Staff was great perfect place for a quick stop through town.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Our room didn't have a refrigerator, which would have been nice.
The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. We arrived late at night 30 minutes before the bar was suppose close. We thought we would have time to grab a drink before bed to unwind but unfortunately the bar closed early that night.
Many basic needs were met coupled with little nuances, example... the pop machine did not gouge us. No refrigerator in the room.
Rooms are clean and quiet Hotel is up to date They are making additional upgrades, including the Concierge Room Easy location to get back on the highway The price via Kayak was a steal Nothing
It was a comfortable room and the bed was amazing! The room was inclusive, worth the money. The staff was amazing also. Free hot breakfast and coffee! I really enjoyed my stay. My husband and I will definitely come and stay again. Very clean and comfortable. Thank you. We also enjoyed the pool. Clean towels and just right tempature. That we didn't stay long enough! ;)
Nice clean updated Bathroom door doesnt seal because its a glass barn slider. awkward. beds were meh. pillows meh.
The area is very close to Kings Island where I work so it's a great option for me. And the front desk was very nice in letting me check in after my shift ended at 2am. The hotel is currently under construction. And it is a bit of a walk from the lobby to the elevators.
Hotel is going through renovations, so the rooms are quite sleek and comfortable. The lobby is beautiful, and the associates are extremely professional and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel. Nothing. It was a perfect stay.
Location was convenient. We were there for a funeral and they provided a complimentary bag of goodies and condolences card.
Clean, recently renovated rooms. Really nicely done! The staff were beyond welcoming - they did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Nothing!
They are in the middle of remodeling. My room was newly done. It had very modern decor and furnishings. the bathroom was especially nice. I loved the huge shower and amazing shower head. Bed was very comfortable as well. Front desk staff was very helpful. Decor was dated on lower floors, but again, they are remodeling so that should be taken care of shortly.
Beautiful decor. Comfortable beds. Staff is very nice. Loved everything

Staff were great Hotel under construction, great deal of noise, not able to get some rest
The staff were amazing! Very polite and accommodating. I honestly can't say enough good things about the women working the front desk. The fitness area was very nice. For what I paid this was a great deal; however, given the star level, it did seem really dated. Pool was cold and there was no hot tub. It wasn't as convenient to KI as I'd hoped. Arrangements w/ the hotel for type of room was frustrating.

The room was newly renovated. Was conveniently located to trstaurants and shopping. Perfect! A bit of a walk to the elevators....
Location and quality. The check-in staff was a little rude upon arrival, but otherwise, good experience. There was a really nice staff person that gave our kids pennies to throw in the fountain. The kids loved that!
The playground for the children. It was not clean.
The location The room. It felt ghetto. Stale smelling room.
I've stayed at the Super 8 in Huntington, WV & Portsmouth, OH many times and found them to be reasonably price hotels similar to a Holiday Inn. The Super 8 in Mason was a Motel with a peeling tub, grimey floors. I was traveling solo with my daughter and did not feel safe on the lower level with a large front window. It was a snowy weekend, but the parking lot was not cleared at all.
The breakfast was good... The location to Kings Island was great for the price. All the staff were very friendly, and they even went out of there way to help us! Great place to stay for the money! The only problem we had was the sports bar across the street was rather loud on Saturday night
Very close to tennis center. Staff was friendly Wallpaper peeling off walls. Needs some updates.
No one at the counter when checked in and out had to wait for someone to come to counter. Carpet dirty and stained in room.
Location to Kings Island Dated facility in need of an update. Pool was not heated and cloudy. Messy public areas.
not very clean and kept up.
Great location, right next to the tennis center. Free shuttle was nice. Good value. Only stocked with enough coffee for one person. Trouble with key card working. Glob of toothpaste in sink.
Location. Dirty. Poor maid service. Old TV. No refrigerator in room. Over priced.
