Restaurant was great Charge for parking
The location was perfect for our visit to the area and the comfort of the hotel. Having to pay $19.00 per day for parking.
It was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The television was nice too. The coffee was delicious. The fact that I was given a room next to testosterone fueled college athletes. They were extremely rowdy, yelling in the halls and slamming doors. The guys in the room directly next to mine kept yelling so loud, it was as if though in the room with me. I was a little worried at first thinking they were arguing and that it would escalate. Luckily, it didn't go further than yelling and slamming doors.
I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and caring. When I checked in, I was talking with the front desk and i told her about my crazy travel day with canceled flights, she said I would like to buy you a drink. She called the bar and told them I would be down and the first drink, no matter what is on the house. Overall great place to stay if your working in Pasadena, Glendale, and Burbank areas. I had a great stay.
The parking fair is charged on the card you leave on file. Self Peking however you are required to pay 18 dollars a day. Not a way we wanted to spend our honeymoon
Very convinient hotel, close to Universal Studios, close to lots of shops and restaurants. Very accomodating staff. We will for sure be back. Just the parking fee.
The rooms were big and clean. Very comfortable! Our toilet backed up... Wasn't from a giant turd or anything though.. (my wife did it)
EXTREMELY convenient location (near the freeway, Trader Joe's, gas station, and Walgreens), with plenty of great dining options nearby. Crab Boil Ave. and Porto's Bakery & Cafe were my favorite.
The hotel is in a good location, right off the freeway. The room was nice and big, and breakfast was quite good.
Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Friendly front service. Gift/snack shop located near lobby. $19 a night to park in their garage & the parking spots are for small compact cars. The walls are thin and our room was across from the ice machine. Needless to say but I got little sleep the one night I spent there. For a Hilton I expected much more.
I loved it. Don't like how pricey it was for one night but overall it was a good experience. The only downfall was the shower because theres no rail for the water to not get out of the shower! So water gets everywhere!
I was super impressed by the staff at the Hotel. Can't think of anything
Large, inviting hotel with friendly staff and amenities to make this a comfortable place to stay for several nights. Filling, excellent breakfast. In-room wifi and manager's cocktail hour. Loads of parking under the hotel--with plenty of space! The two rooms feel separate---two TVs. This would work well for families I imagine. This will be the hotel I use when I return to Glendale.
Absolutely nothing. I couldn't wait to get outta that hotel. Everything. The staff-rude, non-friendly. Poor customer service skills, Experienced BED BUGS in the rooms, Rooms were not cleaned, Food on the floor-scattered- from previous customer, Toilets had urine & pubic hair all over, sink had toothpaste markings from others, Stains & Water damage on the walls--felt like a motel 6!! Not Embassey Suites at $200+/night!! Then having to fight for what's right to please the customer after horrible vacation experience. Ruined everything. Will never stay here again.
Paying for parking
Location, staff, everything the hotel had to offer! One morning the power went out and we had to go down 12 flights of stairs to get breakfast, then back up 12 flights and back down again to start our day.
great room, space, and vibe Man in front questioned if I parked inside or not even after I told him I'm moving my car. I parked outside instead. I was also charged inappropriately for the parking
Check in was fast and easy, afternoon reception was nice: glass of wine and a snack. Free breakfast was great, so easy to go downstairs and get a bite to eat, I'm let station, bacon, eggs, fruit, cereal.. very complete breakfast with lots of seating. The room was also very clean, we had a view of the lobby but it was fine. The beds were super comfy and bathroom was large and clean. Location was easy to find and right off the freeway exit and 10 min from universal studios. The parking was $14 a day which is a little steep in my opinion. The power went out for about 10 min, but the elevators were out of service for 2 hours until one elevator was back in service, which made it difficult to take the luggage down. Other than that great hotel.
The hotel is within walking distance to shopping and dining. The hotel is also in great location for many sites and activities (beaches, Hollywood, Universal Studioy, etc.). Embassy as usual has the best breakfasts. I wish the parking was free but when in Rome........ There was really nothing I didn't like about this hotel.
It was terrible and confusing. You had to get a voucher every day and it was far away, so you had to walk with all your stuff very inconvenient. Thought it was crazy that you had to pay for wifi too
Very clean, very close to the airport, workers were nice. No fridge in room. Parking is not free.
