8.8 Excellent
Pros: I loved the fact that it had a kitchen in the room with appliances. I was surprised to see wine glasses and plates and much more. I was very impressed.
Cons: The price could have been a bit cheaper but honestly at the end it was worth it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The facilities were very nice, the breakfast above average and location perfect. Pet fee was waived because our dog was being seen at the A&M small animal clinic, that was particularly nice and appreciated. Housekeeping staff very accommodating and a problem with the shower fixed immediately !
Cons: Frozen butter cannot be spread and oatmeal was like soup. Evening attendant had a handful of lotion when we checked in so she used one hand to do everything then started lotioning her legs while we were still at the desk, yucky !!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Smell on an evening outside and in the hotel
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and great room size
Cons: Could go with a bar
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice and breakfast was good.
Cons: The lights would not work unless main light in living room was on so we had to unplug the lamps in the room and didn’t have lights for the bathroom during the night which was annoying.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and the hotel staff was friendly.
Cons: There’s wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a typical Staybridge property. They did have an open pool but it was outside and could have benefited from a little heat. The nighttime spread was hamburgers with all the fixins, chips, salad, and beverages, very good. Nice breakfast provided as well. It is located at one end of an exterior mall with lots of shops and several restaurants in easy walking distance.
Cons: The staff attending the meal service was not particularly attentive or friendly, more involved chatting with other staff than greeting and serving hotel guests. Ice was not ready at the start of the evening meal service and they were out of one of the soft drink options without identifying it as such. A lot of outdoor workers seemed to be using this facility as a temporary home base and the residue in the washer/dryers reflected such. Management would do well to make frequent inspections and cleanings of the laundry equipment and area.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else was great
Cons: The parking. There was an 18-wheeler taking up 10 spaces.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Toilet paper awful and expensive pet deposit
9.0 Excellent
Pros: All good. No complaints. Clean. Friendly.
Cons: Some of the towels were torn.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Didn’t expect the big kitchen! I’m sure the price goes up during football season at the college but with no game the price was right and I would travel again with the whole family it was that spacious. Walking distance to food and shops.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They allowed me to early check in after working all night and I’m so grateful & thankful for that!

The Stella Hotel - College Station - Building

9.1 Excellent (1,366 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Bryan, The Stella Hotel is within a 15-minute drive of Texas A&M University - College Station and Kyle Field. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and a very nice area close to the airport. The park/lake next to the hotel is very nice for an early morning stroll or just to enjoy.
Cons: The reception desk was very different. It was a huge table that you stand out. The receptionist seemed a million miles away. Very impersonal and a big barrier to interaction that the rest of the hotel does very well at. I never did figure out how to set the HVAC system. It was very hot in my room because I could not figure out how to set the temperature and get t to work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very friendly. Room was very comfortable. Pool was refreshing. Slept really well on the bed.
Cons: I really can’t think of anything that could’ve been better, unless it was free.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was great, checking in was easy, the hotel was decorated cool, loved all the fixtures, colors and textured wall coverings. This hotel had a great outdoor pool, small lake for paddle boarding, and there was an concert at the lake pavilion with food trucks, the place was happening. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the ladies that were our waitresses were Great!!!! The atmosphere was hip, fun, Texas cool and a great value!!!!
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The staff could have been more knowledgeable about the food options, bar options, and timeliness of bar delivery. Also multiple food options were not available despite being on the menu.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel. Conveniently located to the Brazos County Expo Center where we were attending a cattle show for the week. I liked that it was in a business park/neighborhood because it felt more secure but you are at least 5-10 minutes from fast food or convenience store or gas. Parking was good, even with a large truck. Pool looked very nice but we did not get to swim. Outdoor concert at the adjacent lake (which our room overlooked) one night but our room was still quiet for sleeping. We will stay at the property again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: No complimentary breakfast and in room ordering charges you an extra 21%. The bed was very comfy and the shower was nice.
Cons: The price is outrageous for a weeknight. I could have stayed somewhere else for a lesser price and had the same experience. There isn't much that sets the Stella apart.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The ambience is great! Very relaxing and many things to do so you don't have to leave your hotel ~ walking by the water, bicycle riding, swimming, light shopping few shops down and coffee shop too. Restaurant in hotel and bar.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Decor was amazing!
Cons: Outside noise
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the feeling when you walk into the Stella. It’s a little bit rustic/industrial/contemporary. My room was well appointed with special touches. I love the shower gel and soaps. I have always stayed on the West side (odd number rooms) to watch the sunset from my room. The food at the restaurant is spectacular for dinner and breakfast! Early in the evening I decided to relax at the pool where it was quiet for a Tuesday night but they had great music playing. With great landscaping and water features it became a relaxing oasis from my busy day.
Cons: There wasn’t poolside bar/restaurant service at the pool on a Tuesday night. That’s probably reserved for weekends.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff went the extra mile! We left our dog in the room and she was feeling lonely so they went in and checked on her she was in a cage and everything was well
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We arrived very late, and left the property very early so we could not give an accurate description on meals. Friendly at check in time , but that was about all the dealings we had with the hotel. No one was overly friendly, or unfriendly. The rooms were top quality, beds, pillows, clean, neatly organized, outside was top quality.

