Pros:Great place to stay. Staff was very accommodating, and the location is central to everything.
Pros:Cheapish through third party.
Cons:Staff was not helpful and woman was rude. It was dirty, old, moldy. Wouldn't recommend and will never go back.
Pros:I travel solo a lot during the winter, as none of my friends enjoy ice climbing, mountaineering, snowboarding, etc. For the price, East Gate was pretty comfortable and clean (and the huge flat screen was nice, too). I felt safe staying there alone and 1,000% got my money's worth. The front desk staff was super upbeat and very friendly. I was able to buy a lift ticket to Cannon for $59 (as opposed to over $70 at the mountain), the distance to Frankenstein Cliffs/Flume Gorge was around 15 minutes or less, and the center of town was absolutely adorable! Great shopping and restaurants!
Cons:Nothing, I mean...for what I paid to stay here, complaining would just be wrong. It was safe and clean. The heater was, like, right behind the bed which made for kind of an uncomfortable night's sleep, but that's literally the only thing close to a complaint that I would have. Oh, Booking.com screwed up my reservation...but that has nothing to do with the hotel and they were able to get me in for what I needed, anyway...
Pros:Clean motel at great price as a base location for weekend skiing. Rooms have a nice big screen T.V. with many stations to choose from with satellite TV. Quiet for a good nights rest. Basic but adequate breakfast provided. Discount tickets for Bretton Woods and Cannon available as well.
Pros:Simple. Clean. Quiet surroundings. Friendly and courteous owner. Wifi. Good location for my needs. Easy access to freeway. Had a small fridge, small microwave and newer, large TV - all the basic necessities.
Cons:Room heater was a bit loud.