Booked on KAYAK mobile for $90 plus tax. Close to LAX - good for travelers spending the night. Check-in was efficient. Room was pretty big. Bed was comfortable. Seemed to be very clean. Stepped right onto the shuttle in the morning to go to LAX. The flipside of proximity to LAX is that you can hear jets taking off, although it wasn't loud enough to disturb me at all. It may have been bad luck, but I saw several hotels' shuttles come by twice or more before the Sheraton shuttle finally arrived to pick us up. Also the shuttle stalled out a couple of times on the way to the airport, leading to significant anxiety. Possibly may have also been just bad luck.
Staff made up different policy to extort money from confused scared woman. The received numerous calls from the booking agents and their parent company but they refused to honor the stated policy. The result, the hotel took all the cash off a woman who was traveling alone and had miss her flight due to an airline agent's mistake, Their actions forced a diabetic not to eat for over 14hrs.....
Location, gym, bed, price.
I like being able to see air traffic at LAX, so that's a plus for me. Others may not like the noise, but I don't mind it at all. The Club lounge on the 15th floor serves a decent breakfast, with a variety of breads and cereals, pastries and muffins, fruit, yogurt/fruit/granola parfaits, oatmeal, and drinks. The hotel has a room service robot that delivers small items that you may have forgotten or run out of (toothpaste, etc.) Water pressure in the shower on my 4+ stays has been far less than impressive. I can't say I've had to dance around to get wet, but it's almost there. The mattress and pillows are a bit soft for my taste, but I know I prefer a firm mattress and extremely firm pillows. Service in the hotel bar was the worst I've ever had when I was there earlier this week. They took a while to take our order (I was with a colleague), then brought me the wrong drink. They delivered my order (an ever-so-complicated quesadilla) 20 minutes later, and my colleague was still waiting on his medium-rare hamburger 45 minutes after ordering it. We did speak with a manager, who indicated that some changes had been made just that day and that the staff was adjusting. I may give the bar another chance, but if it's as bad as my last experience, it will be exactly that - my last experience.
Restaurant service and yelp promos very good
Awesome bed. Didn't have housekeeping while staying there.
Location and shuttle timeliness. I didn't appreciate being charged for valet when I never had a car parked at the hotel. And then making an attempt to get in touch with the finance department of the hotel was nearly impossible. I left messages and called repeatedly only to never receive a call back.
Parking is so expensive
I liked the view the room was ok wasn't what I was expecting (received a king instead of a double queen) Staff was very friendly -Wasn't aware of parking so I was charged twice for going in and out -Have to pay for WiFi (Not Free) -Paid for club level wasn't able to access the club room for breakfast or the horderves with my key card -Extra $20 to get a double queen when it was offered during reservation but wasn't able to select figured since there was 3 guest it would give me double queen (said king or double queen) -Wasn't Well Informed on anything during check in -Left disappointed
My suite was very nice & clean. The staff where really friendly & very helpful LOVED IT!!
the bar shitty elevators, takes forever to get an elevator
This was Convenient with the continuous shuttles and proximity to the airport. This hotel is in a serious need of an update for rooms. My room was on the third floor. Immediately walking into my non-smoking room I detected the smell of stale old tobacco have a room that had one smoking allowed. The carpet was old and the decor was dated. In the bathroom some of the woodwork showed moisture decay. The bathroom was small and the sink stood at about mid thigh of this 5' 7" guy. This was not what I would consider an ACA accessible room based on the size of the restroom so I don't understand why the sink was so low. Generally this room made me feel like I was staying at a seedy motel rather than a Hilton.
There was a lot that hilton offered. To the point where we weren't able to do everything in the hotel for the 5 days we were there. The only thing that was a struggle, is the narrow-ish drive in for the front of the hotel. If there's a busy day or event, good luck getting through the entrance with a vehicle.
It is nice there are FOUR jacuzzi hot tubs.. The temperature in the jacuzzi could have been hotter.
Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Nice rooms and comfortable bed with decent coffee in the rooms. We stayed on the airport side. Guess what though? Jets are very loud. Also, the garage is a bit like a coal mine with parking found somewhere near the earth's core
Room has a lot of facilities. Lobby is huge and luxurious. Breakfast was somehow rich. Staff are friendly. Rooms were much smaller that the value expected vs. price paid. The toilet was not properly clean since there were long hairs in the sink and on the floor. Bathroom is so small for a Hilton.. I would have liked to have a personal scale in the room to weigh the luggage prior to going to the airport.
Friendly staff. Easy check in. convenient to the airport. Large room. Clean room and comfortable beds.