Pool open till midnight, shuttle to psrk Layout of room thought it would be nicer for value
Everything was how it should have been. We had a very relaxing stay! Breakfast was great! Was super impressed! Will stay again when we are in town! The only complaint I have, would be on our second day, while we were out, housekeeping didn't make/change our beds.
Very quick and helpful checkin. Nice clean beds. Very comfortable! Great breakfast selections. Will stay here again.
Staff was friendly . Large fridge in room. The room was very tight. Last room near the stairwell. The bathroom smelled , the bed sheet was stained. The coffee machine was in the restroom so would never use it.
The room was well furnished, the staff seemed friendly, and the hotel was not overcrowded or loud. The room was not well cleaned: gum on trashcan, dust in bathroom, hair on linens. These were minor details, but things that we nevertheless did notice.
price, location beds and bedding were nice older facility very small elevator few snack/soda machines
we had a very nice time at this hotel, not only was the pool great for the kids but they also enjoyed their breakfast, which they usually don't eat much, but they enjoyed the cereal. I'd stay there again
Food service 24/7, friendly staff, clean and quiet!
only one person working, ice machines only every other floor, lobby & bar together - so we had to watch a gross drunk man and lady making out while we checked in, could not find ice machine & no staff on duty to ask - just a note at front desk that said "be right back", worst of all, they did not even have the room we reserved and tried to put us in a different room w/only one bed, when we refused that , we got an older room across from the kitchen, which was a bummer, room set up was odd - tv located awkwardly between bed & sitting area. We spent our second night at the Marriott down the street (were in town to go to IKEA) and it was truly EXCELLENT - for SAME PRICE !
We had a blast...always do! We would go a lot more often if it wasn't so expensive to stay.
We've stayed at Great Wolf a number of times, but this was our first in Cincinnati. It was very consistent - rooms were spacious, waterpark was clean. Our daughter LOVED MagicQuest, and the people in the store were very knowledgeable and helpful. Great stay! We normally don't go in peak season, so we weren't used to having a wait to check in. The desk clerks were really efficient, so the line moved quickly.
great themed atmosphere. Surpringly plenty to do in the waterpark! Something for the entire family! Magiquest is there, so plan on $40-90 more per child for that. The price of hotel is High dollar.
The hotel staff was excellent from check-in to check out. Excellent desk staff, excellent breakfast and breakfast staff. Rooms are clean and quiet. Pool area was convenient. Lots of restaurants nearby. Out of King's Island season, so I don't know what this would be like in season, but given the staff, I would say still very good to excellent. Bathrooms could stand to be redone, particularly the sink.
Perfect location and spacious, clean room!
Location and breakfast No
I loved the fact they served dinner as well as breakfast, it was so nice not to have to go back out for dinner after a long day. The accomodations were awesome and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. Nothing
Spacious rooms No
How big it was No
The room was incredible. We loved all the space we had and felt at home because it was so clean and even smelled clean. Check out was noon but the maid knocked on our door at 10:30 and wanted us to leave so she could clean and told us checkout was at 11. We felt rushed and when we did leave at 11:30, there was a cleaning staff of 3 right outside our door waiting.
Was not given right room and issue was not corrected
Very clean and the staff was excellent!
Everyone was very loud. Staff included at all times. It was very hard to rest.
The room The hotel changed my rate per night without my knowledge.

This hotel is great for a get away weekend. Days and nights are fairly quite. Room was very clean and spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!! I stayed in a hotel with a stove top, only complaint I have is the limited utensils available.
close to my attraction, nice room under construction so it looked very messy from the outside, not very much parking on the front of hotel
Though my room was clean and up to standard, the entrance and hallways were very substandard. I swear the elevator buttons had blood on them and it remained there my entire two days stay. Staff were very nice, carpet needs replacing and much cleaning is
Decor No hot water in the shower. Too much construction outside.
room was nice. the breakfast was not great.
