Pros: The hotel owner was very welcoming.
Cons: When we arrived after a day of walking on the Camino, we learned that the restaurant, and all the other restaurants in town, were closed for the evening because there was a local festival on. Cons: Nothing!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room was excelente
Cons: The A/C
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is a good spread to suit all. Maybe the scrambled egg could be alternated with fried eggs. The central location is superb. We upgraded our room to a street view and it was most probably the quietest room we have ever used, no noise from below, above or the side! We liked the free water in the mini bar being replaced every day. The hotel is unique in the fact that because it has no bar facilities, free drinks are on offer in the dining area, not seen this before. Also a special mention for the reception staff, we found them very friendly and most helpful in giving us advise, directions etc. Thank you Blue Coruna for a splendid week's stay.
Cons: The bathroom should have hair conditioner available, my wife did get some by asking at the reception. Also a box of tissues should be available. There was a small packet when we arrived but was not replaced during the week.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good and easy with enough choices. Room with amazing terrace was a plus, fabulous view over the city. Good central position for walking around town, parking a bit scary but ok and reception were very helpful on this issue and many others. Snacks and drinks during the day an added bonus.
Cons: Nothing.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fresh and delicious.
Cons: There were not many options to choose from. Especially as a vegetarian, there were not very many choices. The restaurant and room service have no vegetarian options. This NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great breakfast and comfortable bed. Staff were extremely nice and helpful.
Cons: Our room (Double or Twin Room with Patio View) didn't have any natural light and we simply didn't know what time of the day it is (day or night) or how the weather is like outside! We read on our booking that 'the rooms overlook the light well.' and knew it's not going to be great but the picture of the room was misleading as it had a window overlooking a balcony with natural light. If i stay again, I will pay a bit more for a room with a proper window, as our room was too dark.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast had such a variety and everything was delicious. Had the breakfast both days it was perfect.
Cons: Nothing I didn’t like. The accommodations were wonderful and the staff so kind and helpful.

2.5 Mediocre
Cons: THIS HOTEL IS USED AS A SEX HOTEL!!! UPON ARRIVAL I WENT TO MY ROOM WHICH ARE LOCATED OUTSIDE WITH PRIVATE PARKING/Garages. I arrived at 10.30pm on a Saturday night and there were three rooms just starting to be cleaned as I arrived, obviously after being used as their afternoon session rooms, which you can book for 4 hours at a time. I mean what normal hotel let’s you book a room for 4 hours? There was cars coming and going most of the night, you could everything from all the other rooms close by. Everything you didn’t want to hear you could hear. The menu for the cafeteria has a sex shop part to it, ashtrays in the room with full length mirrors, sec channels on the tv and free condoms in the bathrooms. This should not be allowed to be advertised on booking.com and should also be advised that it is used as a hotel for this purpose. At least they could do is split the rooms so the ones being used for this service are separate from business stays or indeed if a family wanted to stay here it would be totally unacceptable. Totally and utterly let down and wasted money. No chance of any sleep due to constant noise and comings and goings of people in all the other rooms etc.

Cons: Room not entirely clean (fingerprints on mirror/windows and urine under rim of toilet seat), price of underground parking was quite high (55 Euros for 36 hours)

Cons: The biggest issue with my stay was a problem with the air conditioning. Every-time we set it to a certain temperature after an hour or so it be revert to a default setting of 28 degrees celsius which was much too hot. We asked the hotel to fix it and they told us they did but the same thing happened the second night. Upon checkout we informed them that the problem had not been fixed and the staff basically called us liars saying that someone had fixed it and not believing us that is had not worked and we had slept terribly again because of the room being too hot. Ruined the whole hotel experience which was fine other than this. The staff member refused to even apologize and didn't think to offer us complimentary breakfast or anything else to make us want to come back to this hotel ever again.