The hotel was very big and clean I liked everything
The location is great for a night's stay before departing/arriving from LAX. The rooms were also nice. You will be charged $9 to check in. That's right. The parking policy says you have 30 free minutes to park, get checked in, unload your bags, and then move your car. Unfortunately, it takes 45-60 minutes to find a spot two floors below the parking garage gate, take an elevator up four floors to lobby, check in, take a different elevator 10 floors up to your room, unload your bags, take an elevator 10 floors down to lobby, get on a different elevator for the garage, and then go down four floors to move the car. I was charged $9 for the hour of parking. I asked for a refund from the manager stating that I didn't think it was appropriate to pay $9 to check into a hotel. He responded by saying, "I'll see what I can do, but they don't care. They only care about the numbers." Buyer beware.
Our connecting Delta flight was cancelled due to the recent weather and system issues. We couldn't get another flight for 36hrs. After arriving at the hotel at 1am, I was told that a strict check-in time was 3pm. I explained the circumstances, but no one was accommodating. They kept explaining their check-in policy and advised not to fall asleep in the lobby or security would request us to leave. There were several travelers in the lobby for the same reason. As I saw hotel customers check out, I asking about room availability. I was told to wait until 9am when housekeeping arrives. At 9:30am, I asked for a room. I was then informed that I would have to pay $50 extra to get one of the first available rooms or continue to wait until 3pm! I had no choice but to pay extra. This was unacceptable!
Clean I will pay for the Wifi
Clean. Called housekeeping for shampoos twice, and the second time the lady says it's on the way but I was waiting until checked out and nothing happened.
Staff was phenomenal. Very friendly and answered all of our questions. This was fromthe front desk to the cleaning ladies. Great place to stay. Our room was also one of the quietest that my wife and i have ever stayed in. The only negative was the construction but it's a remodel. Didn't hold that against them.
The room was gorgeous, the lighting and furniture was very sleek and modern. The room I was in also had a 60"+ Tv which made for a great way to catch the end of the Sunday night football game in solitude. The room and hotel are great. However there was a $250 deposit on the room, this wasn't an issue for me, though I can see this being an issue for travelers not being financially prepared.
Juan in the bar was great. Got us food when we needed it and he was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. He should be commended for a job well done. He went out of his way to help us.
The room was nicely updated. Hotel is under construction. The construction noise started at 8am. The staff was unable to compensate me because I booked the hotel through KAYAK.
The gym has a nice view, and the shuttle was efficient. Small room.
The renovated room , with modern details. The type of window of the room 722 is old and doesn't match with the renovated room.
Clean, quiet. Just coming off a red eye with my wife and kids for a few extra hours of sleep during our layover; the decor was a bit over the top and certainly not what we expected from a Hyatt Regency. Weird 1950's lighting. Limited bathroom privacy. The whole room felt like a spaceship. This property shouldn't be a Hyatt Regency; it felt more like a W or an edgier brand. Hyatt Regency at other properties feels classier; this was too modern and hip for a family running on fumes.
Loved the view of planes. Need more handicap spots for parking. Bathroom a little adted
Long term parking is next door. Major construction of hotel going on. Met by Security on the way to our room- apparently it it had been trashed by the previous guest and not cleaned. Why would you check us into that room? Dark roast coffee only- most hotels offer a medium.
The place was extremely nice and well done. The accommodations were comfortable and nice. I purposefully told the attendant I would be leaving early and my guest will be staying until check out. She said she would make a note and one was not made. So then my friend was harassed and accused and made to feel like a criminal when he tried to get in the room and the key did not work. His belongings were held hostage while he was interrogated.
Location go LAX. Accommodated late check out. Overnight parking seemed a bit expensive. Cleaning staff came in multiple times with the do not disturb sign out.
Room was missing an iron
It was easy to find, clean, friendly and comfortable. I didn't like the exorbitant parking fees and they had no record of my reservation through booking.com. Thankfully, the front desk staff were able to get me a room (and a rollaway :( ) and lowered my cost as a show of good business.
Bed comfortable. Linin nic Bathroom Tissues so cheap like a gas station very limited tolietries. Paper coffe cups? Must call for ceramic. For a Crown Plaza I expected higher quality Good in restaurant tasted canned or frozen
This place is great. I paid $136 a night. Super nice staff. Parking in the structure was only $15 that's good because from other reviews I heard it was more. its super convenient and has a nice view of the airport (perfect for plane lovers). Before you check they send you a email asking you when you wanna check in, what view you want, how many pillows you need, and if your a single or double bed so that was pretty cool. Overall it's a very good place to stay. I will definetly book here again, only if I can't stay at Taylor swifts house hahaha Didn't have a fridge. Would be the best if they can put one in the rooms that don't have one. Other than that this place is s
The pizza and craft beer were excellent. Sushi and many other food options were available.
