booked werer for 3-4 people. The office closed down at 6 pm, and most of us were stuck without adequate linens. There was no number to call at the desk to reach the receptionist or housekeeping. It was a big inconvenience as we had to be somewhere the next morning before the 8 am opening time. Please make sure you have adequate towels in room!
Well designed room, bathroom. Central location and good parking. Pleasant atmosphere. Some signs about the hotel with English translation would make things a bit easier for most foreign tourists.
clean, comfortable room. within 5 min walk to old historical part of Rennes, very few other hotels offer a room for a family of 4. within an hour drive of St. Malo and Mont St. Michel.
It's so close to railway station, because we are overloaded with our luggage. There was no place for bicycles to park.
Clean and Comfortable
no comfort, no matress cover, 1 towel for 2
quite small bathroom
friendly staff No restaurant available for evening meals
Very efficient check-in. Easy to get to from the ring-road. Very clean and spacious rooms. Value for money. Reasonable breakfast. No
Nice clean and good value stay On a busy road in a industrial type area but would still stay there again
Convenience to both the autoroute and access to old town Rennes. The rooms were hot and ventilation poor. I have stayed at other Brit Hotels that were air conditioned.
No lift in the hotel...no facility to store luggage on ground floor
Friendliness of the staff and the comfort of the hotel generally.
it's too far from the city centre, and the front desk staff didn't give accurate directions
very helpful staff
Good location. Was chosen for a 'pit stop' only stay.Perfectly fitted the bill...will use again
The staff were very helpful. Even with my broken french. They helped with maps and taxis etc The location is a fair way from Rennes itself. But it is within walking distance of the Metro and bus links.
the receptionist was so friendly and welcoming. First impressions are so important, lovely room ,lovely meal and breakfast will visit again . nothing
The room was clean and the bed's comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful The location gps coordinates supplied by booking.com were incorrect and took us to a warehouse!
Good modern hotel with a decent restaurant. We used it as an overnight stop on our way South, and would use it again. Hotel was in an area where there was not much else, but for an overnight stop this was not a particular problem for us.
Ou first stay at Kyriad Hotels, won't be the last. Evening meal and breakfast excellent. The one very difficult thing and I can't say it was either entirely yours or mine. but I fell that on the booking form the address was not correct and we spent nearly an hour looking for the Kyriad in Rennes, in the end we had to get a taxi to drive in front of our car. I will also point out that he was a local taxi and he had difficulty find it on his map. The address should be Rue André et Eyonne Meynier. My gps could not find a match. Please insert whole address
Friendly staff,clean hotel,good evening meal,car parking convenient,comfortable beds,good overnight stop No lift
We thought that this was the best Kyriad we had ever stayed at and the most welcoming, even translating the menu choices for us. We wish the next one we stayed at in Laval was as good!! One thing for your English visitors, have a menu in English please.
Easy to find and get to, very helpful staff and a pleasant and clean environment.
Its location. We were lucky as we had a twin room and therefore had a large room. Seeing the other rooms I would not like to stay there as they appeared far too small and cramped.
position room was smaller than I anticipated
Well positioned Hotel for viewing and visting local attractions, new Hotel with modern feel and good facilities. Car parking charged.
Friendy staff. good central position, etcc
The staff were very helpful across all times & days especially as I could not speak any French.
The shower was good. The room was the same size of a double bed. I think is a 2 star hotel, like Ibis or Fórmula 1. Rennes is not like Paris, it should have a big room.
The price for breakfast
Very kind hotel staffs when I had a car trouble. Close to city centre.
Location of the hotel, nice staff, nice building. The internet is very very expensive, about 15 euros for 24 hours.
Great central location with parking. The bar area was quite small, but there was a great bar/restaurant right next door.
the service at the friont desk was very good Room size is on the low side
Staff very helpful; Decent sized rooms; good food. A little difficult to find. Needs a more detailed site map.
comfortable bed would like to have enough tea/coffee/milk on room tray so you can have a drink on arrival as well as in the morning.
Very nice room Restaurant food was awful and they tried to charge for a meal we had not had
The location is very useful for us with parking . Due to the ferry times from Jersey we do not usually have a evening meal but the breakfast is very good . The rooms are comfortable and the staff very helpfil and friendly .
Hotel is in a good location for a Carrefour and Truffaux. Ample parking No lift to first floor.
quiet, nice, helpful staff, close to Carrefour, 20 minutes ot Rennes TGV station in general, it is a good hotel to stay all the people need to improve their English
Easy access to ring road, and good, frequent and cheap public transport nearby. Expensive for food and drinks.
hotel staff was friendly and helpfull, lot of free parkingspace the temperature inside the hotel was very high, this affected the comfort
Great location with shops near by. Ideal for Metro to Rennes University.