The NH Collection A Coruña Finisterre hotel is a short distance from A Coruña airport, next to the old town with its shops and bars and just a five minute walk from the Palexco Congress Center. The hotel faces the sea and is a short walk from the harbor. Our bright, stylish guest rooms all have a sea view and include extras such as free Wi-Fi and a hydro-massage bath. Our Junior Suites sleep four and are ideal for families. There are also a selection of family friendly amenities, such as baby baths and bottle warmers available too. We prepare a fresh breakfast buffet for our guests on a daily basis which includes made-to-order hot dishes. We offer a kids’ breakfast as well as an early bird breakfast upon request. La Terraza Restaurant & Bar is situated on NH Collection A Coruña Finisterre's terrace and serves both international and local cuisine for dinner accompanied by live music on the hotel’s spectacular terrace. The Novo Restaurant is a great alternative for lunch or dinner and serves international and local dishes. Both restaurants provide private dining, vegetarian options, and children’s meal choices. The nearby sports complex has three pools for adult use and one pool for children and a well-equipped gym. It also has spa facilities, tennis courts and paddle courts available for guest use.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great view from the room, sports facilities are excellent
Cons: Hotel looks a little dated and room was not as clean as I expect for the price. Stained carpets etc
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a super comfortable hotel with parking in a great location. Breakfast was great with a fab tea station that made a difference.
Cons: Hotel room got a bit stuffy at times and although windows can be opened, it would work better with an A/C.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: location is excellent, breakfast very good with nice view.
Cons: carpets and parts of the furniture have suffered from intense use and need a makeup.
10.0 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location near to main square/tapas area and also access to old part of city which had hidden gems for sightseeing and restaurants/tapas
Cons: No dislikes. Didn't bother with breakfast or restaurant as prefer to go to local places
6.8 Good
Pros: Good location, nice breakfast.
Cons: Was advertised as all rooms with sea view. Our 1st room was view of a building site and when we asked to be moved our 2nd room was view of a roof.
5.0 Okay
Pros: They had valet parking and and a decent view from my room. The windows opened. Bathrobes & slippers. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: This was supposed to be a 5 star property and was horrible. Definitely not a 5 star. NH Collection, what in the world??? I trusted your brand. Entered two rooms that wreaked of smoke. Staff insisted this was a no smoking property by pointing to brass no smoking signs in the hallway. They need to leave that ionizing machine in those rooms for a week. Third room was better. Dings In walls and furniture. Waze sent me through the old part of town where cars are not allowed. I don’t know why GPS gets this wrong because it is off a regular road by the port.
5.5 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Carpets are awful, staff unfriendly
6.8 Good
Pros: Room view poor, room seemed dated, breakfast room nice, staff really nice

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place to stay!!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location is great overlooking the waterfront! We had a view of the water that was lovely! There was air conditioning, which was nice at night, so we could close the window to avoid any noise from the streets below. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast buffet is big with lots to chose from and it's delicious.
Cons: It's a bit of a walk to get to the areas of interest and where the majority of the restaurants and cafes are. But if you're willing to walk or use the bus system, it's not a problem. The furniture in the lobby could be updated, but it's not a deal breaker.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice chain hotel type room and bathroom very clean and very comfortable bed. Quite as we were at the back of the hotel.
Cons: Area not nearly as nice as it looks on the photos, hotel is near the sea but the promenade area and the whole surrounding area are very run down as is the town generally, not a place we would visit again. Nicest area near the port where all the bars and restaurants are, had a pleasant evening but nothing much to do in the daytime. Not really a holiday destination.
6.8 Good
Pros: The view over the beach, and the convenience of being near the centre
Cons: Almost everything! Hard beds, NO outdoor space anywhere - crazy for a hot beach resort. No balcony, no bar, no garden, no pretty seating area either inside or out, no where to sit and grab a drink. Basically an old fashioned hotel built for business travellers or conference stay guests. No facilities, no pool, etc. I ended up sitting on the hotel steps waiting for my taxi......! horrid. Definitely NOT for family or relaxing in.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Brilliant view, v attentive staff, nice breakfast environments
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast!!
Cons: Door did not locked from inside.
7.0 Good
Pros: The view.
Cons: Doors and walls really need better insulation - one could hear the wind whistling every time someone opened a door or a window. One could also hear the very loud bangs of doors slamming.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location.
Cons: Bathroom was designed for handicapped person and outdated. Found hair on the bed linen. Some staff not helpfull/knowledgeable. Breakfast expensive at $20 euros per person
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and presentable. Lovely setting by one of the larger beeches.
Cons: Bed had a “camp bed” feel about it. Not good when you consider the cost of the stay.

Pros: The location close to the bus and train stations was a major factor in choosing this hotel. The staff were very helpful whenever I required any assistance.
Cons: Nothing at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfy hotel, we would stay again
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Inside the hotel is totally refurbished, quiet, stylish and clean. However, it is situated next to the highway (convenient when driving into and out of town) and further from the center than other hotels. However, it was a perfect place to stay for a night and spend an evening before travelling on.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was a very pleasant surprise for the price I paid... have paid a lot more for a lot worse, even in Spain. Reception very friendly and the location beside the railway station was very handy. Room was decent size, bed was very good and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was very good too. Overall, would say this was very good value for money.
Cons: Like a lot of Spanish hotels, walls seem to be paper thin, so could hear comings and goings during the night. Whilst the location is great for the railway station, its a good 20min plus walk to the centre of the town... this wasn't a problem for me, but could be for others.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: breakfast is wonderful. compliment bottled water is provided.
Cons: no kettle is provided in the room, but it is usual for all hotels in the area. It was a three bed room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Did not have breakfast