Having to pay $25 for valet parking.
Our receptionist Diamond was one of the best receptionist to accommodate us at the beginning. She made sure that all of our request regarding rooms and parking was taken care of . What a great host. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff were spot on. Every morning at 6:30 am during our stay, there was a group of protesters outside of our window marching, yelling on a loud horn and shouting. Apparently, they wanted the hotel staff to unionize and the hotel has pushed back against it. We only learn then why we received ear plugs on our bed at the beginning of our stay. Even though we were on the 8th floor, it still was very loud and annoying during our 3 day stay. It lasted for about 1 1/2 hours each day.
I like the travelers kit with the relaxation essential oils spray. It made it very easy to fall asleep for the four hours I was there.
Good but noisy A/C unit in room 826. Good but noisy A/C unit in room 826.
Friendly, quick check in, comfortable room, good size room. Dirty linen, cheap toilet paper, did not live up to expectation based on name of hotel, airport shuttle very behind schedule of advertised "every 15 minutes".
Newer updated rooms, great bed/etc. Good location for getting around areas of LA. Parking was a bit costly because of how close this hotel was to the airport but it was a nice location for getting around various areas of LA.
Super clean and comfortable. Relaxation therapy face and foot cream and room/pillow spray a nice touch.
Airport hotel, so just to sleep. Two girl friends travelling together and everything worked. Nice bathroom with lots of counter space, good shower. Lighting for reading was focused and not intrusive to the other person, with convenient switches,. Check out was done on the phone in your room, airport shuttle buses ran every 20 minutes, 24 hours per day. Basically everything worked and was very convenient. Sometimes the simple things add up to a great stay. Bathroom door was a pocket door and very noisy, so there was no way to go to the washroom without waking up the other person.
Staff was great, location to other attractions The parking garage was pricey considering I paid 200.00 a night should get a discount when staying. The elevators were all not in service. Breakfast was too expensive for a weeks stay. I couldn't find a salon inside for service.
Walking distance to universal and reasonable droving distance to many LA locations. Cost of parking.
The room was spacious...good pillows. Good gym, nice pool. Two elevators were out (and have been for 3 years!), making trips up and down sometimes very lengthy. You can call the operator each time you go to the elevator asking to be picked up, but how ridiculous for a hotel of this caliber. Restaurant food was boring. All three places to eat at the hotel had the same menu, with tiny differences. The first meal or two it is fine, you can find alternate foods to eat, but after a few days, a change is necessary. It cost $18 for a so-called, all you can eat 'continental breakfast'...yogurt, fruit, cereal, muffins and coffee! This Hilton is near the Universal City Walk, all franchise restaurants so no good food nearby for real foodies...if you like buffets with all you can eat, this is your place.
The pool, corner room & breakfast. The parking situation upon arrival.
The staff, the comfy beds, location Funny smells, noisy electronics/shower, parking price. The place is good but could use an update
Best place to stay when going to Universal Studios, and I go a lot. There's a free shuttle that takes you to the entrance of City Walk or you can walk there in less than 10 minutes via the pedestrian bridge.
Everything was perfect
Close to Universal Studios The outside hallway carpet was greasy and muddy. Even after having them clean it, we continued to bring grease and grime and dirt into our hotel room. Our entry walkway was pretty disgusting because of it.
Staff and less than 10 minutes walking distance to Universal studio Wait for elevator and parking was pricey
I LOVE the beds! I just stayed one night, usually I cannot sleep well the first night in a new location....but in these beds I slept just like I was in my bed at home.
Everything, the staff was very friendly the room was clean pool was warm bed was comfortable and shower was great
The beds are comfortable.
I am never disappointed by this hotel. Excellent!
I have been staying here one night a week for a class I have on the weekends....the night at the Westin is my best night of sleep all week! Comfy beds.
Location . Dirty windows , no tooth paste , and furniture was dusty
The bed was comfotable The first room I entered had smoke oder though its a non smoking Hotel. They moved me to another room. The room size is small and could use some updating. My main disappointment was how long the shuttle takes to pick up from the airport and how long it took to get to the airport. thankfully I allowed an hour before my check in tome. It took 45 minutes from being in the lobby at 0630 to actually getting to the airport.
