Extremely poor breakfast, considering the room rate!!
The hotel is nicely situated in a garden. It is possible to play golf, tennis and table tennis there. The hotel has a very nice spa/wellness facility with sauna, hammam and jacuzzi. The restaurant is quite nice as well. A combination for a very relaxing and agreeable week-end.
I appreciated the kins and efficient service, the clean and cossy room and the nice eating places in it The room was slightly small.
Very clean, comfortable and large single room. Quiet location. Great breakfast.
We had dinner at the Brasserie, which was outstanding. Both the food and service far exceeded our expectations.
It was close to where I had a meeting . Location is important. The resteurant is expensive
The food was superb. The breakfast buffet was well done and had a nice variety. The surrounding garden and proximity to all points of interest (city, Thermal spa, lake, nature trail) including public transportation was ideal. Show case windows (watches, etc.) were a nice added feature. Noise from private party and other guests.
Hotel staff is outstanding!!
The staff were very welcoming and at dinner the waiting staff quite charming, efficient and helpful. Great cooking too and don't miss dessert ! No air conditioning in the bedroom; the bath is narrow and I'm not wide !!
The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating to our requests. It made our experience delightful and we will be coming back each year. Our compliments to Miguel in the restaurant and Laura at the front desk. We will highly recommend this hotel to our friends and look forward to returning next year.
Free wifi. The room was small and dark (no ceiling lamp in the room itself, just a bedside lamp). The shower cabin was tiny like what you'd expect in a cheap motel. Common areas (reception area, lounge) were virtually non-existent, except the restaurant which is closed outside meal times. The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, beyond walking distance from the lake and 10 km from Yverdon.
Leaving The Manageress
Quiet hotel in a quiet village, good for an overnight stay.Restaurant very good. Language was difficult as only French an Italian were spoken.
Friendly atmosphere. Clean room. Excellent food. no
we were happy with the location and we had a wonderful meal, chateaubriand. perfect. not really.
Nobody told us, that the Doors are closed on Sunday. I had to go to take something in my car and left my kea in my room. An other guest had to help my to get in again.
Beds are very very comfortable.
Friendly staff Very basic room not 4*, need a car, menu limited and very expensive
It's very cheap and I felt comfortable, just like home. It's a good place.
Sunday night there was a terrible noise in the hotel; I guess that the owners or the staff had a party or something. There was shouting and yelling, sounds like someone was raped and it seemed to be a fight going on. For hours there was not possible to sleep because of this noise, and we did not dare to go out in the corridore. We did not get any explanation afterwards, because the one who could speak english, did not appear after this incident.
a very clean and cozy place; the foods they provided are excellent, especially the beef and spring rollers; the staffs are so gentle and helpful; I most enjoy the terrace, it has a fantastic view to the mountain and grassland
The hotel is in a nice setting in a quiet location When I arrived I was told the single room I had booked was already taken. I was offered a double room instead, but I was charged half the difference of the cost beween the rooms. I was then informed breakfast was not available until 09:00. This for me was far too late as it takes 40 minutes to get to Yverdon-les-bains centre by train. They could/would not leave any breakfast out ready for the morning but gave me 2 bottles of fruit juice instead.
Close to family.