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Looks like a recently renovated hotel. Very clean, comfortable rooms, beds and bathroom. Very helpful staff. Good wifi at rooms. Hotel has useful amenities and services.
Cons: Parking lot is not in the same property and is very complicated to get in there. Location is not the best, a little far from the center and there are not good restaurant options around.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Room was large and comfortable.
Cons: A little far to walk to town but taxis were cheap and readily available.
5.3 Okay
Pros: price, location was good
Cons: would not print a document for me, no curtains only net curtains?
6.0 Good
Pros: The best thing about this hotel was the meal of the day, very good value for money
Cons: Quite a walk to the car park especially if you have a walking disability
3.5 Mediocre
Pros: very friendly staff
Cons: our room faced the major street, difficult to sleep with cars going by, it also faced the large 'hotel avenida' sign that is lit up at night, the windows had sheer filthy curtains on them. They just need some nicer light blocking curtains and bedspreads on the beds instead of just blankets and it would make a big difference in appearance.
5.0 Okay
Pros: I liked the convenience to the bus and train stations.
Cons: I did not like breakfast was not unitl 7:35am the morning we were leaving. The receptonist was not welcoming and friendly and did not go the extra mile in customer service. It seemed when asled a question it was an inconvenience rather than take ownership and help me out. I asked him if he could call my friend in his room and he said "no".
6.7 Good
Pros: Helpful staff, very comfortable sleep! Very close to train station; within walking distance. Hotel offers reasonably priced parking though isn't necessary as free parking in the area relatively easy to find.
Cons: For our one night stay, no problems at all.

Pros: Reasonable size of clean room. Good food in the restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The generous service of the team
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved the staff. Friendly and helpful. Great food and even better service.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: After a brief disagreement about whether I had paid online or not (I had!!), the staff was very friendly & welcoming. He even gave me a large bottle of water for my room (to a tired pilgrim, that means A LOT!!). The room was decorated so nicely & very comfortable. Even a bowl of candy by the bed. Hall bathroom was very clean & nice. Restaurant had delicious food & great service. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Only problem was when I first arrived. I was told I had not paid and that I needed to pay. I knew I had paid online through PayPal. I'm concerned that other pilgrims, being tired & not wanting to argue, would end up paying twice. If you know you've paid, insist that they make the necessary calls until they determine (like they did in my case), that the room has indeed been paid for.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved evertything, but mostely the hosts that were so kind and welcoming, and even though they don't speak English and we don't speak Spanish, they really made sure that we understand and were incredibly nice. Also, the food is amazing and served all day with a smile.
Cons: Nothing.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: it is a nice place, close to the beach and close to a few restaurants and cafeterias. It is a clean and comfortable place, with elavator and 3 different breakfast options. I would back if I have to travel to Coruña again.
Cons: No AC, so in summer is a bit hot, buy it is completly normal in some european countries.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: There have been many accurate comments on the excellence of this hotel which we would echo. The big surprise was the delightful area around the hotel. There is a stunning beach five minutes walk away with many good restaurants nearby. Also a few kilometers further down the coast is some lovely scenery and great walking. It was also easy to go into La Coruna by bus and inexpensive taxi ride if returning late. Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location!
Cons: Not a complaint but while breakfast was inexpensive it was also uninspiring.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was comfortable enough, but I woke up in the early hours with food poisoning from something I'd eaten at a nearby restaurant, so not my best memory. Spent most of my stay in the bathroom.
Cons: There was an unexpectedly steep driveway (not good for sore knees) which needed to be climbed to get to dining options by the water, a few blocks away. I also tripped on an unseen change of level in the garage near the lift. Some fluro tape would be helpful.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: I was visiting relatives who live close by right on the A Coruna side of the Puente del Pasaje bridge. It is very near to Sta. Cristina beach. We arrived by auto from Madrid in the early afternoon and had a quick check-in. We were in a "family accommodation" on the top floor with a small balcony facing the city. The rooms were simply furnished but comfortable, spacious and very clean. The hosts were not effusive but very kind. I was surprised that it seemed so quiet for this time of the year, but at the same time, pleased that it was so. The temperature at night was cool so the lack of air conditioning was not an issue. Other reviewers made mention of the lack of value on the breakfast. I couldn't disagree more, based on expectation. The simplest version included coffee and breakfast breads and fresh fruit. Usually, that's enough and comparable to what one might find at any of the cafes on the street.
Cons: Nothing really not to like. As I mention earlier, it's all about expectation. This is a "smallish" family run property. It has what you need to make a perfectly comfortable stay. If you're looking for a place with "facilities" like a corporate property might have, keep looking. One point that is well made is the steep decline down to the hotel entrance and the garage: not for the faint of heart (really). On the other hand, we didn't mind walking up and down from the street and we never had an issue finding a place to park on the street right outside the hotel entrance.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was great. Very friendly staff. Definitively recommended.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good, bus stop to A Coruna just about 100 mtrs, beach about 200 Mtrs plenty of cafe's and bars nearby, supermarket just down the road, the breakfast was continental and very reasonable. the room was very clean.
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. On arrival we found that our allocated room had no view and faced a brick wall. We requested a room with a view which despite being fully booked they were able to accommodate us. This meant spending two nights in one sea view room then being moved to another superior room. They moved our possessions with no fuss.
Cons: No problems
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and quiet
Cons: Nothing