Usual Westin--nice facility, as expected. Good location if you need to be close to airport--but not too close to downtown LA or Hollywood... Unfortunately our bathroom had a strong cigarette smell in it, and when we asked to change rooms there wasn't a room available that wasn't facing LAX. They offered to freshen it up, but housekeeping didn't arrive until 10pm, and we'd already gone to bed so we sent them away
Clean sleek hotel
My room was not clean. A previous guests clothing was still in my room after checking in. Very disgusted by the lack of attention to detail
I had classes up in Hollywood, but I didn't recognize the hotel names in that area. I chose this Westin, by the airport... and like always Westin was Excellent. Beds are very comfortable!
staff was nice and it was a good quality hotel self-parking was $50 a night and the mattress was waek
They allowed us an early check-in on a day room. The shuttle was quick and efficient. The restaurant was slow and disorganized. The fact that they charged to print stuff out and didn't have a true business center was annoying.
It located near the airport and perfect for travellers like us. They run constant shuttles to and from the airport and a familiar with business travellers. The room condition was below standard. The drains in the bathroom flowed very slowly and the showering facilities were a trial to use. The bathroom basin drained so slowly we had to take turns washing.
Good location ! Good for rental cars return and closer to the airport . The sink in my room smell like death fish.
The location was great, the hotel is beautiful, especially the pool. I didn't rent a car so I liked how easy it was for me to take an uber The bed pillows were bad so I didn't sleep well and the were no outlets near the bed so I could charge my phone and none near the bathroom counter so I could power my curling irons
There was no heat in the room. Management promised to have it repaired the next day but no such luck. My son left sick with a cold due to lack of heat. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights with no heat.
nothing I arrived 11:30pm, as planned. The hotel acknowledged that I had a prepaid reservation, but said: NO ROOM. NO REFUND. NO OFFER TO PROVIDE A ROOM AT ANOTHER PROPERTY (it's Starwood, which has 1,000 hotels in L.A.). Avoid at all cost.
Everything it sucks
The lobby and bar area (bartenders) was excellent and friendly. Looks nice on main floor. Once you get into your room it's tiny. Washrooms are small and out of date. Definetly clean though. Good for 1 night stay only while between travelling places. Tub leaked water all over washroom floor. Tiny washroom out of date. Vending machines on all the floors were sold out of all beverages.
Terrible experience 1)given confirmation that room will be away from elevators and quite, but the room no. 364 I was allocated, was right next to elevators and infront of maid/cleaning room 2)bathroom door lock didn't work. Door kept opening up 3)thin walls in the room. Could hear the shower noise in the next room 4) unnecessarily delay at check-in counter, because there was another person with same last name as mine had made reservation. Most absurd excuse I had heard ever 5) manager too rude to even come out at check in counter , the lady at the counter had to take my phone inside some room to show it to her manager the confirmation msg I got after I had checked in online earlier 6) found a hair in the milk served at breakfast. When asked to replace it, the server didn't even feel guilty to know about the hair 7) TV remote not present in the room.had to call room services and request one
The quiet. We checked in a little early. As soon as we checked in we were told a room wouldn't be ready for at least an hour and with a big business group in the property it was hard to find a space to relax let alone get a drink at the bar. The lobby hallway and bar were so crowded that we had to leave the hotel to get a drink to be able to relax after a long drive in from a neighboring state. Upon return we were directed to a room on the 2nd floor that had a bed that was so flattened and sunken in that myself and my partner rolled into one an other. This was truly unsatisfactory and we expected more staying at a shariton property. This was an issue that could visually be detected by housekeeping or maintenance but was disregarded and ignored. We then spoke to front desk and asked them for a room transfer and after some push back were redirected to a different room. Definitely not something worth going through while on vacation. Makes us want to stay with a competitor to see if the same challenges are met with (Hilton, embassy, etc.)
VERY NICE AND CONFORTABLE MATTRES PRICE
Older property that has charm, but for a 5 star hotel the hotel staff falls short of offering a 5 star experience. In addition, because rooms are older, it's hard to find an easily accessible electricity plug to charge your phone at night. In fact, the only one I could find was in the bathroom.
Liked everything! Especially the complimentary shuttle service.
Beautiful grounds! For the price, things didn't seem up to par. Our room wasn't super clean... chair had food stains. Ice room was very dirty and old. Lots of construction around pool area. Room was okay. Bathroom was nicer than the room. Paint, wallpaper, etc. around the hotel need to be updated and cleaned.
Fantastic place. History and luxury
Lovely grounds and common areas There were no blankets for extra bed.
the Concierge level that I upgraded to as well as the staff!
The bed too soft & too noise
The hotel is a gem in setting and appearance. The staff exceptionally courteous and helpful. The restaurant and bars amazing My particular room, 1702 needed a slight furniture update, and oddly was short a breakfast order door hang tag and the second day I received no bottled water replacement.