Everything was fine. Good welcome, and staff keen to be helpful. N/A
Overall appearance of hotel, grounds, public areas and rooms - good Got back to hotel Sunday 6th July, front door locked, had to wait in car park for 1 hour to get in to hotel/room. Defective water outlet in wash basin - room 114
we were greeted on arrival with a sense that we were expected and everything was ready for us. staff were friendly and personable and the general atmosphere was relaxed. breakfast was enjoyed by all six of us and our stay there was a perfect overnight solution for our family mid- vacation. an easy run into Rennes also for an evening meal and stroll or a great little pizzeria 2 minutes walk away.
The personnel is very kind and helful
This hotel is in a suburb, and difficult to find.
We required simple and cost effective overnight family accommodation within a short driving distance from St Malo, and one which was not too far from our route down to the Vendee. This hotel was ideal.
Very good for short stays (we stayed a night). Relative calm area nearby city center (5-7min walk). Fair room sizes. Good french buffet breakfast for good price (6 euros). Agréablement surprise Beware hotel reception in the restaurant - should be indicated on website because we went straight up to the hotel to get back down in the restaurant to get keys.
the walls of the rooms are too thin. if someone is playing music at night or talking loudly, it becomes difficult to sleep.
I really like the bed, it was very comfortable and the view from my window. The services was good too(reception). I didn`t like the beakfast, it was in the same small room which appeards to be a reception too.
You advertised Wi-fi in all rooms. The sevice did not come up tyo standard it was very poor.
The staff were super-helpful and friendly. Convenient location, 5 minutes from the town centre and 10 minutes from the station. The room was basic but comfortable and clean. I had to strongly resist stealing the crazy orange feathery bedside lamp! For this price and category of hotel, no. It's a basic hotel, and so I didn't expect the Ritz...
friendly staff limited shower/toilet facilities
Free internet connection, the old-style design, and the good location. No
Upon arrival I was helped and immediately made to feel welcome, I was upgraded to a better room for no extra cost and the clerk made my life very easy as I was allowed to leave my key in my room to check out as I had an early train, I only stayed for one night. The rooms were also quiet but other guest could be heard on the corriedor. It was ideal for what I needed which was a stop over, the bathroom was not in the best of conditions and there was alot of mould on the ceiling but for the price the room met and exceeded expectations.
Confirmtable room lift was out of order and forgot to clean the room (or should have asked?)
Very friendly staff, clean room, excellent value for money. Next to a noisy/busy street.
Breakfast was fairly meager. Rooms are decent but very bland.
Location. Very close to the train station which we needed. Non-smoking rooms still had some left over smoke smell.
Good location for touring the old city. Room was very modern, Ikea-style. Parking was very difficult in the hotel garage and we did not realize we were expected to make a reservation for parking.
Staff very helpful and mindful of client require, ments Noisy students keeping late and rowdy hours in street below_ no sleep for guests!
Easy walk to old town. Even easier walk to C&A. Expensive.
The hotel staff were all very friendly and made good local restaurant suggestions. The hotel is very nice, not deluxe but certainly a solid choice from my experience there. The hotel is quite central, convenient to everything. For the rate I received from this site, I would definitely recommend it.
Excellent city centre location . Good sized bedrooms and very good room rate with the website.
Nice staff and good location Noise from the street on Saturday night when there are many singing drunks about
Very nice design, good location, great brakfast with fresh orange juice (as much as you want), very small room but well organised, correct insulation Small room but OK if for business
Proximity to everything, small but quality fitout, all inclusive package, friendly attitude by hotel personnel. No
Excellent amenities, breakfast was awesome, friendly and helpful staff, super comfortable bed, small but modern and stylish room. Location is excellent and makes exploring the region by train really easy. We had a great time here. Bathroom is tiny (although very clean), faulty shower door installation would make splashing wather on bathroom floor unavoidable.
Unable to control room temperature.Opening window was too noisy. On two days we received only 1 towel when there were 2 people.
Easy to find near station and easy to get into the citycentre
It was convenient and non-smoking. Had wifi and breakfast was helpful Rooms small and bathroom wall see through and toilet uncomfortable.
good value for money
Nice, new, clean, perect location in front of the station. Good breakfast
Location, clean and with all the facilities in good shape. Very helpful employees and kind with us all the time. We liked the hotel very much. I absolutely recomend the hotel Some of the people have no good skill in English, so with some of them there were some trouble to make them understand, but it was more an exeption than a rule.
