Pros (+) Views, room size, bed comfort, location. Such a beautiful place but requires upkeep. And that is not happening.
Cons (-) Understaffed so no housekeeping. Had to call 3 times to get towels and never got our room cleaned. No maintenance staff so bathroom doors off the runner, freezer door fell off in my hands and broken lightbulb with glass shards left in lamp.
Pros (+) The room was beautiful. Very modern, clean, well laid out and comfortable. Staff was welcoming, helpful and efficient. Wait staff for both meals were friendly, well-informed. Food was very good and reasonably priced.
Cons (-) The grounds were not as well kept up. There used to be a lovely "green garden" open to the public showing their home grown produce. I miss the unplugged feeling--no phone, etc. Everything was so luxurious but the towels in the bathroom were unraveling. When I I told the front desk, and showed them the picture, their reaction was underwhelming.