Love that the hotel has beautiful lush grounds to walk around. Very pleasant staff and clean rooms. We were given a room at the Villa Clara and while a gorgeous building, our dbl beds were too short and made for an uncomfortable nights sleep.
Beautiful hotel! Staff very friendly and helpful Expensive... We ordered room service late one night and didn't get half of it because they had ran out, but no phone call was made to us or given the opportunity to order something else.
your "english"staff and all the architecture
Everthing Lack of power outlets near bed. But had a wonderful time
Very nice room. Great facilities. Terribly overpriced. Nothing is included in the base price. The fact that the room was well over $400 a night one would imagine that the wifi and breakfast ought to be included. The bar and restaurant are also too expensive for what they offer in terms of quality and choice.
Excellent experience, very welcoming staff with good attention to detail, well located and very good in-house dining options. Interesting designs used throughout the hotel.
Interior decorations, bartenders, the lady at Altitude that walked my friends and I to the daybeds, and the drinks Customer service, mixing up the reservations, the room smelling like cigarette smoke after have it serviced, luggage bags were not delivered until after 3 hours of checking in, and the hand held shower head would leak water when the dial to only have the shower head was on.
Nothing beside the breakfast
excellent service and concierge. great pool. fantastic restaurant and brunch. cool rooms
The spa is very good and the heated pool. The brunch was also good.
Exceptional and very relaxed service, not at all in your face but everything was possible! The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and for LA the room was exceptionaly quite. All in all my best hotel experience in USA!
Cool building, nice facilities. The view is amazing and the location is a short ride to good food areas like Little Tokyo. Bathroom was tiny, there was a small piece of gum stuck on the carpet in my room.
"Complementary" wi-fi wouldn't let me connect under any circumstances! Very frustrating when traveling for business and connectivity is an essential need!!!
Everything sense I checked in the stuff was helpful and very nice I was there for my birthday weekend and they just made it awesome.
Very luxurious when walking in. Room looks clean but there was dust in bathroom and I saw fingernail inbeteen bed and nightstand. Phone was not plugged in and did not work
Everything was beautiful. From our rooms, it is worth upgrading. To the rotating lounge to get a full view of the city. There was something to do all over the hotel. We only left to go to the NBA game! Food, entertainment, night life. The Westin Bonaventure has it all. Wish Starbucks carries their normal breakfast items.
Views were perfect, great dining, walking distance toetro Can be confusing when walking around, a little pricey on the breakfast, but the food was great,
Very beautiful, cool building. Room was very comfortable. Great view of the city. Not really near any tourist locations.
The staff was great. It was right in the middle of Hollywood, nice and clean. Loved the shopping connected to it.
The mattresses were too old and lacked firmness.
The hotel was located in a perfect location. I was close to everything I wanted to be near. The pool and other facilities was the best. The room was also very cozy.
Full service, location. I booked and paid for a Deluxe King Room with view of Hollywood sign. I received a room near the elevators with a constant machine and elevator running noise. I asked to be moved and was told someone would be right up and after 10 minutes I grew tired of waiting and went down to the front desk. This was already 11PM. I was taken to a new room that had an adjoining door with a party going on in the adjacent room. I asked to be moved AGAIN, eventually to a room with queen bed. The beds were too soft for my taste. There was a curly hair on the soap dish in the shower. I will never stay there again.
The staff were very friendly, and helpful when I checked in. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The mini-bar key didn't work, and it would've been nice to have a fridge to keep some drinks in the fridge, but I didn't inquire with the staff, and I assume they would've rectified that for me if I had. Nice and central, so traveling for business doesn't mean limited options for food and amenities.
IT WAS OUR FIRST TIME TO CALIFORNIA FOR MY WIFE AND I ,WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE HOTEL .HOW SPOTLESS EVERYTHING WAS.THE MEN IN THE CONCEIER DESK CHRIS,AND NINO WHERE VERY HELPFUL.THE BUFFET BREAKFEAST WAS THE BEST.
Staff was ecellent Parking a little too expensive
As soon as we stepped out of the car we were treated with such surprising care. The man at valet, Ever (that's his name- EVER, how cute is that?) was so nice that my fiancée and I looked at each other and just shook our heads and laughed. We weren't used to customer service like this. We went to check in early, 1pm, and Melanie at the front desk was able to upgrade us to a corner suite! The entire staff was so professional but without being too stuffy. The hotel was beyond our expectations. Not a big deal but there was one little Q-tip outside our room for our stay. We kind of joked that they gave us the Q-tip suite. We also couldn't find coffee in the morning inside the hotel. We had our coffee maker in the room but needed more and didn't want to pay $15 for a pot of coffee at the restaurant.