The updated rooms are very nice and I loved having the spa Pillows were worthless and no trashcan in the room. Also took the front desk several minutes to even recognize I had walked in
Dogs are welcome, no extra cost. The hotel is under construction, out side was a shambles.Ice machines old, one on second floor did not work. Problem with new beds in rooms, to tall for senior citizen to get into bed, staff was not helpful, solutions were not acceptable. Will never return

The staff made me wait to check in and I was so tired from my travel. I don't like the pillows
The bed was amazingly comfortable and the rooms are very nice, clean and modern (just updated.) I really appreciated that it was a 100% non-smoking hotel. If I am back in the area, this is the hotel I will stay at. There was construction going on, but it did not impede on my stay in any way and there was no noticeable noise from 9pm to 8am when I left.
The rooms were newly remodeled. The pool and hot tub were great. The staff was polite and did their best, but I feel they were understaffed. The entire place is clean. Worst thing - the shower handle was secured in a way that prevented a hot shower. I assume this was done in an effort to save money. Requested maintenance, never altered it. The sink stopped working the last day.
very comfortable beds no
Stayed in a brand new redecorated room. Nicely furnished and very comfortable. Nice option for families visiting Kings Island. It was still in a remodel phase.
Beds super comfortable, clean, good pillows, a microwave and fridge in the room for travel. Really convenient to Whole Foods and lots of restaurants. Pool incredibly small, thought there would be a hot tub to relax. No hot tub. Breakfast is not free. When I think of the Hilton, I think a little nicer and was hoping for a little more luxuries..
I inadvertently left gold chain at the hotel that has a great deal of sentimental value to me as it was given to me by my mother to whom it had initially been given by her grandmother. I called the hotel and within minutes they had located the chain and my brother was able to pick it up for me. They were very friendly and professional in handling this.
When my dad had to have an extended hospital stay and surgery, my family had several rooms at the Holiday inn Express in Mason City. Crystal, the manager was an angel for us. She made sure that we had rooms that were comfortable and close together and took care of us with compassion and kindness. Our rooms and the entire building was exceptionally clean. The food was good. The beds were really comfortable and the service was great. At at time when we were in crisis mode, Crystal and the staff at the Holiday Inn Express made our lives tolerable. She eliminated the stress of where to stay and for that we are extremely grateful.
Stayed here one night for business. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. It's a newer hotel, I think it's about a year old. Good value for the money. This was my first stay at a Holiday Inn Express. I normally look for Marriots and Residence Inn's but now I wou;dn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone who wants a decent place to stay.
Everything was great. The beds could be less 'aircraft carrier'-like
Good hotel typical of Holiday Inn express. Ataff was friendly.
We arrived late to a friendly staff. We had two rooms and both were inviting and welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and although we had reservations because we normally stay at the Double Tree or Hilton we were pleasantly surprise. The suites elsewhere offered double beds this hotel had two queen size beds, it was heaven. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to all our friends.
If you are going to Kings Island, this is the perfect hotel with only a three to five minute drive. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was great and offered different hot items everyday including sausaga, bacon, omelets, and biscuits and gravy. I would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay there & would stay there again
I had a great time. I highly recommend getting a room with a hot tub in the room as my wife and I did. It was relaxing, the room was clean, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely go back.
Needed a last minute place to stay and as a rewards customer of another chain I was reluctant to move to another chain. However this Holiday Inn had a nice inviting air very clean and after checking the rates which were very reasonable for a non-reserved guest I decided to stay. Great customer service throughout the 4 day visit. Room was spacious and just a testament to the Holiday Inn reinvention of itself. As a frequent traveler I would definitely include this to my repertoire of stay options.
Best Beds Ever! Slept like a baby! Although I wish the hot tub was a little bigger in my room it was still a wonderful stay!
This makes the second time I have stayed in a Drury Inn. Both experiences were pleasant. The facilities are always clean, the people friendly and I like that I can bring my pets if I need to. The hot breakfast was a selling point the first time, and now it is a welcome reminder of how I will look for Drury whenever I travel. The staff was pleasant and helpful and I have felt very safe during both stays. We were all impressed by the price of our stay. The benefits of breakfast, evening snacks, friendly staff, cleanliness and feeling of safety far outway the cost of the stay.