Pros: The location was very conveniently located near many restaurants and venue I was in town to attend.
Cons: On our 2nd night, my teenage son & his cousins were waiting for a ride in the lobby. My son goes to our room, which is located on the 1st floor, near the public bathroom. When he returns to the lobby the hotel driver yells at him ‘that’s some Bullsh@t’ what you did in the bathroom!’ My son & daughter tries to explain that he didn’t enter the public bathroom & didn’t know what he was talking about but the driver wanted to argue with my 18 yr old son, who calls me highly upset. Luckily my older daughter was there to speak to mediate but the driver accusations were highly unprofessional, he didn’t apologize it acknowledge he may have been mistaken in his accusations & did not take responsibility that this issue could have escalated to another racial Youtube video. The night supervisor spoke with my husband & refunded 1 night of the 3 we stayed, but as a travel agent, parent and concerned citizen for the climate we live in, I will never stay in at this hotel again.

Cons: The room had two pillow to sleep 4 people. There was no complimentary coffee in the room. When I called for a delivery, they were understaffed and the front desk person was too busy to deliver and ask me to walk downstairs. It was 9:30 at that time. I wish they could have done a better job stocking the room or had more staff to accommodate guests.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Convenient and clean. Great breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast set up was charming. I liked the computer stations in the front area but maybe not ideal for privacy if I were doing something that needed privacy. Room setup was very nice w the pull out sleeper and room divider-nice touch. As well w the dish soap and basic eating needs in the room.
Cons: It was difficult to self clean our table at breakfast because there was insufficient bussing station to place the dirty plates/cup/etc. They were piling up in the bin by the time 3 people cleared their plates and stacked them. Also, the little hole to dump our waste made a mess.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice pool with good hours. Clean and spacious rooms. Family and I enjoyed stay. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Not as many choices as most
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent and breakfast was nice. Having a kitchen in our room was a plus.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the pool and the room. The real dishes were a nice touch!! Kids loved that. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: I am traveling with three kids and I did not like their breakfast! Food was not fresh. I am Celiac so I could not eat much. Fruit. That was it. Very disappointing for the amount of money paid. I’ve stayed in cheaper and they had better options. Options at that!! Unfortunately we will not be able to come back since the breakfast did not have much variety for everyone.

4.5 Okay
Pros: The cleanliness of our rooms was good.
Cons: The front room was a sauna. They offered it to us for meeting with our team but we couldn't stand it because there was no air conditioning. The breakfast was okay with the exception of them running out of syrup and instead of running to the Walmart down the street they posted an apology note on the wall. The check-in was a NIGHTMARE. Eduue coudn't find the reservations and instead of asking for help from the General Manager he angered all of our guests by telling them they didn't have the rooms available for them after we had made our reservations and confirmed them a month in advance. The GM did fix this and found the reservations for most of us but several had duplicate reservation numbers which caused one of the two guests to not have the correct room. At check-out, I noticed there was an additional charge for over $300 that was in addition to the 3 rooms that I had already paid for. Eduue, again trying to help without checking with someone with authority, assured me the charges would be released. They were not and they had to issue a credit and then CHARGED ME AGAIN for them the very next day! We will not stay here again which is a shame because the cleanliness and location of the hotel are great but the customer service and over charges were not acceptible. Instead of trying to accomodate us after they realized they were the ones that were making the mistake, Eduue continued to treat us as if we were a problem. VERY unwelcoming.