Loved the location of this hotel. Service was great as well!
The staff was amazing!! So helpful! The rooms were very comfortable!! The beds were great!! We had a room with a view, and it was fantastic. The one big thing that I didn't like was, that there was no fridge in the room. We asked for one and got one for a small charge. The other only thing I didn't like was, that there was no microwave in the room.
Hotel was beautiful! Staff was friendly and attentive. Location was fantastic! Our room had a phenomenal view of the Hollywood sign. Pool was gorgeous. All in all, it was the best experience we could have hoped for on our first trip to Tinseltown.
Staff helped us with the set up of a baby bed
The pool is nice The rooms are very very small, the treatment to the costumer is really bad. Not reccommended.
Had to wait at airport for 35 minutes for shuttle to pick me up. Unacceptable!!
The room and restroom was very clean and the restaurant for breakfast very good Room is small
Clean, comfy beds and decent restaurants within. Room smaller than expected, especially the bathroom
The Wifi service
My kids and I love our stay... Beds were comfortable. . staff was nice and friendly.. The restaurants were delicious.. Love the pool and jacuzzi.. We had a great time.
What I'll remember most is the consistently friendly and helpful service, from first arriving to departure. Pool was a bit cold
Really great staff. Enjoyed the wine pairing and tasting menu at steak house.
The beverly wilshire is just an excellent hotel with warm and cozy enviroment, luxurious and really fancy. Guest is very good served The shower is so weak and has no presure, that you hardly can take a shower.
The service staff was great, enjoyed the hotel staff cars (Mercedes and Rolls Royce) taking us to shopping locations/lunch... and picking us up. The hotels artwork, decor and architecture is one of the best in the World, and we have travelled most of Europe and stayed in their 5 start hotels. The Beverly Wishire gets 5 Stars+ in my book, my 2nd time their and I will return again soon. Dr Phil M
The bright, open property is contemporary and quiet. The pool area is large, organized and clean. After driving by twice, we finally realized that BG on a building behind a driveway sign advertising a restaurant was the hotel. Pulled up to check in & unload but was whished away by the valet to move the car. Handed him the keys to move it but he declined...kept insisting I move the car to a lot then check in, go back to the lot to get the luggage then I had to move the car to the overnight lot...all because the trolley shuttle was due anytime. This was how our stay began. The resev. request and 2 calls for a ground floor unit went unheard. 7th floor near the 101 freeway & all the freeway noise. No iron/board in the room & waited over 30 mins to get one that was broken. Print your airline boarding pass.... $5.95 per 5 mins. Really? I addressed each concern with the attentive front desk. They waived the parking fee and asked that we please stay & not go elsewhere.
Convenient location to Universal and other Hollywood landmarks. Wait staff, rude. Front desk, not helpful. I would not stay here again nor recommend others based off the customer service alone.
The pool area was very relaxing and comfortable The pricing for food and drink in the pool area was too high.
Comfortable, friendly staff and great food
Lovely orange color, romantic atmosphere, clean room
everything. except the elevators were broken. truly hurt me. both elevators probably won't effect your trip but it made mine difficult. besides the elevators, the parking is a bit far but okay. everything else is awesome.
Great hotel would stay again.
Staff Noise Fans Tiny balcony Price
Convenience. The wedding we attended was held in the gardens of the hotel. Lovely garden, great service. No robes in the room. View of the parking lot not particularly inspiring. Noise from the highway annoying. Food not great. Restaurant VERY noisy, food below average. If you are without a car, you are kind of stuck. Swimming pool very crowded, good job we had no intention using it.
The room, the bed, pillows, shower, and the size of the safe. The daily parking fee of 22.00 and the additional 2.00 for taxes . Our card didn't work in the parking meter. We had to go another one. The a/c vent next to the bed was loud and the a/c kicked on.
From LAX took the super shuttle to the hotel. Room was ready hours before expected check in. Reason for stay was for business conference at Universal Studios. We took the courtesy shuttle both days to Universal in the morning. Upon check out, Terene at the front desk was so helpful in arranging a rental car and checking prices. Would definitely stay there again. My only complaint was I wanted room service from the kids menu and they wouldn't let me because I wasn't under 12.
Everything was stunning. It's a nice hotel surrounded by greenery and a very friendly staff. The rooms were clean and warm. What was nice was that you could walk to whatever you needed and it was all at most a 30 minute walk away. My friends and I went to universal via their trolly and walked home. It was a very plesant experience. The pillows went flat really fast.