This is a very nice, new hotel,. The only problem is the location, which is close to the freeway and the main road is right out front. Late at night when going to sleep and early in the morning you will hear all of the traffic gunning their engines to make it through the lights or the semi's 'jake braking' to stop at the light. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared. Breakfast was ok.
We stayed here for the Southern & Western tennis tournament which was about 15 miles away. We only paid * a night which I think is a great bargain for a hotel room these days. The room was large, very clean and had comfortable beds. Each bed had 3 pillows, each with different thicknesses to choose from. It had a flat screen tv(!), a microwave and a mini-fridge. We had leftovers from dinner one night and were able to save them in the fridge and reheat them the next day for a snack. The bathroom was also large and actually kind of luxurious with granite and marble throughout. They had nightly free cocktails and snacks (which I sadly had to miss everynight since I was at the tournament), but it sounded nice. The free breakfast was the usual cereals, fruits, yogurts, eggs, sausage, etc. Not bad. The only reason I gave dining was because there was no restaurant in the hotel, you had to go out to eat. We got back late one night and couldn't find anywhere to eat and had to order a pizza. Other then that, I would stay here again, much nicer then other mid-price hotels.
Very nice, clean hotel. Worth the extra money for nightly stays...snacks in evening and great breakfast buffet. Staff are always willing to please and very friendly and helpful. Great Location!! Plan on staying at this hotel on future visits to town to visit family.
Liked the amenities (wifi, LCD TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, etc). Rooms were very clean and quiet. Unlike other hotels in the area, lots of TV channels available including local weather. Close to restaurants, Kroger, Meijer, but a bit of a trick to get to gas (Meijer is closest). First time at this property, but not the last.
We reserved our king Suite at the Drury Inn in Middletown, Ohio three months in advance. One week before our arrival date, we were sent an email reservation confirmation for a suite with two queen beds instead of the king bed that we had reserved. I called to correct the problem and was told that the king suite was no longer available for the dates of our stay. Had I received the email confirmation immediately, I would have corrected the problem right away. But since they waited until right before our arrival date to send the confirmation, the king suite that we wanted (and had reserved) was no longer available. I was told that we could move from the queen suite to the king suite on the second night of our stay. But we would have to check out of the queen suite by 11:00 am and check back into the king suite after 3:00 pm. So the morning after our arrival we packed our bags again and checked out of our queen suite, with reassurances from the staff that the king suite was waiting for us when we were allowed to check back in at 3:00. When I arrived just a few hours later to check into the king suite that we had been promised, it was not available! No suites were available at all at that point! The management at this hotel had better get their act together regarding reservations. Every staff member we talked to at the front desk was confused about the reservation system. I understand this hotel is new, but it's not going to last long if they can't take and honor a simple reservation.
Itt was a clean and nice place to stay. There wasn't a lot of noise exept for some taffici. They had a nice pool and spa. I would stay again.
The front desk staff were very friendly. We were there for a family funeral and were given their condolances several times with our stay. There were a total of four rooms that were taken up by other family members that also enjoyed there stay. \n\nWe stay in 3 -4 hotels per year and loved this hotel. We are planing a family reunion and planing on staying here again!!! We didn't know there was a pool and small hot tub, so we didn't bring swim suits. The pool is inside/outside. The free hot breakfast was good also. All the staff were very friendly and eager to please.