Staffs are kind, just front of Rennue station, free water and coffee survice, free internet access. Small room but functionally OK, breakfast also not good but minimum.
Good price, clean room, especially the lady who was working in the information and gave me check-in was excellent!! Nothing
Quality of food and choice of menu at dinner Allowing clients to feed their dogs at the table and then fetch food from the buffet.British people would be put off by this and that is why i would not reccomend this hotel to British friends
Clean and comfortable, good value for money and the local transport system is very good( there is a bus to the centre every 10 minutes) No negatives.
We use this hotel 5 times a year as a 'journey break'. It is good value, conveniently situated and we know what we will get.
Central, but quiet location Bar was closed because of holidays. Our room wasn't cleaned until after 2pm on more than one occassion.
Great location and really comfortable rooms. Free soft drinks and WiFi were a bonus. Plenty of places within walking distance to eat at. Wonderful city to walk around and soak up the atmosphere
Staff friendly and efficient, good location
The hotel was idealy located for exploring the centre of Rennes. Underground car park was very convenient. Gardens within the quadrangle provided a pleasant view from the room. Breakfast - restaurant staff were pleasant and helpful. Free wi fi great! The hotel was in reasonable decorative order, but needs refreshed now, to reflect the room cost. Our room had plenty of space, but the bathroom was set up for disabled and less comfortable than normal. Some reception staff were not pleasant or as helpful as you would expect. The car parking charges came as a surprise at check out - this should not be an additional charge. at the very least, they should be made clearer on the website and at the hotel when checking in.
The room was comfortable, the parking was convenient. The breakfast was nice. Getting good directions to certain restaurants was difficult. We found the map provided was either to small or inaccurate to follow on two occasions.
Excellent Breakfast Situation Noisy heating system throughout the night
city central no elevator in entrance
Good room, comfortable bed, quiet location, proximity to shops, restaurants, airport, trains and buses. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. none
Safe location, close to transport links, restaurants and shops, room is clean and quite big. No complaints
the hotel is at the city center, close to everything free access to the web
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were large enough to feel comfortable but small enough to feel cosy with the family Tennis court was a waste of space - better to have a swimming pool
Hotel was comfortable and good value for money, free parking was a plus.
Excellent breakfast, funky decor in corridors, peaceful location Far from city center (but fine with a car)
The receptionist was friendly and helpfull. The room was clean. Check-in at 16.00 was so late. The room for 2 persons was small. For us, we are small, it was O.K but for others...
We were travelling as a group of motorcyclists and were given the house in the back to stay in, the young man in charge was so helpfull and athough his english wasn't good and our french was basic we had a great time.
It was clean, comfortable and good value. It was further away from the town centre than we had been led to believe
Our stay was very good just what we wanted + the free car parking we felt that the breakfast was a little expensive
The apartment room was perfect
The breakfast was very good and great fun for children - orange juice machine and lots of fun things to look at
Helpful concierge. Room very small and better suited to single occupancy However ok for an overnight stay as we had done. Horrible rubber undersheet on mattress. Fortunately we always carry a spare blanket with us for just such events!! Quite dingy and not a particularly good area.
A pleasant inner-city hotel to stay in, and very handy, just out the south entrance of the station. The breakfast was good too.
Very convenient, right next to the railway station - ideal for rail travellers. (No noise from station). Very clean. Breakfast good. Staff very polite and most helpful.
cheap price and close to railway station (and the women's prison!)
Easy access to the Rennes Train Station We requested 3 beds and the room was very small and one of the beds was actually a cupboard in the wall. Too small to comfortably sleep in.
The room was very clean and comfortable We couldn't get the airconditioning to work properly
Nice,clean,cheap,friendly,with normal breakfast.
good value for money, clean, excellent location staff had a really cold approach
A very convenient and clean hotel in Rennes. My family of 4 stayed in one large room comfortably. It was so close to the train station that hauling luggages to and from the hotel was not a hardship even for elderly travelers. The only drawback to me was the petit dejeuner. Coming from the U.S. I was not expecting an American continental breakfast with cereal and yogurt. However, my 12 year old son loved it.
Efficiently run modern hotel. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Located next door to the railway station (but no noise problem). Easy walking distance from a choice of restaurants. Just the job for an overnight stay. Took breakfast at the hotel and there was a good choice of fresh cold buffet items and hot drinks (including tea) available, fair value. A computer is available for internet access, but at 5 euros for 15 minutes a little pricey.