It was comfortable enough for me to return for a second time and felt right at home. The staff is genuinely nice without being gratuitous. Love the outdoor cafe for breakfast.
Location, location, location Small room, expencive parking.
Possibly one of the greatest hotels I've stayed at within the Los Angeles county. From a friendly courteous staff, to an impeccably clean room, Sofitel has lived up to its standards as well as exceededing them. -The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as luxurious and comfortable as possible with their luggage assistance, complementary calls, rapid response to requests, and much more. -The room was spotless and featured many extra amenities not normally included in other hotels. -A glass window separating the bedroom from the shower exemplified the uniqueness of this hotel and offers a romantic setting for couples. -To top this stay off, the chefs truly know their way around a kitchen. Our breakfast was delightful and very artful. I highly recommend all guests to attend the restaurants or enjoy a meal within your room. Overall, a wonderful experience at the hotel Sofitel. I will gladly be returning in the near future as well as forwarding friends and colleagues. No comment
Great staff and great hotel, a little pricey for the size of the room but overall great stay Wifi was down with no notice, was on the phone with IT for over an hour
Great location, cool hip vibe Very small room, Unresponsive service, air conditioning in room broken, shower in bathroom was actually worse than an old holiday inn. Things were just broken down, dirty, and nobody seemed to care. For a luxury hotel, a huge disappointment.
Beautiful room, helpful staff, comfortable bed. Needed to wear ear plugs as the road noise is quite loud.
great room with great view facing the hills on 9th floor i was sick and the maid unfortunately took away my thermos jug with tea, even though i put it off the tray and next to my bed
Very nice and clean. Great value and great location. Lower floors can be loud at night if there is an event in the restaurant.
Excellent service and great suite W views. Signage for gym directions needs to improve.
the comfort of the bed We got an upgrade but the room was tiny.
Arrived at hotel at 4:30 pm after a 7 hour drive. Our room was not yet ready. Asked if we could wait at the lounge. The lounge and restaurant were reserved for a private party. They recommended finding an restaurant on the street nearby. We just drove for 7 hours and didn't want to search for a "place" to wait somewhere outside of the hotel. We finally were allowed to our room...which was nothing as shown in pictures. It was dark, dingy with no seating beside the bed. Because the restaurant and lounge were "reserved", and we were too tired to venture out to eat, our only option was room service. We ordered chicken Caesar salad. Although they said it would take 45 minutes...it arrived in 15. A salad with chicken breast on the side. Much to our disgust...as we sliced the chicken to add to the salad, it was not just under cooked...it was RAW! completely inedible. It took 4 calls to room service and guest services to have someone come to our room to witness the meal, acknowledge the error and remove it from the room. This room was 350.00 per night with valet...I've had better treatment in a 75.00 a night motel. I will never revisit this Hotel.
nice place, good view, quiet, good area for many things. none
Great food at its restaurant.
i only stayed one night on a long haul stop over was not there long enough
Location is good and most staff is pleasant Manager very rude and pool is practically on the atreet
I reserved a room with two beds. When I checked in they said they didn't have any rooms available with two beds. They assigned us a room with a king size bed. I was very disappointed, my adult pregnant daughter was with me and I should have received what I reserved.
Style decor... very Hollywood Chic Loved the spa and wet rooms Checking out and valet was a long wait
The hotel is in a nice area and is in walking distance to Rodeo Drive. It has amazing views from the bar/breakfast room, you can just see the Hollywood sign in the distance. There is free internet access and complimentary coffee in the bar all day. Didn't rate the breakfast, the only hot food was scrambled egg whites?! Certainly didn't expect an English breakfast but thought it would have been nice to have had bacon, eggs and pancakes with maple syrup. We had breakfast in the hotel the first morning and then went out to have a lovely USA breakfast the following mornings.
Nice location Well furnished and decorated. Pumbling issues NO HOT WATER. I was unable to take a warm shower before bed. In room movie system also had issues. Hotel and room look nice but they have some underlying infrastructure issues. Room was also noisy. Lots of road noise even on the 9th floor. no self parking available . Valet parking $40 for one night.
Excelente hotel.
Perfect Hideaway with a view in the midle of Beverly Hills with great views.
The location is wonderful with easy access to the beaches and BH, freeways. The only parking is valet which is now the norm in LA. The staff was exceedingly polite and helpful. I stayed at this hotel about two years ago. There seems to be a climate control issue in the room. I am pretty sure I stayed in the same room during both trips and don't know if it is an issue on other floors.