Nice new hotel. Had problems with tv, maintenance came quick. Have nice LCD tvs. Had 2 room suite. Large living area with pull out sofa sleeper. Daughter said it slept decent. She had very good wireless reception on her laptop in that room. Nice bathroom and bedroom was good size with wonderful king sized bed and plasma tv. Nice closet area also. Room had not been cleaned properly. Crumbs all over bedroom floor. Refrig had not been cleaned, items left from prior quests. Trash had not been changed. Elevator was out of order. Had to take luggage up 4 floors. Other parts of the hotel seemed very nice. Had great breakfast and evening reception. Our dog was accepted very well. Great to have a good place to stay that not only allow pets, but do not charge fees. Managment took the time to come up to our room and address issues. Staff was impeccible, from front desk, management and also maintenance. We were compensated for our problems and that revealed to me that they did care. Lots of restaurants close. I would definitely return to this hotel again. Have stayed at many Drury's and will continue to patronize their corporation because of the staff I have encountered and their williness to do things right.
Enjoyed our Stay. Staff Very Polite. Hotel very clean. Nice dining area. Decent breakfast (biscuits and gravy, sausage, juice, waffles, scrambled eggs, cereal + more) Free soda fountain until 11pm, free popcorn too (kids enjoyed this) Pool was nice (indoor/outdoor), but pool chemicals smelled a little strong. Great T.V. in the room - LCD flat screen (LG). Great value for the price. Will stay again.
Very nice hotel. Good location to shopping and Casino. No.
The location, very clean rooms and nice hotel overall. One lind of minor thing. They had some event there that evening until mid night. When I got to the hotel around 10:30pm there was no parking so I had to go elsewhere until party was over.
Nice lobby, great room+great bathroom.
New and clean; staff was courteous and helpful. Convenient to the highway and to our destination in West Chester. No
Clean. Friendly staff.
Very nice Price, way too expensive Pool was cold
Clean, quiet and comfortable. Lots of restaurant choices nearby.
Nice hotel & great location. N/a

The room was very nice and for the price we got it at. Loved it Nope
First hotel that I've been to that charged for their continental breakfast. And the hot breakfast (an additional fee) was not as good as others that were simply in a chafing pan.
All the facilities The springs on the hinges in the bathroom door to keep it closed all the time. Annoying
Comfortable beds, nice pool area and clean hotel. Room keys failed often. Floor in bath rooms and first floor hallway very clean however rather slippery design. Breakfast not included in hotel price. No food service in hotel.
My daughter and I woke up extra early to try to swim before check out and our room key card was already shut off and wouldn't allow us to access the pool
When we explained our issues with our room & found out there were no other rooms available, the person at the front desk gave us a refund without too much fuss. She first offered us air freshener, and when we declined she asked "is it really THAT bad?" which was bit of a turn-off, but we were thankful that she refunded us quickly. When we first arrived, we had to call because the person who was working the front desk was away cleaning rooms (about 5:00 pm). When we got to our room, the TV had been left on & was blaring. Unfortunately, there wasn't a remote control, and we couldn't turn it off. Then we noticed that our non-smoking room smelled strongly of smoke; we are not super sensitive to that, but this was very noticeable, and we would not have been comfortable staying. We also noticed that the bathroom door would not close all the way, which would have been uncomfortable if we had decided to stay. The room wasn't very clean either, although if this had been the only issue, we likely would have stayed, as it wasn't TERRIBLY unclean. We went up to see if there was a different room available, but they were all booked, so we asked for a refund. We happily found another hotel in the area that was much better, for a similar price.
The use of space, meaning covering the air unit with wood and putting a pad\pillow there to create a lounge area. Looking out over a parking lot and field isn't the most pleasant. looked like it was a cover up clean up, done hastily with paint on the floor in bathroom, looked like blood.
Room was good size and comfortable. Frig, microwave, window seat and night light were nice additions. Staff friendly and helpful. Overall happy with my overnight stay. There was no shampoo or conditioner in room.
The staff was very friendly, beds were comfortabe. Location was prime for our trip to kings island. Tha value for the price was excellent. I stay here every time I go to King's Island and plan on staying here on future visits. The housekeeping staff need better attention to detail. There were stains on the mattress. The chair in the room had dust on it that had not been touched in a while. The shower curtain rod had come loose and was drooping causing me to bump my head. Televisions could uses some updating.
